Five finalists,
each vying to represent Canada on the Eurovision stage in 2027.
We'll be right back.
The world's largest live televised music competition.
You talk to me
Josiane, Rev, Talk, Tyler Shaw and William Cloutier,
flexing their skills and hitting
all the right notes, battling to earn
the thing they want the most, your vote.
And fans are eating it all up.
On Sunday, a lucky crowd in Montreal got
to witness the live concert in person,
while it was broadcast across the country on CBC and Radio-Canada.
A chance for Canadians to get a sense
of which finalist they want to represent them.
I can't believe we are finally participating.
I have no idea what I'm looking for.
Nothing I'm like...
All five of them blank slate.
People can vote once a day up to 10 times until November 5th
by going on CBC's Eurovision website.
Eurovision judge Sean Meyer says we're seeing history in the making.
But it won't be easy for the artists.
So you need something that's going to set you apart from the rest.
Maybe that's going to be wackadoodle staging.
Maybe that's going to be the most impressive vocal of the evening.
Artistry, he says,
Canada's five finalists have and are ready to show the world.
I have really good vision and creativity.
You have to become obsessed and I am that person.
I'm a funny guy and I'm gonna not let you down. Yeah.
I have this like underdog energy where I'm ready to like bring it all.
I'm always singing from personal experiences
so hopefully you can resonate.
Now comes the hard part for Canada.
Choosing just one.
