She Sent Her Body Love – and Her Life Changed

In 2014, Sasha’s life changed dramatically when she broke multiple bones and developed a severe concussion during a cycling accident. She also developed complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), a painful nerve condition that left her wheelchair-bound. Medications didn’t ease her pain, and Sasha’s doctors considered amputating her leg. But when she discovered Dr Joe’s book, “You Are the Placebo,” she became hopeful she could heal.
Determined to change her life, Sasha committed to a daily meditation practice. Instead of focusing on her pain, she sent love throughout her body and imagined how it would feel to live her dream life. She kept practicing, and within a year, Sasha was able to walk again. Five years later, she completed her first triathlon.
