WITHOUT PRODUCT REVIEWS, SPONSORS, DONATIONS AND STICKER SALES, I’d have to go back to work and not do ANY videos, because you can’t live without any income.
Hey guys, how you doing? It's Henry at Motors and Blowers.
Welcome to another video. I got the Bobster with me
and we're headed over to Nick from Bob's house again.
That's right. He's got another tractor without an engine.
This one actually has a deck,
which makes it a little bit more enticing to go pick up
because all I got to do is put an engine on it and we can sell it.
He also has three blown motors. So it's a Saturday.
It's early morning, early morning for me,
and we'll just go pick it up.
All right, here we are.
Nick from Bellport.
You're not even gonna see my ass.
I'm over here at Nick's.
Bobby's in the door jam so he doesn't get away.
Look at that mail truck.
Weird looking, huh?
Put a lot of ---- in there though.
Nick from Bellport.
We've got something else going on today.
This is a, huh, really?
He said he has two tractors for me.
There's no way I can carry two, though.
With the old van, I could, but not this one.
So this is a John Deere for Sabre.
You guys know Sabre by John Deere.
They had an older version of this.
It came in orange and strange-looking green.
And this is the newer version, the strange green with the orange.
Anyway, you know, it's okay.
he's got three busted engines in here for me uh it's got
a decent hood he said oh is it i mean
it's by henry's standards yeah
by by my standards it's still there don't touch it this is nothing
that some plastic fix or zip ties wouldn't fix
or i don't know man i don't even know why i'm here
I'm here.
i just i just uh i couldn't say
no when you say you're gonna chuck it it's got a deck and
Oh yeah, so how...
how is the deck do you think that's not bad i just looked
at it oh that's it yeah you can flip
off weld that i've fixed that before easily
so what's the other thing that you say you want to
get rid of so what's going
on with Nick this weekend i know
you're you really with the deck
Well, I mean, ----, I'd rather take this than the John Deere.
No, the red one, you should take that one first.
No, I'd rather have this than the green one.
I should really hang on to this for a while.
Because I actually need that deck.
I've got, do you know how many LT1000 haulers I have at home?
So take the deck.
That I could use the deck.
No, but if you're going to give me the deck,
what the hell are you going to do with this?
I don't know, maybe I need some parts in it.
Oh, for goodness sakes.
I'm going to have to talk to Nick about this.
All right, you guys saw, we loaded that up, lickety-split.
I had to get out of there, I couldn't talk to him for long
because his wife wanted me to move the car she was leaving.
So I just said, you know, thanks, Nick, I'll see you later.
He also gave me an LT1000 deck that's not really complete.
The spindles are bad, missing a blade,
and a couple of pulleys are bad too.
So that deck needs to be rebuilt, but not by too much.
A few pulleys, maybe a spindle, a blade, whatever, etc.
So that actually...
is a decent deck. I could use that for one of my LT1000 haulers at home
when I could build another
full-fledged lawn tractor, which is great.
And he actually had another deck, but he was thinking
about holding onto it for a little
while longer in case he needed some parts off of it. Bobo was
barking when he went outside.
When he went inside, he stopped barking. So I guess he likes to be
inside or he's cold. Anyway, I'm going to get gas.
I saw this gas station on the way here.
You ready? Regular. Cash. $3.99.
I'm gonna go get some gas.
I'm not gonna. I'm gonna. $3.99.
E85 is $2.39.
Man, that's cheap.
However, I've tried
E85 because my
truck is actually
a flex fuel. You can't see it. Flex fuel.
So this is the deck he gave me.
and i've put flex fuel in however i feel like like i have
to get gas more often like it
combusts faster and i run out of fuel faster than regular gas
so all in all it's a wash regular gas
lasts longer e85 is quicker to burn
so while i'm saving with e85 i gotta fill up more often
that didn't make any sense to me i'll tell you what
if gas goes up to like six a gallon
And maybe I will consider E85.
40 bucks 10 gallons even.
local gas stations around my place $4.39
so I saved like 40
cents a gallon that's only four bucks actually if you think about it
but four bucks is four bucks
I'll unload now.
Unloaded
the Sabre took
the three
engines out
put them over
here I haven't
looked at them
Three engine blocks. Preliminarily this sump cover looks great.
It's the one with the half moon
semi-circle thing here to hold the synchro balancer.
I need that eventually. John Deere's
double stack pulley. It's extra big on the bottom.
There's a synchro balancer and a crankshaft and
this is a ball hitch extension for a tractor.
Kind of cool. He hasn't taken this apart,
just the cover to look.
The blown connecting rods and the sump cover bolts.
This is an engine that he says is blown because it freely spins,
but he hasn't taken it apart.
So that'll be fun to take apart.
I like taking apart these things. So it does come with two
flywheels. That's always worth money.
The starter motor, head, muffler bolts.
And these all are missing heads.
So I think Nick kept a few.
So that's the extent of the three engine blocks that are blown
that I could use for parts to maybe build one in the future or two.
So here's the John Deere Sabre.
It had an original 14.5 horsepower engine in it.
Kind of shitty, huh?
Very, very underpowered.
No battery.
And also since the gas tank is not here, it's probably in the back,
which means you have a fuel pump operated gas system.
the solenoid here's the harness mostly complete
this hood is trashed nothing that some zip ties
or some plastic welding wouldn't fix no headlights no headlight covers
but i mean you know it's like
complete and whole instead of just pieces
so you can do something with that this does have a
separate throttle and choke cable as most fuel pump deliveries have
although i don't see the
I don't see the choke.
What was that second wire for?
Oh, one is for the PTO engagement.
It is a manual PTO engagement.
It's pretty good.
Tires hold air with the exception of the front right.
Had to put air in it.
And he said the deck is okay other than that hole on the front right,
which we can block with some sheet metal and some self tappers.
So this just needs an engine and some TLC is all.
I might have a John Deere seat cover for this.
Gas cap.
Sabre Part Reference Maintenance Guide.
It's a manual, five speed forward, one reverse.
Ooh, engine mounting bolts.
See if the tranny works.
Ooh, it's a Sabre Panther.
So yeah, man, I have an old engine I'll put on this.
The engine's actually, I think, a 17.5.
So it's more horsepower than this thing came with.
So yeah, we put one of my old rebuilt engines on here,
and there you go.
Kind of clean it up a little bit, get everything working.
Fixed the hood a little bit,
and this can be listed for like four or five hundred dollars,
maybe. Paint's okay. I mean,
I've seen John Deere's where this bottom part is all rusted to hell.
This one, this one's all right. It's not bad.
I'll keep it for a future project.
He also gave me an LT1000 deck, which I need.
I have like four haulers that need decks.
so he gave me a deck uh he said one of the spindles
is bad uh these things are not good
although they feel okay they make noises i think like
a deck isn't supposed to make noise yeah this
one makes a little noise i think i have a few extra uh this one
also needs a blade and a uh
discharge flap cover this thing is here
so this is a cable activated or engaged PTO which
Which is why this stud is so high.
You hook the cable onto here and it pulls it.
So pretty cool.
That's a future project too to get
this deck working and placed on a hauler.
Listen, I had to go get this because it was free.
Free.
That's right, free.
All this takes is an engine.
I got a spare engine.
A little bit of TLC.
I know how to do TLC.
Some ---- to fix on it, but you know what?
It's content, you know what I mean?
The engine's for extra parts.
I was there to get this anyway, and he gave me a deck,
so maybe we'll get a hauler going in the future.
Now, on to the next thing. So, recently, I got a
new super fan. A fan is just a subscriber and likes the work that I do,
but a super fan watches
me non-stop. Of course, you got plenty to catch up
on if you're a new subscriber and you like
the content. I've got like 3,000 videos.
So, the subscriber is GingerSnap.
And she sent me a bunch of gifts for my birthday.
She obviously saw videos of me trying to put my tires on beads
and not being successful.
So she bought me a bead seeder from VEVOR.
You guys won't be seeing me doing sponsoring
for VEVOR products anymore because they've gotten
so big in the United States
they don't need YouTubers
to tell you guys about VEVOR everybody already knows about VEVOR so
they're concentrating on their Amazon affiliates
which i am also a part of but i won't be reviewing
any VEVOR products unless subscribers like you sent it to me
which is what this is
So this kind of scares the bejesus out of me.
What you do is you hook up your air compressor hose to this.
You pressure this up to 100 PSI.
Then you close the valve to stop it.
And then when you're ready to put a tire on a rim,
you push this trigger like a gun.
I know, it's like a bazooka.
and you put this where the crack is between the rim
and the tire and you blow air uh
i don't have any unbeaded tires but i will try
and show you so you open this valve so you allow
air to go in so now it's
filling up it's got
a meter over here
we'll just put what whatever is going in here like 65 70 psi
and then we shut this
you can fill this up to 110 psi is what they say
but i just filled it to 60 psi and then when
you're ready to blow air you push that trigger right there
so pretend that this bead this tire
is off the bead and off the rim you would take
this and you would put this part on the rim i have
this flipped upside down that's right you
do that and so this opening goes right into the crack right
All right.
And of course.
i'll just put it here
okay you just pull
this trigger watch wow it's
crazy isn't it yeah so
that's pretty cool so GingerSnap thanks for the bazooka she
also sent me assorted magnets you know
like if you drop your ---- in an engine compartment
you could just like get your tool or your
bolt and you magnetize it
and you pull it out that's what she said like three different sizes
Flex coil two, three of them.
These are very useful.
I have some somewhere.
Problem having my garage is I got so much ----.
I can't find anything.
And I always wanted this.
A claw.
Grab ----.
Not craw, craw.
My name is the craw.
The craw?
Not the craw.
The craw.
Oh, yes, the craw.
She's got me a wireless microphone, you know, lavalier for influencers.
I have a few of these. I never use them.
Because the nature of my videos, the camera's always super close to me
because I'm fixing ----, right?
So you never have a problem really hearing me.
Not to mention, people tell me I'm kind of loud and obnoxious.
So a lavalier is like for something where
you're really far away from the camera.
Sometimes I use it.
I have one of these too.
Make a funnel you know it's like um lead or bendable metal whatever
rubber coated and you can make your own funnel
so when you take out the thing the oil comes out of
the engine and doesn't get all over the place
and it funnels into a container. So these are always
very useful too. I'm gonna put this away
in a place where I know I can find it again because
Because my other one...
i lost it for like two years
and then finally i found it she got me a hose removal pliers how
many times have we tried to take out hoses
and it's a pain in the ass so with this hose pliers
just put it between the hose and the carburetor
and push fluid extractor when you want to extract
fluid or suck oil out of somewhere you know to winterize
or do an oil change something like that
I've had a few of these. None of them worked well.
I'll try this sometime soon. She got me
a couple of t-shirts and honestly
the most creative gift I've gotten in a long time.
She sent me a binder with mowers
and blowers AI generated images with a personal letter.
I'll keep that to myself.
Really cool stuff that she made and you could tell
That she's been watching for a short time, relatively, but a lot of it.
I'll flash these now quickly through a slideshow.
Cletus, you know what you are?
You're a dipstick.
A 14-karat dipstick.
those of you who follow my instagram
at mowers blowers follow my instagram i'll be displaying
a few of these every now and then
so that you guys could see the talent that she has
and the attention to detail if you look
at the image you'll see all the things that
have been incorporated in my videos over
the past eight years it's really very
impressive i got a lot of great laughs out
So thanks to Dawn Carr from North Carolina
of looking through this binder
or Gingersnap for sending me these great gifts.
I really appreciate it.
It was my birthday the other day and these will all come in very handy.
I'll use these in all my future videos.
So thank you very much.
Hope you guys enjoy the video.
Remember to like, share, and subscribe
so I can continue to bring you...
Picking tractors from Nick and busted engines
and an occasional mailbag segment, huh?
Have a great day. We'll see you guys next time on mowers and blowers.
You guys
next time
on mowers
and blowers
and guns.
