People moving in, there's a, you know,
there are people coming in from California and other
states too.
So, you know, the demographic is changing a little bit in Texas.
We have Senator Klobuchar speaking to reporters.
So let's go
ahead and
listen in
for a moment.
If you do not like the status quo, I meant it.
We have a lot of work to do and it'll start tomorrow.
But I am also, of course, very excited about the changes
we're seeing nationally.
We needed a check on Donald Trump.
The U.S. Senate winning in states like Texas,
as we just called, and South Carolina.
It is going to be a dramatic change in terms of him
just not being able to run the table.
But my major focus is on Minnesota and the way this
I hope we'll get those results soon
so I can get out there on the stage.
Our next lieutenant governor.
Senator, you could be staring down
a potential trifecta if you win tonight
and the Democrats take total control of the Capitol.
What does that mean for a DFL agenda?
What do you want to move through the legislature?
My agenda is a Minnesota agenda.
And while it is going well for Democrats tonight,
no matter who is in charge, Democrats or Republicans,
I will work with them.
I have been very clear we need to root out the fraud,
And that is not going to change tonight
and that is not going to change tomorrow.
We need to cut through the red tape.
We need to have a growth agenda for our state.
And whether it is Democrats or Republicans running the legislature,
that is what we're going to do.
So my major message tonight is going to be,
for the people that voted for me, great.
For the people that voted for my opponent,
I am going to work to bring our state together,
because we need to get to a better place.
How are you feeling with the results coming?
Very good.
I'm able to kind of compare them to,
say, 2024 when I was also on the ballot.
And the Dakota County numbers that we finally got in were very good.
And we're hearing also,
just having talked to some of the state legislators,
they have more on-the-ground results.
And those appear to be positive as well.
But again, for me, as you'll soon hear when I get out there,
when our final numbers come in and the results are called, for me...
I want to work for the entire state,
not just for the people that voted for me, and everything
that is out there for the plans we put out there
on bringing costs down, on cutting through
red tape, on a growth agenda,
it's going to remain the same, no matter who is running
the legislature.
Okay?
Thank you.
A little better.
Well, clearly this is a rebuke of the cost,
the chaos, the corruption coming out of the
White House right now.
You know, people are tired of it.
But in Minnesota, and let me say this again,
they want to see change as well.
They want to see change in terms of rooting out the fraud.
They want to see us cut through this red tape
and really be more competitive when it comes
to business and bringing our state to a better place.
better place. So I couldn't be more excited about what's happening.
And I want to get there out on
the stage. So we hope that our election officials will get
those final numbers out for some of the
other counties so I can get out there
and talk to the people of Minnesota. But I did want to say
right now, things are looking very, very positive.
All right, Senator Amy Klobuchar,
sounding very confident right now.
