Welcome to my channel or welcome back.
Today I'm so excited because this is my first Christmas video
of the 2026 season.
I might have a shop with me before this video but we'll see.
I don't think
I will. I'm planning on going next week,
looking around at the store, seeing what they have out
and I'm getting so inspired and excited.
I'm not decorating quite yet. I usually do the first of
It's the first of November but
I am due with a baby very soon.
We'll have another little girl.
This will be my fourth kiddo.
I might be decorating a little bit later than normal.
We'll see how I'm doing postpartum.
My husband will be here to help me
and I'm so excited to transform our house,
make it so cozy.
I love taking it room by room.
Adding Christmas trees everywhere.
So today I thought I would walk you guys through
my Christmas decorating plans for this year.
I'd like to take a second to thank Walmart for
sponsoring this portion of today's video.
I am getting ready for the holiday season by
preparing ahead of time.
Different tasks and one of those are buying gifts for my kiddos
and family members. So I'm trying to get ahead
of the schedule this year and Walmart is making that so easy.
So I picked out some gifts for my kiddos. They were delivered so fast.
And I wanted to show you guys some toy ideas
if you have kiddos as well.
I have a nine-year-old boy, a four-year-old almost,
a little girl, a two-year-old,
and then I'll also have another little one this Christmas
who will be a newborn.
I mainly picked up some things for my little girls.
but walmart has tons of the top brands
to choose from like lego my kids love legos
this is actually my four-year-old daughter's first lego set ever
she loves horses and i found this little animal vet clinic
Lego set that I think she will absolutely love.
My nine-year-old boy loves Lego sets so I think
that they will have a lot of fun even doing this together.
Daughter is also very into princesses
of course and I found this little Cinderella doll
and there was also another bigger toy to go with
this that I know she will love. She will be so excited.
Cinderella carriage. She is going to
I absolutely love this, so I picked up this Cinderella doll.
to go with it. She doesn't have anything like this.
She will be so excited for this when she
opens it up on Christmas day.
And I love doing some fun things for my kids leading up until
Christmas. I always do an advent calendar
and I saw Lego has a Christmas advent calendar
that you can make a little creation every day leading up until
Christmas. I got this for my nine-year-old boy.
I think he will absolutely love this. And for my
two-year-old daughter, she is my baby loving girl.
So I got her some accessories to go with her
baby dolls. One being a bunk bed for her babies.
This is so sweet. I had so much fun looking at
All of the different baby doll accessories.
Barbie things, princess things, Lego sets,
Play-Doh, crafts, all sorts of things for
little ones.
I'll put together an entire list
of ideas down below in my description box if you'd
like to check them out and you can reference
them throughout this holiday season.
I know that I do a lot of decorating here on my channel.
And I get ready for the holidays in that way,
but I also, I love putting together gift guides
and different fun things, so I'll sprinkle
those in throughout this holiday season as well.
But I'll put up a picture here on the screen of this little bunk bed.
It is precious.
Last thing that I got her was a double stroller.
for her baby dolls and it is so cute it's kind of a light pink color
and it has some flowers on it
she is going to love this the wheels look very sturdy all
of your christmas and holiday needs
and gifts this season with Walmart again thank you
to Walmart for sponsoring this portion of
today's video now let's head back
to christmas decor planning i do have a pinterest board
I love to save ideas too.
I've probably been pinning to this board since July if I'm being
honest, but most of these things are not just decor,
but it's also just things that I want to
do with my kids or my family, friends, just fun little neat ideas.
If I'm not feeling super
I'm super inspired or I'm like, what could I be?
doing this Christmas season.
These are some ideas so let's go ahead and get started. The overall
theme for this year is continuing on from last year
so I'm going to show you guys a little tour
of our home from last year after I get done talking about the plans
because I feel like just seeing it
is the most inspiring thing
and what I like to do is go back to my previous videos and see
how I decorated the rooms.
I have a lot of the same things that I bring out every single year
and I just build off of my collection.
I'll pick up a few new pieces here and there
and it's just so much fun getting all of those same items out.
It's very nostalgic
and I'm really not changing too much this year.
For our living room, I kept it very
Timeless. I love styling our open shelves here in the living room,
getting lots of really cozy
pillows and blankets, decorating our coffee table,
getting it cozy for the kids, hanging our
stocking. We have our Christmas tree
with the twinkle lights that I'll also put up in the
And it does feel like a lot of things.
things that I will add like having the tree.
I'll probably move this chair out of the way and our
tree will go here but we have a big sectional
so we still have plenty of seating, cozy seating.
I also like to add Christmas trees to all of the rooms in our home
so I'll have one in our dining
room corner. I actually have a new tree for that corner this year.
It's a little bit smaller than
than the one I had last year.
Last year, it was massive, it was beautiful,
But it was a very wide tree.
This year I got a little bit slimmer of a tree
and not as tall, so I'm very excited about that.
And I love decorating our hutch in our dining room
with our Christmas dishes that were passed down
from my grandma, so I'll pull those out.
And the overall colors are a deeper red,
almost cranberry, not really a burgundy.
It's still in the red family but not a bright red.
I also love mercury glass and kind of those
golden-y colors. Brass is really pretty.
I love hanging up ornaments that have pictures in them
throughout the year and different velvet ornaments
and plaid ribbon like a classic.
Ralph Lauren plaid. I know that was really big last year
and I'm planning on using it again
this year because I just I love it.
It's very cozy classic Christmas. Then for our entryway I always
pull out big beautiful pine stems
and our Christmas candles so it smells good whenever
you come into our home.
Last year I lined our entire front door with garland that lit up and
And anywhere that I can stick some twinkle lights.
I'm doing it. Lots of greenery, lots of lights in our kitchen.
I love just transforming our shelves
with all of our Christmas dishes,
cookbooks that have really inspiring recipes in them,
and lots of cozy lamps and just different things for the season.
I'll take you guys through
all of that, but some things that I want to make
this year that are newer are some different
Garlands for windows.
So we have a big window above our kitchen sink
and last year I hung up one strand of
garland above that window
and this year I want to make it a little bit fuller and I
also want to make some plaid cafe curtains with a ruffle on them.
I've gotten into sewing over the last couple months
or so and I'm trying to expand my sewing
skills with things like curtains.
I would love to possibly make stockings, but we'll see.
Just, again, depends on the postpartum season.
If I feel like, I know I'll be home a lot more.
If I feel like I'm up for it, want to do something creative,
I would love to make some stockings or some little aprons,
some Christmas aprons for me and my girls.
Simple things, but...
We'll see.
I saw on Pinterest this garland that you can make.
It's almost like a paper chain looking garland, but you use ribbon.
So I'll put up a picture here on the screen.
I would love to add that to the kitchen window.
I also would love to make a Merry Christmas fabric banner.
I think these are beautiful.
And I love doing advent calendars with my kids,
so I saw a pattern for this really beautiful
Christmas tree that's an advent calendar
that you can put different things in.
Or I also love the idea,
if I didn't put things into the advent calendar, adding in
a picture every day.
Leading up until Christmas I think that would be really sweet.
Overall I'm going for just lots of
traditional plaids and ginghams.
I have some gingerbread items for my kitchen and then in
our bedrooms I love to switch out all of the bedding
for cozy Christmas bedding and put our
trees up and I also like to decorate our downstairs living room
and our fireplace so
It's going to be such a cozy season.
I cannot wait.
I'm loving the fall though.
The fall season has been extra cozy this year,
especially as we just prepare for this little
one.
It's been so good.
We've been doing so much baking, so much cooking with the seasons.
I can't wait to bring in those Christmas flavors.
as well so let me walk you guys through
our home last year and we can get
inspired together i know that there will be things that i
see that i forgot about even how i decorate our front porch i
don't remember what we did
Last year we never have put lights on our house.
Eventually I would love to do that but it just
hasn't been the season to do it.
We do have outdoor lighting and we always put garland and lights just
on our front porch pillars
and it still adds a really cozy glow at night. So let's go take a look
at our home decorated for Christmas last year.
Making our Christmas memories.
So much.
I can barely find the time to sleep.
Yeah, I spend my time running around, keeping people pleased.
But this is my favorite holiday.
It's a chance to start over new.
Cause I missed you so I'm letting go of everything but you.
These are the good times with you.
Baby, this is just gonna be your end.
Hang by the...
Isn't this how it's supposed to be,
making our Christmas memories, oh, you will close
Forget about it
Isn't this how it's supposed to be,
making our Christmas memories,
oh, making our Christmas
memories
I lit my house with Christmas lights
so you should come back home to me
We'll be singing all
the melodies until
the sun comes up
Have a good time with you, baby
I'm
making
a
Christmas
mess,
oh
yes
it's
just
gonna
be
you
and
my
business
and
I'll
stop
it
somehow.
