Custom jewelry. One Pewaukee shop has
been helping people discover something special for five years.
Our Brian Cramp is joining us live from Sienna Moon,
finding out what makes this unique store
a really cool gathering place for people in this community.
Good morning, Brian. Yeah, and Donovan, I'll tell you what,
this is quite the community that they have here in Pewaukee.
You know, right along Wisconsin Avenue, you get the view of the lake
when you when you're inside your store, Grace. But really,
when you walk in, it's a completely different vibe from all the other.
Business is on the strip here.
Congratulations.
Five years.
I remember being here when you guys first opened.
First we have to backtrack a little bit.
How did you get into crystals and healing this way?
Well, I started off by making crystal jewelry,
picking up some wire and making things that
I wanted to wear.
And then I started doing farmer's markets
and one thing led to another and we opened
a storefront.
A beautiful storefront.
Thank you.
As well, as I look around, I mean, it's like this is a jewelry store.
Yes, there is jewelry in here that you make as well.
But there are crystals and rocks, if you will, from all over the world.
Yeah, every continent except Antarctica.
How do you find the ones that you want to have in your store?
How do you procure them?
Well, we handpick a lot of pieces.
So we go to some big shows.
We have a lot of direct importers that we've
been working with for years and years at this point.
And so we do video shopping.
We go all over the country with our minivan
and handpick crystals out and bring them here.
Have a great time. It's the best part of the job.
Do you get to do any digging as well for some?
No, but if you've ever been to a rock warehouse, there is some
crawling around on dirty floors that probably are pretty similar.
Well, I'll tell you what, this is one clean store, and it's
not just the crystals that are on the shelves that you guys have.
Really, it is a focal point for the community as well.
When you bring people together,
you do it in various ways. What are those?
So, we do have the front of the store,
which we get lots of different people coming in
looking for gifts and specialty items.
But we also have tons of classes,
different community events, markets that we host with
local artisans who make incredible things too.
We have women's retreats that we host.
All kinds of ways that we're bringing people together,
because that was the whole point
of the store.
It's why we wanted to open it.
And the point of the store, too,
is also to help us heal in a different way.
For some people, it's getting out there and doing yoga.
For other people, it might be running,
healing, going to church, spiritually.
For you guys, it's kind of all come...
All the things, all the things, all the things here.
And, and I, as I walked in the door,
what did I say about the color I was wearing
my chakra today? Yep. You've got some blue on.
What does blue mean when it comes to the wheel?
Lighter blue is more connected to your throat. So
feeling like you can express yourself,
like you're not taking on other people's words.
And you can just be open
and how you want to communicate with people and your darker blue
kind of connects up to your third eye,
which is all about your intuition, being able to listen
Listen to yourself, see the bigger picture.
We're going to see some of the classes, if you will, the workshops
that they have here, but all to celebrate in that fifth anniversary.
You got stuff planned for next week. When does it actually start?
So many things.
Next Monday, every single day, we've got different events,
classes, sales, specials going on where
people can come in,
create different items that are customized, and just...
Celebrate the store. Celebrate being here for half a decade.
And you had said this earlier on, too,
that this is a great place for gifts for people
because you do like to hear about the individuals,
their stories, what they need in their life,
what's lacking, but also how maybe they could improve
and evolve as well.
So all of that, we're going to try to do today here is Sienna Moon.
And by the way, Sienna Moon comes from...
We were looking at the sky over the lake,
and the moon was hanging right there, and
there was this beautiful orange color,
and my wife said, Sienna, Sienna moon.
There you go.
That works, and what a beautiful view that is out there as well.
Congratulations on your fifth anniversary, Grace.
i love crystals yeah that's nice all

Yeah, lean into that.
And that's what we're going to do today, too.
We're going to lean into some of the back meaning of the crystals.
We're going to see some of the classes,
if you will, the workshops that they have here.
But all to celebrate in that fifth anniversary,
you've got stuff planned for next week.

That works.
And what a beautiful view that is out there as well.
Congratulations on your fifth anniversary, Grace.
I love crystals. Yeah that's nice. All the colors and sizes.
Picking out the perfect crystal can feel
like searching for a hidden gem.
I know I don't know how to do it. Brian Cramp is in Pewaukee
this morning getting a tour of Sienna Moon
and learning how to find a crystal that's just right
for you. This is kind of an overwhelming process
because we have so many options, Cramp.
Yeah, there are so many options, too.
The best case is it's really you walk into Sienna Moon,
you grab a basket, and then you're
immediately supposed to do what?
Be drawn to something, right?
Yeah.
So I like to say, envision yourself like you're five
or six years old, and you think rocks
are really cool.
And then you're just going to walk around the store
and see what draws you in, like
what sparkles, what you're like, oh, I want to go and pick that up.
I want to touch that and see what it feels like.
And that's the way that I tell everyone to walk
into a crystal shop for the first time.
Just get curious and see what you pick up.
Well, I'm curious about this first table here because,
Grace, I mean, this is, I love this
crystal, which apparently is a very common one.
Yeah, so this is.
This is rainbow fluorite, and there's fluorite,
you can find it in a lot of different places
in the world, but this is some really gorgeous Chinese fluorite,
which is where some of the
best fluorite in the world comes from,
but what's cool about the properties of fluorite
is that it helps you connect your heart,
helps you connect your throat, your crown, so it's
great for focus, memory.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If my kids during COVID had a fluorite all over their desks
because they were so distracted all the time.
You can see I just put one in a basket.
It's great.
Focus, memory.
It's great.
Yeah, even adults need that in their lives too.
And then looking around the store,
it seems like you have hundreds, would I say?
Close to...
Maybe a thousand.
Maybe thousands.
Thousands of stones.
Hundreds of different types.
And then as we go across the store too,
I know earlier on you and I were talking about
this and kind of like what we would feel from,
I was not expecting to feel what I felt from
that particular crystal.
Yeah.
So we, we picked this up at Selenite
and we did something called Selenite combing where
you start at the top of your head
and you just kind of like comb down your energy if
you think of, yeah.
Yeah.
And when you did that to me, my response was, wow, I have.
The chills, almost like tingles,
and then you put it back and it was gone immediately.
And then I picked it up and I felt it immediately.
Is that one of those reactions that people get?
Yeah, so definitely.
And selenite is a stone that I think almost
every person in the world could use.
It helps you with clearing your energy.
So whether it's situational,
like there's just a lot happening in your life,
or there's just been a lot of people
around you, you've been up to a lot,
and you don't want to take all of that with you, right?
Right.
This is a great stone for letting some of that go people will even take
these put it over like their door frame going to their
bedroom they'll have this next to their bed,
and they'll just kind of like work with it and
Release and let things go.
And this is the reason why you're telling people
to come in like you're a five or six
year old and just be drawn to something,
to touch, to feel, to get, to engage, if you
will.
Because we don't have our preconceived notions of getting in our head.
So there is no true way to pick out that particular crystal or stone.
But I'll tell you what, Grace and the team here
at Sienna Moon can definitely help you
because as you see around the store, they have hundreds of different.
Types and they have thousands of different stones.
Fox local for more information, guys.
We're going to be here all morning long.
If you need to decompress from the stress,
this might be an opportunity for you.
They open up at 11 o'clock here in Pewaukee.
More Fox 6 Wake Up coming back after the break.
Well, if you are looking for a way to unwind,
one Milwaukee shop is turning up the good vibrations with an experience
that you can hear and feel. Brian Cramp is at Sienna Moon exploring
a different way to relax. Good morning, Brian.
I'm glad you said the vibrations too,
because that's one thing that you're immediately going to hear,
feel with the sound that's being created here.
These are, Grace, they're sound bowls?
Yep, singing bowls.
Singing bowls, okay.
Now when I look at them, it looks like just a giant pot.
But there's so much more than that.
I mean, the specifics of where this came from
and what it's made out of is just mind-blowing.
Yeah, so these are a special bowl set
that I just got a few months ago.
And they actually have meteorite,
there's moldavite, clear quartz, and platinum inside.
And so the outside looks wild and just beautiful.
It is beautiful.
And this has some lapis on top, making it blue.
But as you kind of play them...
The sound and the tone that rings out is wild
and these two are meant to play together.
They're just slightly different in hertz
to help create kind of the binaural effect
as we're listening to them and then this one just pops up a little bit.
You know, I used the word angelic, and you used the word galactic.
I think the two of them are spot on.
So when you have this happening here in Pewaukee at Siena Moon,
are there people sitting on the floor?
Yeah, so the whole room has yoga mats and comfy chairs we'll set up.
I have a ton of different sound equipment,
and I guide you through kind of tension-release meditation
to help you let go of stuff that you're coming in with.
Kind of sink into the floor,
sink into your chair or your seat, and then we just play.
Yeah.
Give you maybe a focus or an intention so that our brains don't just...
Go other places.
And if they do, that's okay.
It's funny that you said, you know, kind of like sink into the floor,
because I would imagine that people could be emotionally in a puddle
after going through a session.
It's a whole wide range.
People are either snoring and taking a nap on the floor,
or, you know, things will come up,
or they just leave feeling really blissed out or really relaxed.
And it's the whole spectrum.
But it's creating a space where people can get quiet
and listen to themselves
Or just...
Not think about things.
A healing bowl.
When's the first time that you saw one, heard one,
and then how did you start to learn how to play?
So when I first heard it, someone that we teach with here,
she was playing her bowls, and I remember thinking,
oh, wow, that's like a lot of sound
because it creates a really big noise when you're playing.
And then I have always been a singer
and been in music my whole life,
and I just got curious because it...
I wanted to sing with them.
Okay, well, you can go ahead and sing with them.
I want to just hear some more here.
When's your next class where we can join?
Oh, so next week, Saturday,
I am hosting an Angelic Vocals Sound Healing,
so I will be singing and playing the bowls,
and it'll be just like a beautiful, relaxing,
ooey-gooey experience.
Just like today.
Yeah.
Beautiful, relaxing, and ooey-gooey as well.
Yeah, go ahead and play a little bit here
as we talk it out.
Fox Local for more information, guys.
Pewaukee celebrating their fifth anniversary here and Grace is
gracefully playing the healing bowls and it sounds wonderful in here.
I feel like I feel the vibration, right?
I'm not even there.
Through the screen.
Have you ever taken a sound bath?
Um, no.
No, what about you?
This season brings a new chance for a fresh start,
and Sienna Moon is putting a little self-care into a box.
Brian Cramp is unpacking a seasonal surprise
that's filled with creative ways to slow down, reset, and recharge.
Hi, Cramp.
Hey, we all need that, too, right?
All of those three things.
I would imagine after a day like today, we're going to have to...
So slow down, reset, recharge, like Nicholas said, too.
And this is a great way to do it because you don't actually need
to come in to get it because it can be sent to people.
It's a seasonal self-care box.
How long have you been doing this, Grace?
So I've been doing it for almost three years now.
Really? Okay.
Yeah, and it was all inspired by what we
were hearing people coming in and asking about at the store.
So how to take care of yourself, different habits to try on.
And it teaches you about seasonal living.
So looking outside, seeing what's happening in nature,
and then taking that and infusing it into yourself.
We're going to be taking pre-orders for the
winter box, but this box is our fall box.
Fall is all about, if we think of outside, the leaves are falling.
It's about...
Letting go and releasing the things from the year
so far that we don't need to take with us anymore.
Thank you.
I like that analogy.
I don't need to take this with me anymore.
I don't need to take that with me.
Let it go.
So how do we let it go?
Uh, there's some different practices that you can do to do that.
I see a notebook, too, so we can write in there?
Yep, so on the back, we have an entire,
like, digital classroom where there's, like,
a cacao ceremony that will take you through.
There's an intention candle.
There's a whole...
...process for letting and releasing things in the journal,
and then we do have guided
meditations, sound healings that we're recording ourselves
that are all here, and it guides
you through how to use the entire box,
so that it is yours, you get to get curious and
play with it, but it also,
we're giving you guidance every step of the way, and it gets
delivered to your door quarterly.
Okay, that's probably the best way to do it.
Or as a gift later on as we get closer to the holiday season here.
So we're expecting to find the crystals
and then some of your favorite products in there,
the self-care ideas, those rituals that you were talking about as well.
I guess if you're using the self-care box,
is this something that's going to go in a day,
in a week, in a month that you'll be done with it?
Or is it meant for the season?
So you can just dive in and do all
the videos at the same time if you want.
But the idea is that the practices that you're learning,
that might be something where you're doing that a couple times.
We're preparing ourselves because winter
is this season of rest and reflection.
Darkness.
Don't bring the darkness of winter.
So the self-care box in winter that has what?
Since we shed in fall.
Big grounding practices, especially with all the holidays.
There's so much going on that we can kind
of feel like we're all over the place.
And January, February,
it's giving you these awesome practices for connecting to yourself,
grounding, getting out of your head, and just relaxing your body.
All of that sounds wonderful.
After a chaotic time.
Gosh, I'm ready to shed.
I'm ready to look forward to that self-care box as well, Harry.
Ready to shed.
Ready to shed.
You can find them both here, actually,
in a couple weeks for the second one.
But, yeah, guys, Sienna Moon is celebrating their fifth anniversary,
and Grace is opening at 11 o'clock.
You can swing on by and see what they're all about.
All right.
I love that everyone's taking a moment for self-care.
I know.
I think we all need it.
Yeah, it is.
For sure.
It's very pretty stuff, too.
Got to have some inner peace when you've got some outer chaos.
I wouldn't go so far as to call today chaos.
Well, at Sienna Moon, there's always something new
to learn through classes and events, filling the calendar every month.
Brian Kram is finding out how this Pewaukee shop
is bringing people together through some unique experiences.
Hey, Brian.
Yeah, and Derica, too, they have some unique rooms as well.
You know, there's one room, of course,
that has all the crystals and then jewelry that you're making.
This room is what's called the library.
Yep.
I love it, too, with local artists as well as local artists
or authors, I should say.
Yep, we've got all kinds of cool things.
Your books, decks, journals, greeting cards, local artwork.
It's a fun little...
Look, this is a fun little place to be at as well.
As we go through, there's so many like nooks as well.
This room is the, which room? It's the smudging room.
So we have different herbs and incense and candles and oils and all
kinds of fun things that people come in for to burn in their homes.
shift the energy a little bit. This room smells wonderful.
It does smell really good. This is
the room that I was like, oh, what is that scent?
It's kind of the whole place. It's just infused
in the wall. All put together.
And then as you can see too, as we get going down, this room is
meant for what then? It's another classroom.
So more of the seated, maybe interactive or creative
classes happen there.
We have some practitioners and people who come and do private sessions.
Okay. And that's what this room would be for.
And when you're talking private,
Practitioners, that would be what type of work are they doing?
People will do like private sound healings,
different private breathwork sessions, Reiki sessions.
Oh, nice.
And then we do have a secondary room called the Serenity Room
that looks similar to this, but it's smaller.
And it's like a self-guided experience where you'll go through,
there's a crystal biomat, you can do sound healing for yourself.
Can we do numerology too?
There's numerology on the site.
As we get back here, obviously,
that's this little kitchen for you guys.
And then this room, I think, is new
because you had told me it's a pretty special place.
Yeah, this is the serenity room.
So you can come in and get your calm on.
There's a beautiful biomat underneath that's got PEMF.
Frequency is moving through it.
A couple dozen pounds of crystals on the bed that you actually lay on.
And then it's got infrared heat coming
through, so it's really relaxing.
And then there's all the different
sound tools and decks where you can...
Just carve out some time for yourself.
And then back here is where all of our major classes are.
So we have between 8 to 13 classes and events a month.
And there is something for everyone.
Yeah, and something for everyone can
be found at SiennaMoomCo.com as well.
It's your fifth anniversary.
Congratulations, Grace.
Yep, next week, something every single day.
To you, to Michelle, to the entire team, everybody that's here.
Five years, a long time to be a business.
And I'll tell you what, you guys
are doing a great job here in Pewaukee.
More boxing.
Fox 6, wake up, coming back after the break, guys.
And they're open by 11 here, by the way, in Pewaukee,
if you want to find some calm today as well.
