'I'm proud of her': Haley Stevens' mom champions daughter's decision to endorse Mike Rogers

I think Haley is, you know, is a person that lives her own values, and I just said to her today, I said, standing up for your values, living your values, sometimes is a risk, but it's never wrong. It's never wrong, and I say she's standing for her values, something that she's been raised to do. Some people were asking me... Oh, is her fiancé influencing her? My response to that is, have you ever met Haley? You know, have you ever met me? I mean, we're people that, you know, women have their own opinions. And, you know, so that's Haley. I am proud of Haley for standing up for her values, for standing up for her. You know, the Democratic Party, even though it feels like, oh my gosh, you know, you've done something bad, but, you know, I think history will say, you know, she's done something good for the party in that, look, take a look at yourself and look at what the values are and take a look at, you know, at standing for values and standing for the people of Michigan and for all the citizens of Michigan. Well, I, you know, I'm proud of her. I'm very proud of her. I've never heard, I haven't heard from you in 15 years. Now you're calling me up and saying Haley is dead to me. I mean, like, what the hell? You know, that's a, that's a awful thing to do. Why do you call up a mother and say that to her? You know, I mean, that that's unnecessary. And all that tells me is how, how people are so worked up. And so like, I don't know, you know, overly influenced by Things that are not. I don't know, not sensible and not real.
