Crystal, take it away.
All right, let's hop to weather.
We're taking a look right now at Tempe Town Lake
and a big difference in terms of the flow itself of the water.
You can see it's much more calm than it has
been for really almost a week now.
It was last weekend when we really started to see things pick up.
And what's happening is that the water releases have come to a slow
and the result is that the water, although still flowing the salt,
is not moving as rapidly and it's
also starting to drop in level or elevation
in terms of how deep that water is around areas.
So there are still flood warnings,
many expiring either later today or by Saturday down the Gila River.
But look at the gauge data here.
Right at Val Vista and the Salt,
we're looking at about just over six feet depth.
Still at nine foot depth as of the latest report from Priest,
but the Priest location only reports every so many hours.
So it might just be an old report.
Salt at 7th Ave, we're at just over five feet.
Same for Salt at 51st Ave.
And then the Gila at Estrella Parkway is at nine and a half feet.
And that makes sense.
The water's draining down.
So the Gila is still seeing a bit more water as it's continuing
to work its way to the southwest through our state.
Here's the view on Fox Vision.
We are dry, as we've been the last few days.
That's sticking around for today, too.
So there'll be no change when it comes
to the forecast for our Thursday.
Here are the alerts I was talking about a moment ago.
So the Verde River, rather, through 2 o'clock this afternoon,
through this morning along the salt downstream of our reservoir system,
all the way up to Tempe Town Lake,
and then past Tempe Town Lake all the way through the valley here
until 8 o'clock at night.
And then finally, south of Buckeye, along the Gila, down to Gila Bend.
That's in place, actually, until Saturday afternoon.
Up towards Tuba City, the Moncobie Wash,
7 o'clock today, the flood warning will expire.
We're looking at 8 o'clock tonight
for us along the Little Colorado near Loop
and then a flood advisory until 2
a.m. Friday between Safford and San Carlos.
Our future cast.
So we've been talking about this.
It looks like just a weak system is going
to drop in from the north by Friday.
So for today, just some scattered clouds over the high country, maybe
a few past the valley, but still a sunny, mostly sunny sky out there.
Then we go into your Friday morning.
We see some clouds sitting along the east edge of the state.
So we've got a little bit of like upper
level moisture to play with here.
And then you get that weak disturbance
that's going to drop in from the north.
Just enough lift to it that it may trigger a few scattered showers,
say like St. John's to Show Low, Payson,
Up to like Sedona Flagstaff, but this is very light and spotty,
so I don't have any big concerns,
even though the ground is still saturated from last week's rain,
and everything falls apart by Friday night.
So it's not long-lasting. It's not a lot of rain.
The potential, though, for some showers is possible tomorrow.
And then as we look at the precip outlook, more long-range
from the Climate Prediction Center for November 10th through the 14th.
Look at that. We're back at it
with above-average precip likely in this forecast.
Here's your look at the high temps.
63 in Payson, 64 in Sedona, and 70 in Globe.
Low upper 70s for us here in the Valley again today,
80 tomorrow and then there's your weekend forecast.
Really great for people that want to get out guys. Upper 50s
in the mornings and then low 80s with sunshine in the afternoon.
