Celebrity pickleball, Friendsgiving and new Ella Langley music!

Driving into work this morning listening to 99.5 The Wolf with Tara Ward and Ryan Fox and they're talking about the fact on the radio that Tara has a curler in her hair and she says well I have to get ready for TV right and then I get a I get a yes well we're going to be talking with Lauren Prispa later this morning. Good morning Lauren like the radio is talking to me as I'm driving to work so good morning to you both. Good morning, I have taken the curler out since then. I'm a messy bun sweatshirt girl, except for on Wednesdays when we get to talk to you Lauren, so yeah. Let's talk about this Friendsgiving that you guys are going to be hosting. I mean, everyone's invited, right? We're super excited. So just like you guys, everybody up here at The Wolf, we're great friends. And we decided, why not break bread with all of our listeners this year? So we're doing a Friendsgiving at the Soul Man's Barbecue in Rockwall on the 18th. And we want all of our listener friends and all your viewer friends to join us, Lauren. Oh, how fun. At Turkey and all? Oh, turkey, ham, the whole nine yards, baby. Yeah, go to 99.5thewolf.com. Find out how you can get hooked up with this free Friendsgiving. But, yes, it's just our way of saying thank you here this Thanksgiving, Lauren. And Ryan's most excited because we're coordinating our outfits, Lauren. So Ryan's going to wear the turkey sweater. I can hardly wait. Overjoyed. Overjoyed. Just leave the curler at home, Tara. Make sure you take it out before you're gone. I get it. I get it. Let's talk about pickleball. It is bringing some celebrities to North Texas. Yes, so the Outdoor Pickleball World Championships are going down at Brookhaven Country Club as we speak. And tomorrow night, there's a celebrity showdown starring very attractive, very wonderful Mark Wahlberg. He's going to be there, Jeremy Piven, Richard Rawlings. I went and checked. There's still tickets available. They start at $35 and go up from there, which is really fun. But that's at Brookhaven Country Club. It's beautiful. I've never been there before. I went a couple weeks ago for an event, and it's really fun. Plus, hello, who doesn't want to see Jeremy? Jeremy Piven and Mark Wahlberg playing pickleball together. I think it sounds like fun. Is he gonna do any of his Marky Mark songs? I certainly hope so. Yeah, break it down in the kitchen there and on that pickleball court, who knows? Yes, please. I know, I know. You guys have a new music alert as well. Ella Langley has a new song coming out. What is it, a week from Friday? Do you guys already have details about it? Yes, so we know that this is going to come out a week from Friday. It's on the new Hunger Games soundtrack. The new Hunger Games doesn't come out until the 20th. But she has a song on this soundtrack. It's called Here Then We're Gone. We don't know what it sounds like yet because she hasn't released it yet. But there's Kacey Musgraves, a Texan, on there as well. McKenna Grace is in the movie. She's on the soundtrack as well. She's from Grapevine. She is going to be singing on the soundtrack as well. So, uh... I don't know what else is going to be happening with this movie, but I hope that maybe the song is featured somewhere in the movie with Ella, right? Or in the credits or something. Her year has been so incredible with choosing Texas, just going crazy, going bananas. And now you have this and there's no, the sky's the limit for Ella, as we say around here. No doubt, no doubt. More of Ella. I know that's something we'd all like to see. Especially Ryan, right? Yes, I know, I know. You can listen to Tara Ward with Ryan Fox on The Wake Up With The Wolf. The Wolf Show, it is 5 to 10 a.m., 99.5, The Wolf. Good morning. Thanks, guys. Bye, Lauren. Bye, babe.
