Weight Loss Progress : Week 2 & 3
Oct 30, 2026
Hello, hi everyone, this is my week three.
I hope you can read it backwards, I'm not sure.
Hello.
Yeah, sorry I haven't done an update in a while.
I actually have been really, really busy, but then
last few days I've been really sick.
I don't know if you can still hear my voice, it's the ill, but
I'm just gonna wait a few minutes, it'll come on,
and then once you're all on here, then we're gonna
We're going to start chatting and hi everybody who's joining in, hey.
Say hello, tell me where you're watching from.
I'm just making sure I can read your comments,
so I'm just going to click here so I can see everybody.
Hey buddy!
So yeah, this is my week three.
Well, this video will be about my week two and three.
Hi Bashir, hi guys, hello.
Hi Suzanne from California, hi.
I'm not as, I'm not as like, um...
Well, as I usually am so but I really wanted to do a quick update.
Hey guys. Thanks for the heart. Hi Nadia. Hi Nisa.
Okay, so as all of you know, I've been in Latvia week two
and then last week, week three, I was in the UK in London.
Hi John, how you doing? Let me know guys where you're watching from.
It's evening time now in UK which is 6pm so I wanted to do a later time
so most of you can actually see the live video which would be good.
Yeah, so I had pretty difficult week, week two,
so I was at home and I was eating a lot
of homemade food, but I did manage to run every single day,
so I was running every day,
I was doing my training every day, so that was good.
Let's get started.
Now week three, which is this one,
has been really bad, not the one that I've started
just now, because I'm kind of doing them with a delay,
thanks for the hearts, I'm doing
I'm doing them with the delay.
I had a really bad week so recently, I don't know,
it probably relates more to ladies than men
but it was that time of the month and I was craving a lot of chocolate,
I was craving a lot of sugar so it was really difficult for me.
I literally kept eating dark chocolate every day
and then it would turn into something else
and then basically I wasn't really following the healthy lifestyle.
Hi Yanis, hello.
Hello.
So, it was pretty difficult.
I did still train, but maybe not as much as I should have.
But yeah, but so far I have some good news.
So, I've been doing this for three weeks
and I've lost a total of two kilos.
And two kilos is, I don't know, in pounds.
If you know in American pounds,
let me know so I can tell others because I have no idea.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, so I'm feeling very good.
Um...
Hey, peaceful religious life.
Hey Brett. Oh, so that's 4.5. I don't know how to say it.
LBS. Oops. I really don't know how to say it in American
because we only use kilos in English and in Latvia.
So yeah, so I lost two kilos or 4.5 LBS.
Sorry guys, you see, I don't even know how to say it, because
obviously it's different measurements for me in Latvia.
So I think that's pretty good progress in three weeks.
You know, it's nice and slow, so I'm hopefully losing fat.
Hey, I'm your fan from Germany,
like your cooking and baking, thank you!
Thank you!
Um, yeah, abbreviation for pounds, good to know.
Hi Liam Duffy, thanks, thanks for letting everyone know.
Um, yeah, so it's pretty good, you know, it's very slow,
it's a lot slower than what I would usually get
if I did like a crash diet or something really quick.
But I've been, I've been kind of reading a lot,
doing a lot of documentaries and I'm actually doing something crazy.
So my sister and her boyfriend.
I decided to do a vegan challenge for two weeks
and as you know my channel is not vegan at all.
I do have some vegan recipes,
I do have some raw food recipes but I decided to do a raw vegan
challenge with them. That doesn't mean that my channel
is going to do that so you'll still see
all my Russian and Eastern European recipes
which I'm going to post all the time because
You know, that's why you like it, guys.
Exactly.
Lots of lava cakes are coming up.
I've made loads of amazing creations.
Some of your suggestions, some of my suggestions.
So I've got some exciting videos coming up.
I'm
But yeah, if any of you are vegans, let me know
because I'm doing this challenge first time.
So it'll be really exciting.
Oh, Catherine, thank you.
Thank you.
Hey.
Some message is coming.
I stay away from oil, bread and sugar.
I drink more than two liters a day.
Yes, definitely.
So just a few tips from obviously following
sort of the healthy eating.
I try and drink a lot of water.
Some of you probably have seen before.
So this is my lemon water.
So I just drop a couple of lemons in there
and I just like it nice and fresh, a bit of lemony
and it fills you up, it feels refreshing
and it's definitely just kind of keeps you
really hydrated so make sure you drink
that water if you don't drink enough water
So,
sorry to mention this but you can you can kind of see this by your pee
if your pee is clear that means you you're drinking enough water
and sometimes a lot of the time what i've
been reading now online and just watching
a lot of documentaries and sometimes we feel hungry
when we actually are thirsty so
When I feel hungry now, I just drink a lot of water
and then I see if I'm still hungry.
And most of the times, I'm not lying, the hunger goes away.
So it's that kind of habit of, you know,
snacking and munching and stuff like that.
So, yeah, that's definitely my tip.
I haven't run as much as I wanted to because it's still hard for me.
But I'm doing still my three times I'm exercising, you know.
Three times a week for sure, and then I try and walk as much as I can.
How about green tea?
Yes, I do drink green tea as well.
I'm a bit lazy with green tea or any other teas.
I try and drink it often, but, you know, like, spring is coming.
To be honest, it's a really depressing spring in London.
It's, like, grey and miserable, so tea would be nice.
I'm
But, yeah.
I think, yeah, drinking green tea, drinking lots of water,
also mint tea is really good for ladies, so girls, if you kind of want
to balance your hormones and you want to feel better, drink mint tea
or chamomile tea because it makes you feel just kind of nice and calm
and relaxed, so, yeah, I'm a bit still sick, so I apologize for that,
but I really wanted to do a video for you guys.
Catherine, how do you make vegan lasagna?
There's loads of recipes online for vegan food,
so I have actually done a bit of research
and I'll be doing some desserts
because I think a lot of the times,
you know, I'll show you next time when I go live,
probably this weekend or something,
I'll show you like a delicious vegan dessert,
which me, my sister and her boyfriend will try.
Bye.
Yeah, vegan lasagna with aubergines is super delicious,
healthy, there's zucchini lasagna,
there's a lot of food.
It's all about being creative in the kitchen,
so I think I'm going to experiment for the
next month or so, and if I find that it works for me,
that I feel better, then I'm definitely
going to share some maybe healthier summer recipes,
easy, healthy vegan recipes for everybody
who wants to maybe trim for the summer,
look a bit better and eat a lot of vegetables.
So hi Elizabeth, I love your recipes, thank you!
Yeah, so I get a lot of pictures and messages from you guys pretty
much every day, how you've made my recipes, so I do, do love that.
Please don't ever stop.
Always send me your things and love seeing it. Thanks, Mix.
London and Germany had the same grey boring weather. Yes, I know.
So another tip I'll give you.
So when it's kind of grey and getting cold and dark,
one thing that you can do is make a homemade soup.
So I've done a few lives before
and I have a whole playlist on my YouTube channel
where you can make a lot of healthy green or vegetable soups.
They're so easy to make. I'm not joking.
15 minutes, you just throw everything in, you boil it for 15 minutes
and you blend everything together.
So really healthy, really filling and yeah, just amazing for your hair,
amazing for your nails, amazing for your skin, just nice and healthy.
Yeah, definitely. So yeah.
I try and eat a lot so I still haven't done a video what I eat
in a day. I was planning to do it but I didn't realize how difficult it
is to record myself every single kind of like meal and what I eat
and what I do. So I promise you I'll do it tomorrow.
I'm going to record but it's all going to be just healthy
breakfast stuff that I eat every day and you'll see how much I eat.
I also post everything on Instagram,
stories and Snapchat, so just now I had a massive
bowl of vegetable salad with broccoli and zucchini,
and that was about 500 calories,
with healthy hummus and nuts, so it was really, really good.
So, one of the girls saying the way she's living in Germany,
it's nice and sunny.
So, I guess it depends which part of Germany you are.
Yeah, broccoli soup is really good.
So, one of my favorite soups is broccoli soup,
asparagus soup, tomato basil soup.
Oh my God, it's like amazing.
So, I have to make this soon.
Thank you very much.
So yesterday, I haven't actually put that on any social media,
but I was trying out a new recipe and I made aubergine coconut curry.
I'm going to show you.
I'm going to put it into a little pot
because it's just easy to serve and also I'm doing like
it might not look that nice
but you can see it's got carrots and aubergine and
so I've added some chilies in here,
some ginger, garlic and onion and turmeric and
I've been reading a lot about turmeric
and they use a lot of turmeric in India
and Sri Lanka so it's really healthy for you,
really good for you and of course
Of course, I've got some fat.
Like reduced coconut oil as well, which is really, really yummy.
Coming.
And I serve it.
I'll show you what I use it with.
So I actually got these in Thailand when I lived there.
And they're called bean vermicelli.
Okay, so these are basically they have no gluten.
They have no dairy.
They're basically amazing.
They really don't have even a lot of calories.
So this whole package, it doesn't look that big.
They just look like this. I don't know if you guys can see.
I have actually opened one. I'm going to prepare in a bit.
so they look just like that you see
so they're just like really really delicious
sort of similar to like a glass noodle
or um something that you find in obviously asian cuisine
I don't know if you can see.
um yeah so they're really filling very healthy
and the whole packaging only has 150 calories
so they're perfect with any sort of um stews
and soups and curries it's amazing
I like your London shirt, I live in London.
Oh, Catherine, awesome.
Well, you have to come to one of my supper clubs to try the food.
Yeah, stir fry and soups, they're really, really healthy.
So basically...
The main thing that I'm going to try this week,
I'm going to eat a lot of calories,
so I'm still sticking to roughly 1,800 to 1,600 calories a day.
And I'm eating a lot of vegetables and a lot of stews
and nuts and everything that kind of fills me up.
So yeah, it's been good.
And I'm losing weight really slowly, but at least it's effective.
I will show you all the pictures
because I'm taking pictures I just don't want to
post them yet because I kind of want
to see what result I get because it is a
bit embarrassing.
Also something I want to talk about is my skin so again it's
slightly embarrassing
but I'm sure a lot of a lot of girls and men and women
experience this but I don't know
if you can see it I've got some makeup on but
my skin has gotten a lot worse in the last sort of six months.
Hello, hello!
And you know, I kind of went to the doctors
and I was told that it's mainly because I eat too much dairy and
too much meat
so
you know i wasn't really happy with it
so obviously doing this vegan challenge as well i
just want to see if my skin clears up if i feel better
but generally i'm i've been lactose
intolerant since i was like 18
so i'm not really allowed to eat dairy but you guys know how much i
I love cheese.
Oh god, you know how much I love cheese,
so I've got a lot of cheesy recipes and I love cheese,
so it's something that I'm trying to come to terms with at the minute
and see if I can really give up my cheese, but I'm trying, I'm trying.
I found a recipe today for vegan cheese and it looked interesting,
so I might give it a go and I'll let you know
if it's anywhere near as tasty as the cheese that I usually buy.
Thanks, Catherine.
Try avocado, it makes me feel full
and gives you healthy fat and also good for skin and hair.
Yes, I know, I know, definitely.
So, I have avocado, I include it in my smoothies,
so every morning I have...
i've told you before but i actually discovered like
another amazing smoothie that i've been making
um today yeah exactly although you're saying cheese is not good for you
i know for sure like cheese is it's
so good but it's not good for you so i try
i'm gonna try and not eat that like i
find it really easy to give up milk and
yogurts because i don't really drink them
so i replaced it with almond milk
And soy milk, which is, you know, just as amazing.
And I can't really taste the difference in a smoothie.
So, yeah.
Yeah.
Hi, Nick.
Love you too.
Do you use green tea leftover for skin?
No, I have never tried that.
Maybe I should, but I can see how that probably will calm you down.
Another tip I want to give you for your skin.
So I have taken some chamomile tea
so the real chamomile tea where you actually have the flowers
and I've put it into this kind of jug just normal jug
and I've added some hot water and I let it
stew for about 10 to 15 minutes
and then I put that into the ice cubes. Now that ice cube is
a chamomile tea ice cube
which I wipe my face every single morning and that is the secret.
So a nice, healthy, sort of young-looking skin.
Because when you wipe your face with cold ice every morning,
then it's going to kind of perk up and look really, really fresh.
And it hopefully will make you look younger as well.
A few messages coming through.
Hi from Suriname.
Hi, Josh B.
Hi, Byron.
Hey, darling.
I'm falling.
Hi, Jackie from Mexico.
Hey.
Yes, peppermint tea is amazing, Catherine.
It's one of my, so we call it mint tea,
but I think peppermint tea is just the same thing.
Yeah, try green tea ice cubes.
They could work as well.
Since I lost weight and tried to eat more veg,
I lost 10, my skin was bad, but now all is good.
When you're cleaning your body and losing
weight, your skin will change to better.
Yes, for sure.
So that's something you might experience
when you change your diet, especially...
So one thing I want to do, obviously, while I'm still doing
the challenge, I'm trying to cut out all the sugar.
Even though my channel is not about that, just because I'm doing
it doesn't mean that people can't enjoy my delicious cake.
um so everyone else like all my family
and friends they can enjoy yummy cakes for me at the minute
i'm gonna try and stick to this plan um just
because i want to get healthy for now and then
i'll be able to eat this you know from time
to time um chamomile tea i'll show you what
is chamomile tea hang on i think i had some oh
no i don't have any more left
no sorry guys i was going to show you
but i actually don't have any more chamomile tea left
I thought I did, but I don't, unfortunately.
But yeah, because I think I used it all for the face.
I don't know how to say this.
Yeah, so for morning, so that's just my face routine.
I'm doing like a full face routine and healthy food, a lot of veggies.
I've been forced, okay, I've been forced to share, so Gabe
is saying I've been forced to share a flat with a guy who I can't stand
and what I can't eat and I'm very sick of traditional matzo balls.
Any easy trick to spice them up?
I'm not sure what is a matzo ball. Is that like mozzarella
or I don't know if anyone else knows what a matzo ball is.
Um...
Catherine, is there a cupcake recipe that I make
with soy milk instead of normal milk?
Yeah, there are a lot of, sorry, there are a lot
of vegan healthy recipes which are, look, they look amazing, okay?
I'm not going to say they are amazing because I haven't tried them,
but I have, sorry, been doing a lot of research today.
And I'm going to try some recipes.
In fact, one of my best friend's birthday is coming up this Friday.
So I'm going to make her a healthy vegan chocolate fudge cake.
Now, it sounds and looks incredible.
I don't know how it tastes.
And I'm coughing now, sorry.
Oh dear.
I'm still ill, so.
Oh dear.
Oh okay.
Jesus.
I hope you will make some tasty vegan recipes for us to try.
Yeah.
Sorry. I will try
and make some vegan recipes for sure.
Sorry, I missed some comments while I was coughing.
I'm laughing.
Hi Norm, I love your channel. Thank you.
What time is it in London? It's 6pm, 6.36.
Yeah, and what's my favorite non-dairy milk?
So at the minute, I really like almond milk and sweetened.
It's my favorite favorite favorite milk of all time. So, um,
but like I said, I'm not a big fan of rice milk or soy milk so much,
but I do like the almond milk and you can also make it at home.
But because it costs so much to buy almonds, I don't really
The, um...
See a point in making your own
when you can get the same version even better in a supermarket,
which their costs are a bit lower than yours.
Um,
Soy milk is great for hand skin.
Just look at the Asians.
They drink a lot of soy milk.
Eat tofu and drink soy milk.
Thank you very much.
Tofu is something that I've ordered online just now.
I've ordered five different...
To see if I like tofu at all.
I've never really eaten it before, so if I find some amazing recipes
and I try it, I will definitely post it for some of you guys,
especially if you're watching this and you're interested.
I'm interested.
Hi, Johnny! Hi, everybody!
Um...
The nut milk, unfortunately, is not high in protein,
but it's still got a lot of protein.
I would say don't worry about so much about all your calories
and worry about like you know
how many proteins and how many stuff you have
and everything because the main thing for you
you need to know is you need to eat a lot of vegetables okay
so vegetables should be about
80% of your plate and then you should have some protein
and some lean fish or some lean meat
Or whatever you might be eating.
Low-fat cottage cheese is a really great alternative,
especially if you're living in any Eastern European countries.
Hey, Jake.
I'm starting to speak.
Yes, I would definitely advise that.
Byron, cherry lava cake.
I haven't been filming because I've been ill.
I actually did my first pop-up restaurant in London over the weekend,
so I got a bit sick because I was running around outside for two days.
Please.
And the weather was like cold and hot, so as soon as I kind
of was sweating, then I got back in and I was really hot.
So.
So, Korean cuisine, yeah, you know,
I just watched a documentary about...
About the healthiest countries in the world and did you know guys
that the most healthiest country in the world is Iceland?
So in Iceland their diet is the best.
They have the lowest rate of any heart disease of any diabetes
Basically, they never get sick
and then Italy like their specific place in Italy. I forgot the name
They have the longest living people in the world. So the average age of
Well, dying is 81 years old,
comparing to Europe where it's 60, sorry, yeah, 62.
So they eat, their diet basically consists of fresh caught fish,
a lot of vegetables,
a lot of natural ingredients,
things that we don't have anymore in supermarkets.
And I strongly strongly strongly very strongly recommend
you read everything you buy. Just look at the back.
If it has thousands of ingredients then it's not healthy for you.
So whenever I look at the back of the packs you know
as soon as it has any fructose, glucose, corn sugar,
syrup all of that stuff that's really bad for you.
This is what causes cancer,
this is what causes a lot of issues and health stuff.
So...
Definitely just read the labels.
It should just contain a few ingredients, a few natural ingredients.
If it doesn't, just make it at home.
Just make it at home yourself.
It's so much better for you.
You know what you're putting inside
and that's what you're going to get out of it.
What's the best thing about tofu?
I don't know.
You know what?
I don't know yet.
I will find out and let you know
because it's going to be an experience for me.
Do you like wasabi?
I definitely like wasabi.
It's something that I like sushi, so I like wasabi.
I love you.
Okay, you love my name, thank you.
Thank you.
Yeah, you can read it backwards as well, and it's the same name.
Irina, you just made my borscht turn out so good.
I'm so happy to hear that.
I know, I saw your comment earlier today, and it was great.
I've actually made a new borscht recipe,
which is better than the one you probably made,
so I will post that sometime soon.
And borscht is actually really healthy.
It's one of our traditional dishes across Europe, Eastern Europe,
Russia, Russian speaking countries and Ukraine, you know.
So, yeah, so definitely it's healthy, it's vegetarian,
it's actually vegan, I forgot because it's got nothing else in there,
just vegetables. Yeah, preservatives, so, so good. Yeah.
Okay.
Michal, when did I move to London? I moved to London when I was 18.
So I'm 29 now. That was 11 years ago. Oh my God, that sounds crazy.
I didn't realize I've been in London for so long.
So basically, I think now more than half of my life I've been in UK.
That's crazy. Thank you very much, Catherine. You're very sweet.
Okay.
Best thing about tofu, it's healthy and tasteless
and has no taste. It's like bean cheese.
Okay, so I have seen some of the recipes with tofu like
teriyaki tofu, tofu in soups, in stews.
So I'll make sure it has a lot of taste and flavor
and if it's healthy and good for you, why not?
Why not?
How is London? Hey Emma, well London at the minute is really horrible.
It's grey and it's kind of raining a little bit and it's just not very
nice but I'm so used to this weather and I think a lot of the times we
do miss the sun and as soon as the sun comes out you literally...
If you ever visit London in this weather there will
be no people outside. If you visit London
when it's sunny you'll see the whole London being half.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, my accent's uber adorable. Thank you, Bayan.
Am I Russian or Latvia is part of Russian?
No, Latvia is a separate country completely.
We are independent, free country.
I'm Latvian.
I was born in Daugavpils, which is a small town.
Um...
But my mother was Russian, my dad is Latvian,
so I'm kind of a mix of both, I guess.
I speak both Latvian and Russian, obviously English.
Um, but
But we are a separate country, so, yeah, don't confuse that.
I know that.
Hi, thanks, John. Have a good day.
Which country do you consider home?
I'm from Latvia myself, currently living in Denmark.
Oh, Denmark is lovely. I think I consider London now my home
because I've been here for so long
and I've adapted here. All my friends are here.
I live with my sister. So yeah, London is my home.
But I do really miss home as well.
I just came back from Latvia and I just had a feast every day.
I was eating so much food. So yeah.
Can you make stir-fry with tofu? Definitely.
I think you can make stir-fry with tofu.
It will be really nice and healthy.
Yeah. Julia lives in Denmark as well. Yeah.
But yeah, guys. Yeah, like I said,
just going to wrap up because I think I've been talking for a while.
I hope you're enjoying this.
So, um...
Hi, Martha. Hi, Anne. I look slimmer.
I'm not sure I look slimmer. I've only lost two kilos.
It's all in the belly. It's all in the belly.
I can't show you. It's embarrassing.
That's interesting.
But yeah, you do make borscht with carrots and beetroot,
so you kind of make it all together.
Okay.
Wait a minute.
Thank you all for coming to the live shows. It's great.
Let me see.
Hold this together.
Okay.
Is it okay?
But, um...
Wait a minute.
Hold this together.
Yeah, so that's just my update,
Let me see.
I wanted to tell you what I'm doing, and I really want
Okay.
Hold this together.
Okay.
to bring, I'm going to, I keep saying,
We are done with the chat.
I am so happy to see you.
but I'm going to do a live, so tomorrow I'm making
I'm keeping you posted.
Thank you.
You are welcome.
a new vegan recipe, which I'm going to have for dinner,
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
and so I thought I'll do a live
Bye.
Bye.
as well, and we're going to cook together,
Bye.
Bye.
and I'll show you what I'm making, and that
Bye.
way you can, if you want to make it at home as well,
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
which is healthy, full of protein
Bye.
Bye.
and veggies, and if not,
you can make it later when you re-watch the show.
Keep up with the work. You're so determined and everything. Thank you.
I'm trying. I'm trying. I didn't have a really good week last week.
Like I said, I did eat too many calories.
And I think that has affected my weight loss a little bit
because you can see that I measure myself once a week.
And you can see that when you when you don't,
I think I lost a few people.
Because my grandma was just calling me. And okay.
Thanks for making a live video.
Good to hear from you.
So good to see you all, guys.
Come up online and check it out.
And I really enjoyed talking to you.
Thank you.
I will definitely get well and send all my love.
My grandma is really persistent.
She keeps calling me.
So I'm going to finish the live now.
Sorry about that, guys.
You know, like old people, they call you 20 times.
Okay, love you guys.
Thank you so much for watching.
And I'll see you soon.
Probably tomorrow or the next day when I make something delicious.
