Yellowstone Bear Blunders into a Grizzly and Wolf Danger Zone

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
A routine search for food turns into a high-stakes meeting engagement in Yellowstone National Park.
A grizzly and members of the Wapiti Lake Wolf pack maintain a tense truce over a carcass in Yellowstone's Hayden Valley. But the situation becomes more complex when a second, smaller grizzly approaching from upwind and unaware of what lies it wait, blunders directly into the kill zone.
Watch the incredible sequence as the smaller bear only realizes the danger when it is practically on top of the larger grizzly and three wolves bedded by the carcass, panics, and makes a hasty retreat
Driven by pre-winter hunger, the smaller bear attempts a cautious return from the flank, milling nervously about nearby. Outnumbered and outgunned, it's fearful to approach, but too hungry to abandon the objective. But it ultimately decides discretion is the better part of valor and breaks contact to await another opportunity.
