Video Summary
AI GeneratedA 19-year-old man with physical disabilities was brutally assaulted by a group of peers during a bonfire party at a state park. The attackers beat, kicked, and choked the victim while others filmed the incident for social media. Law enforcement has arrested four individuals, aged 18 and 19, who now face felony charges for their roles in the attack and for filming the assault.
Alright, so the original incident occurs on October 23rd in our state,
one of our state parks, where a young man,
19 years old, he has some physical disabilities,
goes to a bonfire party with a friend. He's pretty shy,
he doesn't really know anybody, he doesn't want to participate.
Eventually he does, and then you saw where these morons...
Actually, we've done them scumbags of the week,
decide that it's going to be a really good idea to beat somebody down
who can't defend themselves, allegedly over a comment,
and maybe he touched or didn't touch a girl's leg there.
But then he just proceeded to beat him down.
So we were able to make two arrests in this, and then we went after
the person who thinks it's cool to stand by and watch aggravated assaults
of her and film it, and then one of the other punchers in there.
So we'll bring up everything so you can see it.
The Bastion Bowers, 19 years old,
arrested for assault, aggravated battery, battery by strangulation.
We saw a video of this guy trying
to stoke out another aggravated abuse
of battery by strangulation.
He's actually the one that's our victim in a headlock.
We're clearly considered by the military for that.
We're doing that.
Again, this is one of our guys, Logan, that's 18, he was principal
to aggravated battery, accused of aggravated battery as well.
People should be really proud.
I mean, if you're parents out there,
you should be really proud of the way you raise your kids.
It's okay to beat a physically disabled man into the ground.
It's good.
It's fun.
And you film it, and you post it so everybody else can see it.
And here's our poster.
Here's the news.
Here's somebody that everybody should really pay attention to.
Daisy Knight, 19 years old,
same charge as principal to aggravated battery.
If you're going to stand there, and you're going to film this stuff,
And you're going to post it.
Your ass is getting locked up.
Okay?
You have a duty to intervene.
But you want to be a cameraman.
You want to get clicks.
And you want to film your punk, coward-ass friends.
You're going to get the same treatment that they're going to get.
So I think America should take a look at these brave young men.
Join the military.
Do something that's real and creative.
Instead of picking on somebody who can't defend themselves.
This is it. These four are charged.
Everybody's 18, 19 years old in this.
Yes.
.
There's some of their criminal histories.
.
.
Like one of them, I think, has a few misdemeanor arrests for everybody.
.
.
They did it right. They're all charged with felonies, you know,
.
and hopefully the state attorney is going to pursue
this and make sure that justice is served.
I mean, it's not right to see that,
to see somebody picked on like that because of their disabilities.
This is going to be an easy target.
It makes you want to throw up.
When I first saw it, the first reaction was, I want to throw up.
You're beating an individual
that basically has one arm, is what you're doing,
and some other issues, and you think it's cool.
I get it, you know, once again,
Mr. Booze is the winner and still champ.
When do you make a good decision when you're drunk?
Answer is, or hi, never.
And this is an example of that.
Let's go out and beat somebody up.
And nobody knows anybody here.
I shouldn't say that.
The beaters all know one another.
But the young man who's the victim in this, he doesn't know anybody.
He had a friend take him
to this bonfire where he didn't want to get out of the car
because he didn't know anybody
and he felt intimidated and out of place.
Obviously, we see that.
Uh, he's okay. I think he's got, uh, you know,
like anything else, he doesn't want to come out of the house.
You know, he's being raised by his mom, who works for Publix,
trying to identify him. So, you know, they're scared to death.
They're scared to death of retaliation.
They're scared to death of, you know, whatever, what happened, because
they figure this has never happened in this young man's life before.
Here you are at 19 years old, and they're beating you down,
they're laughing at you, and then they're filming you.
And then they're sending out to all
their friends, hey, look what we did.
Well, if you think of it, this is probably the third party
where we have had some type of really bad situation.
I think there wasn't one that long ago
where we had somebody end up with a fractured skull
and some other nasty injuries in De Leon's party.
So this is probably the third one.
We're working with FWC to try to identify these things.
We probably need to do a better job in tracking
what they're posting on social media
because sometimes you just can't get it.
This thing was apparently posted on social media.
So, you know, again, it goes back to being,
I know they're 19 years old, they're 18 or 19 years old,
but again, you know, what is your kid doing?
How did you raise your kid that this is a good thing?
Nobody intervenes.
They beat him down, they film it, and they're laughing,
and then eventually his friend is able to get him out of there,
and then they wait a day before mom calls us.
They're in the park.
Yeah, they shouldn't be in there.
They should not be in a state park in Tiger Bay Forest.
They should not be in there.
But, hey, let's be honest.
We're all kids.
We all did stuff like that.
We all went in places we shouldn't have been.
And you got away with it unless you did something crazy.
And here's something that we're,
you know, again, I cannot stress enough.
You're beating down an individual that cannot defend themselves.
And that's a good thing from that perspective.
Right.
But I mean, what makes it funny, he couldn't even throw a punch.
He couldn't do anything.
And I don't, and I think when you look at, when you watch the video,
I don't even think he knew what hit him the first time.
Because he just walks up and he gets sucker punched.
Next thing you know, he's laying on the ground.
And then there's just piling on him and kicking him and stomping him
and punching him and putting him in a chokehold.
Battery on a disabled adult, yes.
That's what they said.
He made a comment, inappropriate comment,
and he might have touched their leg.
And they were defending him.
They're felonies.
They're all looking at felonies.
And they're looking at something that's going
to follow them for the rest of their lives.
And I hope and pray that's exactly what happens.
They should be known for what they did.
No, not that I really care.
They're 18, 19 years old.
You want to be a big man?
Well, now we're going to be treating you like a big man.
