‘I came back to life’: Husband reunited with wife after Brandon Citibank active threat

Thank you so much. Thank you. I mean, thank you guys so much for just talking with us. How does it feel to finally be able to get out? You've got someone here. You told me that. I'm sorry. You know, I'm relieved to be here, to be alive. It was very scary, you know. Like I was telling them, I was in the building, C building, where everything happened. But I had my headphones on so I couldn't hear anything. So all I know is that this police officer came in with a gun in the room in his badge and I'm like, whoa, I work here, man, you know, and they pull us to the next room and it's not really safe, you know, because it's like bank center. It's not a fortress. So the rooms are very accessible from different angles. It was very scary until they finally pulled us out and we saw the mess outside, you know, everybody checking up, trying to get in contact with co-workers who don't answer the phone. So you get very scared, you know. So far, everyone I know at a personal level, they're good. But we're still sad because we heard someone, they fall. So I don't know. They told us tomorrow not to come, so. I'm just happy to be here, my wife, my sister. Absolutely. Mental health day, well-deserved. What did it feel like to be able to put your arms around your wife and hug and kiss her? Oh, man, it was like I came back to life, I don't know, full of energy, you know, full of life. Thank you. Yeah, I'm just happy to be here. I'm going to go home and see my son and give him a hug too. As you should. Well, we'll let you guys go. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. We appreciate it. You guys stay safe and take care. Yeah, so you can just imagine what is going through these people's minds. This is a lot of people's worst nightmare, understandably. And it's something you hope never happens to you and your family. Oh, I just, that's the shot right there. Just him being able to walk away safely with his wife, go home and kiss his son. But, you know, the rough part of this is that we are hearing that at least one victim is dead, a person who's not going to be able to do that. So you have to think of what The next future updates could ensue, but this is a positive moment amid all of the chaos. So, Kylie, we really appreciate you showing this to us.
