US midterms: Trump reacts to the Democrats’ sweeping victory

Congratulations to the Democrats. They did a good job. You know, they've been fighting for a long time. They've been fighting me for a long time. This fight's been going on for ages. You know, I started and really, if you look at it, I've been doing it for 12 years with them and I've come up on top all the time. And I wasn't on the ballot. If I was on the ballot, they would have got there. Look, they got out for the rallies. You never saw rallies that big. So I'm a little bit surprised. I thought that I could transfer those. People into candidates, but maybe in certain cases, you know, don't forget, we had a lot of candidates that did win also. But in certain cases, they didn't win. I think a part of it was Iran. But at the same time, people understood the importance of what I've done with Iran. I think historically, it's going to be much more important than this evening.
