This morning, a state lawmaker accuses
her political opponent of threatening her family.
Henry County Republican State Representative Noelle Cahan says she
and her husband filed a police report over
a post that her Democratic opponent...
Michelle White made. The Post reads, and I'm quoting here,
stop being a hypocrite, boss.
Let's see what happens election night. An image of the message,
which was provided by Representative Kahan,
also contained a screenshot of Charlie Kirk,
who was assassinated last year.
And Kahan went on to warn that heated rhetoric.
Fueled dangerous real-world attacks against elected
leaders across Georgia, called on White to apologize.
Now, White dismissed the allegations as, quote,
shameful and characterized them as a political tactic.
He also pointed to an alleged history of,
quote, Kahan doing things like this.
The two candidates are running for Georgia House District 81,
serving residents across Henry County.
A weekend of unrest.
