Controversial NDG bike path to be partially removed for winter

The bike path on Terrebonne Street continues to divide people in NDG. A group of residents presented the borough with a petition last night as officials stand by their plan to partially remove the path for the winter. In 2024, bike lanes were installed on each side of the street, but the borough of Côte de Neige NDG wants to remove one of those lanes during winter months. 1400 people have signed a petition to keep it around. Removing the bike lane would create some 60 parking spots. The borough hopes to make the change before Christmas, but one thing is for sure, the debate isn't going anywhere.
