Forget trick-or-treating this Halloween in France.
This Saturday, French citizens are set to take to the streets,
not for sweets, but for a third day
of protests against the rising cost of living.
After the chaotic scenes on October the 17th,
the government has promised a firm response.
70,000 police officers and gendarmes are to be deployed.
The Interior Ministry warns of a very high risk of public disorder,
with most approved march routes kept away from city centres.

But inside, nothing's changing for us.
As you can see from the decorations,
we're ready to welcome people every Saturday.

Oui, plus pour Halloween.
Several hundred protests and other actions are expected across France.
Authorities estimate up to 450,000 people could take to the streets.
