TCU's defense saves the day again

Well, that's one way to get a win. After falling behind 13-0 at halftime, TCU stormed back to shock Kansas 22-16 on Holloway here at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Look, guys, that first half was rough. There were boos, fire Sonny Chance, fans in brown paper bags. Sonny Dice himself caught that performance in our first half, pathetic offensively. But once again, as we talked about all year, this defense, top-ranked scoring defense in the Big 12, number six nationally. Came up when it mattered most, with a pick six from senior linebacker Max Carroll, another forced turnover, multiple goal line stands. Simply put, without this defense, TCU's offense wouldn't have had a chance to storm back what they did. The offense deserves a little credit. They rushed for 145 yards, the most against an FBS opponent. I know, I know, but still, they showed progress. Jaden Craig deserves a ton of credit as well, too, rushing for a career-high 87 yards. Literally put the team on its back. Look, is it still a flawed team? A flawed offense that is still struggling to score points. But with this defense, TCU will be in every ball game. It'll be in for the rest of the way.
