Welcome to my channel or welcome back.
I'm so excited because today we are starting my
Christmas sourcing.
We're going to go to the stores together, see what they have out. I'm
keeping it local, so I'm just going to hit up Walmart,
Target, and I think I'm going to pop
over to Hobby Lobby as well. So come along with me.
I'm going to be sharing my favorite things
that stick out to me. I'll be sharing some styling ideas.
I'll be playing some Christmas music and
And let's just get into the Christmas spirit together.
And then I'll come back here.
I've got everything laid out
and I will show you guys a haul
of the things I picked up this year.
Everything from a wrapping paper, to artwork,
to shelf decor, some things to put into my mantel,
candles.
Lots of good things, so be sure to stick around until the end,
but I'm so glad you're here.
If you want more Christmas content, for me,
I will link last year's Christmas playlist.
I'm not changing too much up,
so you can get lots of inspiration from those videos, and
I'm starting a new Christmas 2026 series here
on my channel, so welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
Let's go ahead and get started.
The first stop was Hobby Lobby and I looked through all of their picks.
What I like to do with picks like
this is stick them in my Christmas tree. I'll also
use them for arrangements.
The first one that I showed was a little bit pricey.
The second one were definitely more affordable.
And then what do we think of this
third one? I don't think I love how it looks all together,
but you let me know what you think.
Now we're heading to the aisle with all of the trees
which is my little girl's absolute favorite.
I'm just going to show you guys an overview of what caught my eye,
some things that I thought
were cute and cozy like this baby's first Christmas ornament.
That's something that I
was drawn to as we are welcoming our little one into our family.
I also love all of the light pink
ornaments and bows.
This is how I decorate my little girl's room so I always like looking
through there. The Christmas train around a tree is always
so fun for kids and this knit tree skirt
was my favorite. I thought that was really high-end looking
and I loved the cream color. It would go
with lots of different Christmas styles.
They did have some new plaid bows that are tied up. I feel
I feel like this year they...
Extended their bow selection which is really nice to see.
Here are some random ornaments
and different things that I thought were cute
as I was walking through the aisles.
Naturally my girls loved anything that lit up
which I'll show here in just a bit. One of the
things I picked up from Walmart that they are going to absolutely love
but no matter what color
Choice you have for your Christmas decor,
Hobby Lobby is a really good place to start
because everything is 50% off, it's very affordable,
and they usually have a wide selection.
Sugared or frosted cranberry garland and wreath.
Really caught my eye. This looks so high-end.
I love the difference in dark red and bright red
colors. Just the variation makes it look really nice.
They also had lots of different garlands
and all different kinds of greenery, cedar and pine.
Some were also pre-lit,
which I don't remember seeing last year,
so that's a nice option as well.
I stopped into Walmart and I love going into the garden section
and looking at all of their
Christmas trees.
They had two different ones that really stood out to me.
The first one is this cedar tree.
It has very realistic branches.
This is beautiful and under $200.
There's another one from my Texas house that wasn't in store,
but it's their grand spruce. And it is,
I think under $300 for the seven and a half foot. And it is beautiful.
It has the branches that kind of go upward and
I know that's a style that's really popular.
It's very realistic.
So I'll leave a link to that tree as well
as some welcome mats that I didn't see in
store, but I ordered online from my Texas house.
One says Merry Christmas
and it has a red kind of scalloped detail on it.
And then there's a huge plaid layering rug
for under $10 that will match and it'll make
our front porch look so beautiful.
I love the four-foot Christmas trees
from my Texas house as well to put on a front porch,
but now we're heading inside of the store
to the main Christmas decor aisles. The first one has
lots of different decor.
I love that it's separated out by style. There's a more Santa
style. There's a more whimsy style.
There's lots of just traditional reds. There are
Lots of different ones to choose from.
I'm sure that there is something that will match your style
and then we'll go around
to the other side in a second
and check out all of the My Texas House items as well.
Now I will say not all of the My Texas House items are in store.
Some of them are, but a lot of them are online like their pillows
and Christmas bedding.
Those I didn't see in store today.
Maybe they'll bring them out, but I'll link a few of my favorites.
It's
Here is the My Texas House section.
They had some really cute bows, lots of ribbons,
some centerpieces, little faux trees,
lots of pearls this year, and more creamy white items.
I almost bought this ribbon here,
but I thought it was a little too purple
for what I'm going for.
They also had this beautiful blue and white arrangement already
Already made up, I know that's really popular.
I feel like those will go fast.
I also loved this little ornament garland.
I almost got it.
It was under $20.
I feel like this would be so pretty to fill in a tree.
They also have tons of shatterproof ornaments
that are so affordable, so be sure to check
those out as well.
I'm always interested on what they come out
with for Christmas time in the front of the store.
These little tumblers are so cute
and I know that the Starbucks one was really big last year so I'm
curious to see if these take off and become viral for iced coffees
but we'll see. They also had some
really cute hostess gifts if you were looking
for anything to maybe take to someone's house.
A little cookie scoop or spatula would be really cute.
It looked like they were starting
to get some things out up front in the Better Homes and
Garden section. I love their giant candles.
They are so nice and they burn really well.
They also had a lot of drinkware.
I loved this stainless steel and gold teapot that is so
It's so pretty and it looks so expensive. It was a really great price.
They also had lots of Dutch ovens and different baking dishes
that would be so beautiful for Christmas time. Lots of plaid napkins
and tablecloths and just all kinds of things for hot chocolate.
They really go all out and it's all so affordable.
So be sure to check these front aisles out.
My last stop was Target
and they are just starting to get all of their bedding and different
decor out.
I didn't see any of the Studio McGee or Threshold out yet,
so I'm going to go back in a few
weeks and hopefully...
will be stocked, but they did have some things out like this bedding.
These are the ones that
caught my eye that I thought were so beautiful.
I love putting fun festive sheets on all our beds
and switching out our shower curtains.
I feel like it makes it so cozy. So they had some good
options. They had tons of candles out.
I loved a few of the scents I'll share in just a bit.
The bell garlands are so cute.
They had some little faux trees. All of the
Hearth and Hand items were out, it looked like,
but it looked like my store was a little picked
over. So they do have a lot online though.
And their candles also smelled really good this year.
So I'm excited to go through the aisles and see everything.
I did pick up some peppermint mocha
creamer though from here that I'm so excited to use
and my iced coffees. All right, friends,
Hey friends, we are back home
and I laid out everything that I picked up.
I've been shopping and sourcing things over the last month or so.
Good amount from Walmart and a few things from Hobby Lobby.
So let's go ahead and get into this.
I'll try to link as much as I can down below.
I know I for sure will be able to link to Walmart and Target.
And I should be able to link to Hobby Lobby as well.
So check out the links in my description
if you're looking for anything specific.
All right, let's start out with Walmart
because I have been so impressed with Walmart
the last several years as far as their holiday decor goes.
I love that they're just a one-stop shop
for like gift wrapping.
They've got all of my like iced coffee things as well.
The only thing that I didn't see today
for were the Candy Cane Hershey Kisses.
Oh, we love those. They're mine and my kids' favorite.
But let's start out with some of the My Texas House items.
I love everything she comes out with
most of the time. I didn't see some of her newer items like
her bedding. Her Christmas bedding is
So nice. I also didn't see her Christmas pillows in store,
but they're also really good. So I'll
link some of my favorites of those down below,
but I showed a decent portion of the items that
she had out in my store at least.
Other stores maybe have more out, but some of the things that
I ordered from her line, one is this really beautiful
Plaid, it's just like a traditional plaid blanket,
and I always go for kind of a classic
Christmas nostalgic kind of look, and I love a deep red.
Not quite a burgundy,
but a deep red. Not plum, but this fits the bill.
It is incredibly soft.
I don't know if you can tell the texture but it's not scratchy at all.
It's really really soft and
it's a decent weight. So this is going to be more
so like an accent blanket but it is very cozy to
curl up with as well. It has the little tassels at the bottom.
And I love that she has lots of different items
that coordinate with this print.
So if you like to be matchy-matchy
or even if you like to mismatch a little bit, like
that's what I prefer to do.
I do like having some of the same things
in the same prints throughout my home.
So they have a tree skirt that's in the same print.
They have stockings.
They also have ribbon and probably some more things.
Here are the stockings.
I did pick up two of these just to go along with the blanket.
This will be like on my couch.
Obviously, this will be on my mantle
and everything is really affordable, but I like
that it's all very like dark.
It's muted.
It's a really nice color.
And then the little holder up top is more of a velvet material.
So I picked up those.
I also, I saw this pillow online and I thought it was beautiful.
This is a really beautiful print.
It looks very vintage. My only thing is this is pretty
burgundy, like it's a true almost purple,
and I feel like it would go better with my fall decor
than my Christmas, but you can see like the color difference.
It's not terrible, so I'm gonna see
how it looks, and if not,
I might return it or I might stick it in my fall totes, but I love the
ruffle around it.
And they also have a few different plaid ones,
so I might return this and get one of the
more plaid pillows. We'll see, but I thought it was really pretty.
The last thing I picked up from
her collection were some ornaments.
I feel like I needed a few more just like deep red burgundy
flocked ornaments.
I think that's what they're called, flocked. But they are
Really beautiful and these were a great price.
These are a pretty decent size as well. So you
can see here it's like a deep red. So beautiful.
Has a really pretty brass top on it as well.
So these are going to go on my main tree in the living room.
And I just saw this and thought it
was perfect. So here are the two color options that I went with.
One is a traditional plaid.
This one is
21 yards and then the other one is three yards.
So this one definitely doesn't have as much like
it's a lot this one's a lot thicker but I love this print.
This was the My Texas House line.
It just has like really pretty flowers on it.
And then this one is more of just
that traditional plaid with a little bit of red.
So to go with this, I picked up some ribbon.
This is 15 feet of gift ribbon. It's a little bit
thinner and it's easier to work with.
And it also like lays flat whenever you're like wrapping it
around the gift. So here is the color of that.
And I think it will look beautiful on both of these
These gift, um...
Wrapping. So anyways,
I picked that up because I feel like this stuff goes really fast.
Probably should have picked up a little bit more,
but we're going to start with this.
We do celebrate Christmas with some
of our family that's out of town out of state
at Thanksgiving. So I've already bought Christmas presents
and they're ready to be wrapped.
So I'm going to get on that soon. And then another thing that I saw
at Walmart that I thought would be a really neat idea for gift wrapping
are these little mini ornaments.
And they had a pack of little burgundy or like deep red
bows and I thought these would be cute
to just stick on top of a package
or maybe even an ornament and then I
also found these little rattan bells and I thought this
would be cute to add with a gift tag
with a little name on it as well with the ribbon.
I don't know. So I grabbed some of these.
I think they were two dollars each so
Lots of cute little things.
And then they also had,
this would be so fun to put on top of kids gifts.
They have these little bears.
There's a set of four and they're kind
of like little ornaments, but I also think they
would just be cute to pop on again to like a little gift bag
or on top of a present with
some ribbon.
It's just really cute.
So I didn't tie it back very well, but just little tiny bears.
And my girls already saw them
and opened all of them up and put them on this tree.
So another thing that I saw that I thought
was so cute is this little rattan bow.
It's actually not little at all.
It's pretty big and it was only $13.
And what I think I'm going to do is stain this wood.
I think it'll just fit the colors
that I'm wanting to go for a little bit better.
I'm also...
I'm keeping my eye out for this kind of material
in a tree collar to put in our living room. So I
want it to kind of match like a more brown color
but I thought this would be so cute even as a tree
topper. Okay for my kitchen I love doing gingerbreads especially over
by my coffee bar.
I have a gingerbread house cookie jar
that it's like the viral one you've seen.
For the last couple of years from Hobby Lobby,
it looks like the Pottery Barn ones.
I always put that out, and then I've just added
to my gingerbread house collection over the years.
But when I saw this one, it looks very realistic.
It looks like you made it.
And I thought it was so cute, and especially cute for my little girls.
And it is this one here.
I thought this is just so darling.
And my girls are going to love it.
It does light up as well.
So, so fun. I think I'm going to style this on like a platter,
maybe a cake dome over it and just
really play into the, like it was handmade effect.
And then to go with it, I found a little one to
match and I thought it was just so cute.
The bigger one was $20 and the smaller one, I think
I think it was only six,
but it really does look realistic.
I loved the little bow on the wreath.
It's got little scallops on the top.
These were so cute.
I also, for shelf decor, picked up a nutcracker.
This was just a little wooden one
that I thought would be really cute
to just pop on a stack of books.
This one was less than $6 and such a great deal.
Okay, the last thing that I bought from Walmart, it's
not really Christmas, but I thought I would share because I love them
and I thought they would look so nice for Christmas, are some glasses.
And these are a set of eight. It says highball glasses.
And it's just a very like elegant cut of glass.
I am down to like two of my matching drink glasses.
And, like, when we're hosting or have people over,
it's kind of nice to have just, like, a whole set of glasses.
These were eight of them for $15,
which I thought was a really good deal.
And they just look kind of etched, and they're a really good size, so.
I picked up eight of these and I think
they'll just look really pretty with like
a cranberry drink in it or something orange juice on Christmas morning
and they'll also be good for
all year round but they look very Christmassy to me.
Moving on to Target. I didn't pick up
too much from Target but they also don't have everything out yet.
Like I said I was looking for
Kind of rattan tree skirt collar and I know Target has it
but they just don't have it out in store
so I'll have to order it if I want to get it probably.
They also have this really pretty
like wicker advent calendar and some little house storage baskets.
I'll put up some pictures
on the screen but they are so cute.
And, um, they're not in store yet either.
So I'm keeping my eye out for those,
but I did pick up some new dish towels from Hearth and Hand.
I have these in the fall color. It was
like a rust Brown and I love them.
They're my favorite dish towels to use. They're so
thick and absorbent and I really, really love them.
So I picked up the green pack.
I also picked up a few candles.
I loved the look of this one. I thought it was so
classy, so beautiful.
It's a four-wick candle and it smells like Christmas,
truly. This one, the scent is Balsam and Berry from Hearth and Hand.
And I think this candle was $20,
so I thought that was a really good deal for the size and
just the container. And once I burn through this,
I can take it to a candle class and refill it,
and I'll just keep reusing this jar because it is so beautiful.
And then again with this
other candle, this one is from Threshold,
and it's the Scent Cookie Exchange.
Oh, that smells so good. Brie Lynn, my daughter, loved this scent.
So we picked this up and I love
the look of this jar. It has like an etched tree in it.
This one was only $10. So I thought that
was a great deal for a nice smelling candle.
The notes on that one are brown butter and caramel.
Smells so good.
I also picked up these ornaments.
They're picture frame ornaments
from the Studio McGee line with Threshold.
Is it with Threshold?
Yeah.
And I thought these were just so beautiful.
They're a brass wreath with a little bow in the middle.
And I thought they were just so cute.
So I'll put some pictures throughout the year in those.
And then I also saw this piece of artwork and I loved it.
I want to say this was $20, maybe $25, but I love the plaid around it.
It's such a great color.
I think this is...
This is Hearth & Hand
and the brass is really pretty around the edging. It looks very antique
and worn. It's more of a matte look and it just has a simple tree.
So I picked this up
to use on my shelves in the living room.
Only thing I bought from TJ Maxx this year so far
are two little liquor trees that I'm going
to place probably next to each other.
on my shelves in the living room
but this is kind of that natural look that I like to bring in
to all of my decor year round pretty well but I thought this coloring
was so pretty
so I'm gonna try to get
this to look like this with some stain.
You can tell this is very light compared to this.
this to look like this
And this is what we're going for.
I'm going to share everything that I
picked out from Hobby Lobby this year.
I was looking for some artwork.
So I have a few different artwork pieces.
Some for my kids room.
Some for just like little accents throughout the house.
And one that I thought was so beautiful.
Is this little vintage picture.
I love the frame that it's in.
It's a wooden type of frame.
And it's very ornate, and it has a Bible verse on it from Luke,
and I just thought this was
really pretty and timeless.
I don't normally like anything with words on it, but I really
liked this one. Along that same lines,
I also picked up this piece of artwork. This one was
$11.99 and 50% off, so this was $6, and it's a good size.
I love the plaid on it, and
I just thought it was so cute.
I'm probably going to put this in my son's room.
I just thought the little bear was really cute.
And then going along with the bears, I found these little ones.
I want to say these were like $3 each after the sale.
But one is like a green plaid and then the other one is a red plaid.
So got both of those.
This little print.
A little more vintage looking.
It has the plaid around the outside and it's an actual like
canvas material. It's very nice.
And then it has a sleigh that's again, very like detailed.
I don't know if you can see with the glare, but
It's really nice. And this one was $13.99 plus half off.
So such a great deal for these framed
art pieces. This one is a little bit bigger as well.
It has two trees and it has a brass.
frame. I love the shape of this.
I think this is beautiful. This will be one that I put
more so in my living room and this one was a little bit more
but still not bad. It was $30
originally so it was $15 after the sale.
I also found an LED Christmas tree
candle and I love putting these on books.
This is going to go probably in my living room.
On my shelves, I also picked up some of this
bowl filler. I love the natural element of this.
This was it's also a spiced cinnamon scent. It's
like a potpourri but I like putting this in bowls
in my kitchen for like my main centerpiece or like
a bowl on my hutch. It just adds like an earthy feel.
Sometimes I'll even put a get a big bowl
put this around it and then a candle on a pedestal in the middle.
I don't know. I like
All of the natural things.
It has cinnamon sticks in it, dried apples, pine cones of all different
kinds, little fake apples, and walnuts.
I haven't smelled it yet but I think it'll be really nice.
I also picked up a reindeer.
I don't think I have too many reindeer and I'm kind of picky with them
but I saw this one and I just thought it was so cute
and it's got a little bit of brass on it.
It's very nice.
This one was originally $24 and it was half off.
So again, a really great deal.
So I'll just put this on my open shelves in my living room.
I have a few ornaments that I picked up.
It's a little gingerbread house ornament.
It's so cute.
I'm going to put that in my girl's room.
I got one for our new baby.
It says baby's first Christmas.
This is just like a classic ornament.
And I kind of liked the silver.
I don't know.
I feel like it's timeless.
So I'll put a little newborn picture of her in there.
And you guys know I love to make like brown paper snowflakes.
But I saw where Hobby Lobby is selling pre-made snowflakes.
And they were so affordable.
They were $9 originally.
So you get three of them for $4.50.
And they're, you can literally put them up in seconds.
So very cute.
I grabbed two packages of these
and I'm planning on putting them
either in my girl's bathroom,
like above their mirror
or in front of their window in their bedroom
and have it like hanging in front of the window.
I think that would be so cute.
These have some, they're all a darker red, which I love,
but they're not flocked.
They're just...
Matte. So there's six matte, six sparkly,
and then six of a more shinier red. So good filler
for our tree as well.
And then I have the more velvet flocked ones from Walmart. So,
oh, I forgot one more thing is a frosted.
Cranberry garland.
When I saw this in store, I thought this was so beautiful.
It's just full of frosted berries.
I love the pop of red, but it's still muted.
Garland was $30 after the sale price,
so a really good deal.
I'm either gonna put this in my Christmas tree
or I'm gonna put it on my mantle
or maybe even above my kitchen.
Window with some greenery mixed in so that's the plan
but that is everything for today's video. I
hope you enjoyed coming into the stores with me
and seeing what they have out. I'm probably going
to do some more shopping as I go.
Actually after this video I'm going to take down the rest of my
fall decor and start messing around
and playing with my Christmas things. So I do have one tree
I'm going to free up already.
This is one from Balsam Hill.
I'll link it down below, but it's beautiful.
It has so many lights on it.
I love it.
And I have a few different YouTube shorts
sharing more about that tree if you want to check it out.
But thank you guys so much for being here.
I hope you have a great rest of your day.
Don't forget to check out more Christmas videos.
I'll have my Christmas playlist linked down below.
And I'll see you all very soon in my next one.
Bye, friends.
Whoa, oh, oh.
Making our Christmas memories.
