Watercolour Painting in Autumn Light | Loose Studies in a Handmade Sketchbook | No Talking
A slow creative session making a sketchbook from a single sheet of paper, then filling the pages with loose watercolour paintings.
This isn’t a tutorial or a planned illustration, just a chance to experiment and see where the watercolour takes me. It’s still a medium I’m learning to get to grips with, so I’m trying out looser shapes and more abstract ways of capturing light. No talking, just natural painting sounds.
I start by folding a large sheet of paper into a little sketchbook, then work across three pages. I’m curious to see how little detail is needed to suggest the feeling of light.
Thanks for spending a little quiet drawing time with me.
