Hey guys, I'm in Traverse City, Michigan at the former Kmart.
I actually filmed this three years ago, almost to the day.
October 29th, 2023. I came here with one of my best friends.
Her name is Yvonne. So I actually filmed and put it in my vlog.
I'm actually going to dedicate a whole video to this.
I think this is really cool. I like this Cherryland Center.
They got the abandoned Sears, the abandoned Yonkers, the abandoned...
There's a Spirit Halloween here.
I mean, it's so cool.
Um...
And yeah, so let's go walk around and see what we can find.
Kmart Courtyard Stores.
I mean, just look at this sign, it's so cool.
I feel like this place was maybe crushed by the mall,
the Grand Traverse Mall, but it's just such a cool,
I love it, I love the sign.
So it's funny because I was here at night before
and I'm here at night again.
A little bit of a label scar up there.
Pharmacy scar.
Big K scar.
Ooh, that

Pretty unique.
Look at how it's like tucked in the corner here.
The red strips on the door.
Why does that not look like a full store?
Like some of this had to have been locked off.
That is not a full Kmart.
I see circle vents though.
Look at the red on the poles.

Bring Kmart back. Please bring Kmart back.
I don't know what the heck they did. Can anyone tell me,
was this that small of a store?
Because this is the smallest Kmart I've ever seen, if it is.
I wonder if there's anything
around the back. I got a sort
of a long walk around here
because I'm gonna have to go all the way around,
all the way around this.
Maybe this place took some of the,
I feel like they took some of the Kmart because this is what's
around the corner. Let's see what the back looks like.
It looks, there's the classic, yeah, there's
the classic satellite right there.
All the Kmarts had that.
Oh, that does look Kmart-y with the
corrugated
siding.

Wow.
I don't know why I'm fascinated with this stuff.
I love walking around the backs of stores.
There's something really kind of spooky and special about it.
Look at how dark it is.
So that's what's in the back.
Yeah, it sucks that this Cherryland Center here,
you know, three of the big anchor stores
are closed and shut down.
If you remember this Kmart, I think they closed in 2017.
If you remember anything about it, let me know,
because that store looks like so small.

It's crazy to be back here after three years.
