Shared Apples 🍎 Autumn at a Forest Home | Slow Living in Estonia

In this slow living vlog, I’m enjoying some simple autumn moments — bringing home apples shared by our neighbours, baking an apple pie, and heading south to visit my family at their forest home. 🍎🍂

In our neighbourhood, people have a lovely tradition of sharing apples from their gardens. When they have more than they need, they leave some outside their gates for others to take. I bring some home and decide to make an apple pie with custard — a recipe I’m trying for the first time.

The next day, I set off on a little journey through the autumn countryside. As we leave the city behind, the scenery becomes quieter. Our destination is a peaceful home surrounded by forest, where I’m looking forward to spending some time with my family.

For me, slow living is about noticing these little things — the kindness of others, the pleasure of homemade baking, and the beauty of quiet places.
