Mining analyst Jeff Clark argues that gold and mining stocks are currently deeply undervalued despite macroeconomic headwinds. He points to strong institutional and central bank demand and a historical correlation with the 1970s bull market as indicators of a potential massive price breakout, presenting a generational buying opportunity for investors.
Welcome to Thoughtful Money.
I'm Thoughtful Money founder and your host, Adam Taggart.
It's been a bruising couple of weeks for the precious metals.
Gold and silver prices are down now at their lows for the year.
They've been battered so much that many precious metals analysts
that I interview on this channel
are saying that not only do the price values
of the metals themselves look quite attractive down here,
but some, including Brian London,
say that the stock prices of the companies that mine them
Are now offering potential generational opportunities.
So I thought it might be a good idea to bring
in the bonus video that we shared at our recent
Thoughtful Money Fall Online Conference
and share it with you here publicly.
It's by Jeff Clark, mining analyst.
He runs goldadvisor.com, thegoldadvisor.com.
And in it, he shares his latest overview
of what's going on with the mining sector,
but shares his top mining stock picks right now.
So whether you're totally new to the sector and
want to learn more about it,
or whether you're an investor and are looking for companies to
go investigate at these lower prices now,
I think you're really going to enjoy this video.
Hi everyone, this is Jeff Clark of the Pater Prospector
and thegoldadvisor.com and this
is your bonus presentation,
your bonus video as part of Adam Taggart's Thoughtful Money
Fall Conference here in 2026.
I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you joined.
I've got a lot of what I hope is very useful
information for you today about gold.
Some things you may not be aware of. Some things
may be surprising. And of course,
we're going to talk about my favorite subject, gold stocks
and other metals as well. So we're going to get started.
I'm going to jump right into it here.
I'm going to share my screen
and you should be able to see it there, I believe. So
So there's a lot going on in the gold market right now, right?
And we need to talk about all this because it's affected
the gold market and our stocks.
As I say here, yields and dollars and hikes,
oh my, all this is going on.
And yet we're in a position where the gold stocks
and gold are really primed to resume another uptrend.
And I'm going to share with you why.
And and let me see if I can do this right.
There you go. So consider this.
The 10 year yield hit 5.35 percent,
the highest level in 24 years.
I think it's dropped slightly below that right now, but it's very high.
The highest it's been in over, like what,
almost two and a half decades.
The U.S. dollar gained 2% last month.
Doesn't sound like a lot, but that's a pretty big move for a currency.
And the U.S. dollar is up. It's strong.
The CPI, the Consumer Price Index,
the major gauge for inflation in the U.S. is up.
It hit 3.4% last month or earlier this month.
That's very high.
Year over year, that's pretty high,
obviously above the Fed's target of 2%.
We had an interest rate hike.
We had an interest rate hike
and the Fed Funds Futures says there's an 85% chance there will
be another hike coming as of the day I'm talking here.
So you have all of this going on and yet...
I want to show you some things why I am staunchly bullish on gold
and that behind the scenes,
under the surface, there's a lot happening,
a lot percolating that I believe is going to lead to
the next rise in our market and the next rise in our stocks.
Number one, gold has been rising
with yield since 2022. Look at this chart.
You can see through 2021, gold fell.
But since then, since the end of 2021,
the gold price on an annual basis
has been rising along with yields.
That's very unusual, but this is a trend. This has been going
on for, what, four years now.
We'll see how this year ends, but the point is...
The gold price is rising with yields that shows
that gold is very strong and that investors,
especially big investors in institutions,
et cetera, are very positive on the gold price
and they're buying.
Number two, central banks are still buying gold on a net basis.
We're going to have another banner year here by the end of the year.
You can see there in the bullet points, they've added 39 times.
That was up 70% from the year,
the month before and twice what it was a year earlier.
Net purchases year to date are on track to exceed what we saw in 2025.
And then look at the chart there on the right.
The yellow bars, this is a survey from the World Gold Council.
The yellow bars represent
Central banks that have said they're going
to increase their gold reserves over the next 12
months. This survey is about a month or so old.
The orange bars show that if they expect to
increase. And you can see it's gone up almost every year.
And this year, it's expects to be higher than 2025.
So central banks are clearly still buying gold.
And especially with the price down,
they're getting, you know, good value that that's
not lost on them.
But central banks are continuing to increase their reserves in gold.
That's significant.
And of course, we can't talk about central
bank reserves without talking about China.
Their gold buying is accelerating.
You can see there in the bullet point.
China has now bought gold for 23 consecutive months.
They'll buy again this month and it'll
be 24, it'll be exactly two years
that their purchases have been higher. They have over
$323 billion in gold reserves right now.
The chart there shows their purchases in tons.
And you can see, look what happened
in the most recent quarter, which is Q2 2026.
It jumped. It jumped even more than it has been.
Their purchases are accelerating in gold. That's
significant as well. They're obviously wanting
to diversify out of the U.S. dollar. Number four,
and I don't know if you've seen this, but gold ETFs,
this measures the inflows for them. Q3 data
That is just out, like a week ago.
And you can see from the inset.
Last quarter was the largest quarterly inflow into global ETFs,
not just U.S. or Canada.
On record, it's the highest ever.
It's the highest ever quarterly gold inflows into ETFs.
That's very significant.
Now, gold ETFs usually consist of a mix of institutional investors,
big investors, and
retail.
Silver ETFs is mostly retail.
But gold tends to be at least more significantly impacted
by and sees greater inflows from
institutional investors, fund managers, etc.
And you can see that in Q3, they bought more gold than they ever have.
They bought more gold ETFs, I should say, than they ever have.
That's significant.
So while all this is going on behind the scenes,
or this is all going on behind the scenes,
while we have in mainstream headlines
all these negative things that have, you know,
impacted gold, and yet look what's happening.
I really like this chart.
I've shown it before in other presentations.
This is updated as of this week.
Number five, we are tracking the 1970s.
The black line is the gold bull market
I'm going to work it from.
1976 through the peak in 1980,
the gold line is our gold price from when the gold bull market began,
in my opinion, leap year day in 2024 to present.
Again, this was updated just a few days ago. And you can see,
look how closely we are tracking that particular bull market.
As you can see in the inset, the correlation coefficient,
that statistic measures how closely two things match.
We're at almost 93% match to what happened in that bull market.
And that's pretty obvious by looking at the chart.
But that's a very high correlation for two assets.
Very high.
You can see what would happen next if we continue
to match that particular bull market.
We'll probably be flat for a little bit longer.
And then things are going to break out and take off again.
Excuse me.
If we continue to match that.
The gold price from its current level would have to more than double.
I mean, we're talking $10,000 gold.
And you can see the time frame there is only a year,
year and a half when this would happen.
Now, I'm not saying that's what's going to happen.
I'm just pointing out that we are closely aligned
with that particular bull market in history.
And that if we continue to match it,
the potential for the gold price itself
with major implications for gold stocks is very,
very high and very strong. Add all this up
Stop.
And...
and you have mining stocks that are the cheapest in 50 years.
This particular graph measures the
vertical axis there is free cash flow yield.
So the higher you are on horizontally, or excuse me,
The better off you are.
And the bottom axis, the horizontal one, is price to NAV.
So the more you are to the right, the more expensive your stock is.
The more you are to the left, the cheaper your stock is.
And look at the top three black dots.
Their estimates for 2026, 27, and 28,
they are the cheapest on record, projected to be,
and their free cash flow yield
is the highest ever since this has been measured.
So you have mining stocks
that are in a prime position for us to purchase.
They're deeply undervalued,
and yet their free cash flow yield is the highest in history.
This is very, very compelling for mining stocks.
Okay, has gold really broken out?
Um...
It's doubled since the bull market began.
And yet, in my opinion, the gold price hasn't really moved.
Because when you measure it relative to the NASDAQ.
It's near all-time lows in this ratio.
The higher you are in this chart, the more expensive gold it is,
the lower this line is,
the cheaper the gold price is relative to the NASDAQ.
We're still near all-time lows.
You can see the high there on the left,
the low in red where we are presently.
So the gold price relative
to the NASDAQ index has not really broken out.
In fact, it's got cheaper recently.
Meanwhile, mining stocks are still at their 2020 levels as we talk.
This was updated just this week.
This is gold stocks, GDX, or excuse me,
this is the HUI index relative to gold.
It is no higher now than it was back in 2020.
It's lower than it was in 2016,
lower than it was in 2011, lower than it was in 2003,
and obviously much lower than it was in 1979, 1980.
So relative to the gold price itself,
mining stocks as a group are extremely cheap.
They're at low, low levels.
They're deeply undervalued.
That, to me, spells opportunity.
I mean, do you think this is going to continue?
Or do you see potential here like I do and where this ratio could go?
Meaning, mining stocks would outpace gold itself.
I have some compelling charts
to show you about just how small our market is.
Mining equities are just 2% of global equities.
It's the smallest level in 55 years.
Now, the chart on the right, or the graph on the right,
measures the market cap of the mining industry,
$400 billion, relative to the market cap of the S&P 500.
You can see what a small portion it represents,
how small it is relative to the S&P.
Now, mining is always only a portion of the S&P 500,
but as of right now, it's smaller than usual. It's tiny.
This is how much cash there is on the sidelines,
global cash versus, again, the market cap of the
mining industry, which is $400 billion.
You can see there at the bottom, global cash,
as I think I grabbed this like a week or two ago, is $8.5 trillion.
$8.5 trillion in cash versus
$400 billion for the mining industry.
So just a small portion of the cash that's on the sidelines.
Coming into the mining industry would dramatically impact our sector.
Here you go.
Here's the biggie, the bond market.
The bond market is $127 trillion.
Again, the orange is $400 billion for the mining industry.
We had to actually pull that top part of the green circle away
so you could see the orange line.
It wasn't even visible in this chart.
The bond market is the big baby. That's where a lot of money is.
It's larger than the stock market.
What if some mainstream and Wall Street investors become
disillusioned with the bond market or they become,
you know, impatient with the...
60-40 portfolio that's underperforming.
60-40 portfolio has not performed since COVID.
It's underperformed.
Bonds have not protected you for market turmoil.
So what if just a small portion of people,
investors in the bond market,
decide they're going to put even just a small portion of their assets
into the mining industry?
Look how dramatic the impact could be.
And I think that's going to happen.
All right, let's get on to my favorite category, mining stocks.
We're going to talk about that.
Thank
As some of you may know that have seen me before, heard me before,
I like to invest in very specific categories.
And so I'm going to give you stock picks in each of these categories.
And I want you to be aware that each category has its own risk level.
you.
So you need to know your risk level
and you need to know what the catalyst is in that
particular category.
So as you probably know, number one is pre-discovery. This is your
highest risk. The catalyst is obviously making a discovery.
Number two is a pre-resource. This
is a company that's made a discovery,
but they don't have a resource yet. The big catalyst there
is the inaugural resource that could catch the market off guard,
excited or whatever,
or just they realize, oh, they made a discovery,
but now they have a real asset.
Because they've declared a resource.
That can be a nice catalyst.
And I have a number of picks in this area.
Number three is your resource builders.
These are companies that already have a resource.
So they're lower risk.
Because they're protected by the resource they already have.
The catalyst here is growing that resource.
And I don't mean by 10 or 20%.
I mean doubling or tripling the resource.
Something that's bigger than what the market expects.
And this is going to happen through drilling,
obviously, and you might need to be in.
Before all that drilling takes place,
because if the drilling is positive and strong and continues
to clearly show the asset is growing,
the stock is likely going to move up and market is probably
going to be buying it in anticipation of a bigger resource.
You want to be in before that. I have
some good stock picks for you in this category.
And then last is developers. These are companies
that are moving through the development process
and I want them to be close to a construction
construction decision.
That's key.
As you know, once a company declares a construction decision,
that begins the sweet spot where a company can
Build it out, and as they get closer to first pour,
the investors tend to get excited and buy the stock.
So I want companies that are de-risking, and importantly,
as I say, they're becoming increasingly attractive to a major.
They may never get to production.
Most of these companies won't on their own.
They're probably going to get bought out.
So what I want is a developer.
That can answer the most important question
for us as mining stock investors is,
is this going to be a mine?
That's the number one question.
So when you look at a company that's going into development,
is this a company that a major would want to buy?
Pretend you're the CEO of a major, of a senior producer.
What are you looking for?
Big and rich assets that are going to last
a long time in pro-mining jurisdictions.
If you have a company that meets that criteria, hold on to that one.
And if you don't, you might want to reconsider.
As I say, there are disclosures. I do own all these stocks.
They've been recommended at different
times. However, these are mostly new picks.
You'll see some names in here that are probably new to
you. Some of you may not have even heard of before.
And as I say, I hope you will consider
a subscription because a lot of these are behind the paywall
and you may not know if we sell a
stock. We don't wait around. If a company fails, we sell.
However, they may release growth results and the stock falls 20%.
You may not know what to do.
You may not realize we're actually buying more.
We're actually averaging down.
So again, I hope you'll consider a subscription.
It's not expensive.
All right. Here's our first category, pre-discovery plays.
I love these, but you have to be careful
here and you can't put all these, you know,
you can't fill your portfolio with just pre-discovery
plays. But I do like these. Number one is Bullfrog Gold.
This is a brand new company.
We just recommended recently. They own what we call the donor hole
between deposits that Kinross and AngloGold Ashanti own in Nevada.
Their project is surrounded by majors,
and they've got some prime property there in Nevada.
The first drill program is gearing up right now, as I talk.
It'll be started imminently, and then we'll look
at assays starting to come out before the year is over.
If they hit, it's clear
and obvious that they'll probably be bought out,
because either Kinross or Agnico are going to want it.
So I think that's what's going to happen.
For more
I personally own this stock. I'm overweight.
I invested in a private placement. I didn't say
information,
that there, but because I think the odds are good.
This is highly prospective property
and they probably will be bought out if they hit.
Number two is Sun Come Up Metals.
go to
You pronounce that like the sun is coming up, Sun Come Up Metals.
www.fema.org
This is also a relatively new pick for us.
They have two highly prospective copper gold properties
in the Solomon Islands. Now, if you look up in the Fraser survey,
you'll see that the Solomon Islands are rated very low,
very poor for political risk or high for political risk, whatever.
However, they are on the same trend as two giant deposits there,
one of which you'll hear is one of the world's largest gold operations.
It has over 71 million ounces of resource.
Of course.
And.
Pebble, the copper-gold giant that CEO John Florek,
the CEO of SunCome Up, says is still studied in textbooks
as a classic example of a world-class porphyry copper-gold system.
And SunCome Up is on the same trend as these two deposits.
So this is very compelling.
I like the CEO, John Florek.
I own several stocks that he is behind.
He started using AI at a prior company
before AI even became all the rage in the mainstream.
First assays are imminent.
So Sun Come Up is going to have assays here very soon.
So if you're interested in this one,
you might want to pick up shares sooner rather than later.
And of course, I own it.
Alright, here's some pre-resource picks for you.
So what I did here is, we have a lot of companies
in this category, but what I picked is ones
that are the most compelling, that are strong buys right
now, that if I didn't own any stocks, I would probably start here.
So these are all buys for me
right now.
First is Aro Metals.
This is a gold copper project in what is now mining-friendly Ecuador.
Ecuador did not used to be highly rated.
It was poorly rated in Fraser. We avoided it.
It's no longer a no-fly zone.
The government has become more mining-friendly. Now, we don't know
if we're going to stay that way in the next election.
If we catch hints they're not,
we're going to exit. But right now, they're positive and supportive.
Aro Metals has reported some spectacular drill results.
The last one there, you can see
over 905 meters of 0.6% gold, 0.12% copper,
almost a kilometer of mineralization.
And there's many other drill results they've had
that have been very, very positive.
The stock, if you put it at fair value, is at least $2 Canadian.
If you look it up, you'll see it's below that right now.
So this is still a buy.
They're still drilling.
There's going to be more results coming out.
I think they're going to prove something up here.
They've got a ways to go to get there,
but they've already made a discovery.
And it's clear that they're on to something here.
That's the point.
And as an aside, the CEO is the son of Rui Feng of Silvercorp Metals.
Some of you may know that company.
I've actually visited Silvercorp in China years ago
when I worked with Doug Casey.
But Rui Feng is the CEO there, very successful in the industry.
And his son is leading up Aro.
Silvercorp also owns some of Aro.
Number two, Cascadia Minerals. This is a new pick for us.
This is a company that is a copper gold explorer in the Yukon.
They already have a resource, but the historical drilling left much
of the deeper, higher grade sulfide stuff untested.
And so that's exactly what Cascadia is testing.
Drilling is ongoing. They've had positive drill results already.
If they continue to be successful,
we do think this stock is going to get a significant re-rating.
This is a buy for me now. We all own it at the company.
Number three, Getty Copper. I really like this company.
They just started drilling their BC project,
which is right beside, by the way, I don't even say this,
but it's right beside the Highland Valley Copper Mine.
Big, big, big asset, but their head grade is dropping.
And so Getty Copper,
the compelling thing here is that Highland may want that
because it would increase their grade going into the mill.
Anyway, it's the first significant drill campaign
in 30 years on this project for Getty Copper.
And they've already had strong hits.
Look at some of these, 184 meters of 0.37% copper, 68 meters of 0.8.
150 meters of 0.7, 103 meters of 0.9, 80 meters of 0.8.
These are very strong hits.
They're clearly on to something.
They've made a discovery.
They're going to be working toward a resource at some point.
This is a strong candidate for me.
I'm overweight this stock.
We've been buying it.
I think it probably gets bought out if they continue to show success.
Okay, number four is Rackla Metals.
I don't know if you know this company, but this is a company
that's drilling a tungsten project that is high grade, and this project
is getting drilled for the first time in 44 years, several decades ago.
A company drilled this off, declared a resource,
and the CEO, Simon Ridgway, realized, holy
crow, we've got a tungsten project here.
They were originally drilling for gold, but this is a tungsten project.
And what Rackla is currently working toward is confirmation
and expansion of that historical
resource.
And if so, we think that's going to spark a re-rate.
We're buying this now. I just bought my first tranche.
I'm bidding right now a stink bid for
a second tranche. So this is a good buy for us right now.
The stock is down, so excellent entry
point. Number five, Sunpeak Metals.
This is a gold copper explorer with prime ground in one of the
The world's most underexplored
but geologically proven mineral belts in...
Saudi Arabia has been an about-face and over
the past few years has become very pro-mining and very supportive
of the mining industry and foreign miners working in there.
Sunpeak is an early mover.
They have several projects in Saudi Arabia. They're in a rare
position to really benefit from that.
They've made a discovery, but they're still drilling
right now. They're drilling multiple projects as we speak.
Assay results are going to be ongoing.
I like this. We bought it after we recommended it,
and I'm overweight this stock.
Number six, Pacifica Silver.
Some of you that know me know I like this company. This is a
silver explorer in Mexico that has a legitimate shot
to outline a significant silver gold resource
near Durango. I have been to the project.
I was there earlier this year in the summer.
So I know how prospective this is.
I know how big the property is. All the analysts that came back
I wrote it up and recommended the stock.
And they have an all-star management team,
an all-star board, and their investors include
First Majestic Silver, Silver Court Metals,
Vizsla Silver, and Eric Sprott.
So clearly some other silver companies think
there's potential here and they want to be in.
There's going to be ongoing news here.
There could be some significant news coming up.
I don't know when, but I think you want to watch the news.
This was one of my biggest investments in 2025 last year.
So I'm definitely holding on.
The stock is down given the recent weakness in silver.
Great entry point.
So watch the news.
This is one I'd buy right now.
Okay, let's get on to resource builders.
Again, these are companies that already have a resource
and we're believing
that they could significantly increase that resource.
That's the thesis here.
First up is A2 Gold. This is one I've liked from last year.
This is one of the few juniors working in Nevada
with a legitimate shot to prove up a multi-million ounce gold deposit.
Now, there's a lot of explorers in Nevada,
some that have a resource like at a million ounces
or they're trying to get to a million ounces, something like that.
A2 Gold is already there, and we believe that...
The next resource could be two
or maybe even three million ounces that'll really catch the
market off guard
and it'll make them very attractive to majors in the area in the state
that want to add ounces. This is a high caliber team.
They've made numerous discoveries before.
One of the people behind the scenes
with this has built a billion dollar company before.
Ken Ross and Eric Sprott have both invested in A2 Gold.
I'm overweight the stock.
The stock has fallen off here in the recent sell-off for gold.
It's at its lows, maybe one or two-year lows.
So it's at a good entry point.
This would be a very strong entry point if you're interested in this.
Again, I'm overweight in stock.
Number two, Banyan Gold.
Is this Yukon's next gold mine?
It probably is.
They've got a whopping 8.6 million ounces of gold already.
They're right next door to Hekla.
They have infrastructure, they have permitting,
they have a mining engineer running everything,
and they're continuing to drill this thing out.
Drill results are ongoing. In my opinion, Banyan
is a top buyout candidate,
so I think this is a strong reason to own it. It has had a run recently
over the past year, so watch for a down dip to buy,
but this is one I would definitely own.
And then number three, this is a new pick for us,
brand new, just came out last month,
Mackie Gold and Silver.
They own a legendary Nevada gold silver district. They've consolidated
all of these projects and properties
that have multiple owners all into their company. So there's
one owner now that's consolidated all this property
that's made it suddenly more attractive.
There are two drill programs going on right now.
So they have two shots on goal.
This is a superior board.
If you want to look on their website,
there's a very strong board behind this company and
strong investors.
So they're drilling right now.
There will be results continuing to come out.
This is an overweight position for me.
And then last, developers. First is Nucor Gold.
This is a gold explorer and developer in Ghana.
Now, Ghana is interesting.
It's been ranked consistently as the top pro-mining jurisdiction
in Africa, even better than South Africa.
As some of you may know, they did recently
They institute a tax regime, a royalty that they want on producers.
So we calculated that it would add up to about,
for Nucor, about $150 all-in-sustaining cost.
It would add that much to the all-in-sustaining cost
for Nucor if they were to go into production right now.
So it's not a deal killer.
We don't like it, of course, but it doesn't kill working in Ghana.
They're still pro-mining otherwise.
Um, Nucor Gold has a large drill program underway.
So we have drill results continuing to come out.
They've been consistently positive.
The stock is undervalued if you look at the NAV based on
its current footprint,
and yet there's more upside to that footprint coming. So the stock
is definitely undervalued.
Um, in my opinion, this stock will be bought out sooner or later.
Uh, there's, they're not going to develop it themselves
and they're on to, they have a resource.
This is something that has a strong price to NAV on it already.
They have a PEA coming.
So this is a positive company
that's making strong progress in Ghana that you might want
to consider adding to your portfolio
because other producers in the country are going to
find this attractive.
So I'm not saying it's going to be bought out next week.
It won't.
But at some point, you know,
some producers are going to come along and want this.
And that's a big reason to own it and just hold on to it.
Number two, Grand Portage.
They are working in Alaska, developing the Herbert Gold Project.
They just found out that they were made an official, quote,
covered project in the Fast Track program in the U.S.
You may have heard of this.
This is really Fast Track programs.
Grand Portage has been identified and accepted into that program.
So this is a very positive
and pro-development move for the company.
They have an indicated resource of 1.4 million ounces,
and you can see the grade there is strong.
Inferred, over half a million, another strong grade.
The recent PEA, look at this.
Had an after-tax NPV, net present value,
of $721 million at $3,200 gold.
If you put that at $4,000 gold,
you're looking at close to or at a billion-dollar project.
And yet the current market cap this morning,
today as I talk, is just $55 million.
So there's clearly a cheap disconnect between this.
Now, that disconnect is going to come closer together.
It's going to shorten as it goes through the process
because they're not going to be in production anytime soon.
It's going to be 2030, maybe 2031 before the first gold pour.
They probably won't do it, though.
They're probably going to be bought out by somebody who wants this.
And because they're continuing to drill it as well,
we're continuing to develop it and de-risk it.
But that disconnect in the stock price is going to decrease,
meaning the market cap of this stock is going to grow over time
and come closer to matching a billion dollar asset.
So that's a reason to consider owning this stock.
I really like them and I think the stock is cheap right now
and I think that's one you might want to consider.
So there you go. There's my stock picks for this edition.
I want to let you know about a new
mining stock newsletter that we just launched.
It's called Pater Discoveries. It's very exciting.
And the reason we launched this is because we're looking at gold
and silver, a little bit of
copper and uranium, but we're looking around
at other mining stocks and realized
Hey, we're missing out on some other opportunities.
Just because it's not a gold company doesn't
mean there aren't other mining opportunities
out there.
And so we wanted to capitalize on those and share those with you
because if we buy a stock,
we're going to put it in the newsletter
or we'll put it in the newsletter and then we'll
buy it.
Anyway, you can see we're going to cover there at the bottom,
copper, uranium, base metals,
critical metals.
That's where some of the stocks I just mentioned are going.
So this is very exciting.
I hope you'll consider joining us.
There's our new motto at the top.
We do mining stocks and nothing else. That's all we do.
That's all we do. So if that interests you, we focus on one thing.
We try to do it the best we
can. I'm not focusing on oil. I'm not focusing on the S&P.
We do mining stocks and that's all
we specialize in and all we focus on.
And we have many ways for you to strike paydirt in this sector.
You'll see there on the left, we have two free letters.
You can sign up at thegoldadvisor.com and just look
at under portfolios for Gold Advisor or Silver Advisor
Those are free letters.
We treat those just as we do the pay letters.
We report on them, cover their news and other things.
And they're free.
You can follow along with us.
They're stocks that we own.
We have to, it has to be a stock we would own
or we will not include it.
We have four premium letters,
one that focuses on gold, Peter Prospector,
one that focuses on silver with our silver guru, Peter Kraut.
Base energy metals, that's what Peter Discoveries is all about,
and for those of you who are high
net worth, we have a financing
or a premium letter that focuses just on private placements. We're
very active there. I invest actively in those,
so if you're high net worth, you might want to
look at that. We also have two books.
Pater, there's my book there on the right.
You can buy it on Amazon.
If you go on our website, you'll see a tab for books.
Click on it and you can read the sample chapter for free,
The Scariest Mine I've Been In.
If you're claustrophobic, you have hereby been warned.
So a very interesting introduction to the book.
And you can see if you like it, if you think it's for you.
And then Peter Kraut has a book as well that focuses solely on silver.
So we have a lot of resources.
We are here to capitalize on the bull market in the metals
and mining industry.
That's all we do.
And we are here to capitalize on it.
We own a lot of these.
We own a lot of stocks.
You can pick and choose what you want, what you like best.
So I hope to see you join us.
If you'd like to contact me,
you can go on the website to the Contact Us tab.
Write an email, our admin will see it
and it'll get to me
and I do respond to personal emails.
Okay, so there you go, everyone.
I hope you found this useful
and we'll see you on down the road.
Thanks.
Well, a big thanks to Jeff for...
So generously sharing his expertise
and those specific companies that he's interested in.
Obviously, if you'd like to go investigate all
of them, none of these are personal.
It's not personal financial advice, folks,
but these hopefully give you a list of companies
to go out and explore and research
if you're interested in increasing your exposure to
this space.
If you're new to this space,
as I'm sure you understand about these stocks, they are
highly volatile.
There's a lot of risk involved.
And I highly recommend that you...
Don't just sort of stumble into this new space
and learn by the school of hard knocks.
I think you should be following the guidance
of a good expert, which is why I had Jeff
here on the program, so that you can look through
the eyes of somebody who does really
nothing full-time except study this space.
But also, there's a lot of key questions to ask,
like, well, if I'm going to invest in
mining stocks, what percent of my portfolio makes sense
to put into a space that has this
much risk in it?
Are there potential hedging techniques I can
use against some of this space so that if
it goes against me, I've got some downside protection?
To answer those questions,
I highly recommend most of you watching this work under the guidance
of a good professional financial advisor
who is familiar with the gold mining space.
If you've got a great one, great.
Stick with them.
But if you don't and you'd like a second opinion from one
who is, consider talking to one of
the financial advisory firms that Thoughtful Money endorses.
These are the firms you see with me
on this channel very frequently to set up one of those
discussions, which are totally free,
just fill out the very short form at Thoughtful
money.
And the firms will be in touch with you right away.
And as a reminder, these consultations are totally free.
There's no commitments involved.
It's just a service they offer to be as helpful
to as many regular investors like you as possible.
And lastly, as I mentioned, this was the bonus video
from Thoughtful Money's Fall Online Conference.
There is still over 13 hours of amazing content from that event.
Still very fresh and more relevant than ever now
that the markets have had a pretty battering week
for almost every asset class over the past two weeks or so.
If you didn't attend the conference and wishing that you had,
you can simply just go to thoughtfulmoney.com
slash replay and buy the replay versions there now.
All right.
Hope you found all this helpful, folks.
Thanks so much for watching, and we'll see you next time.
