4 Different Tree Drawings | Lightwish 77 Color Soft Oil Pastels

Unboxing the lightwish 77 color, soft oil pastel set and putting the colours to test with a few quick tree drawings.

I decided to keep things simple and explore the colors, blending and texture by creating four trees with different shapes, seasons, and colour palettes. An oak tree with a fuller shape, a tall redwood, a colorful fall tree with rich autumn tones, and a spring tree with purple and pink blossoms on three different papers, mix media black paper, brown cardstock and white watercolor paper.

It was a fun way to get familiar with a new oil pastel set while experimenting with different colour combinations and tree shapes.

This is a quiet relaxing art process with no talking or music just drawing, layering and blending oil pastel. I hope you enjoy watching these little trees come to life.
