U.S. Airforce's Newest Helicopter The MH-139A Grey Wolf!

James Kaufman will report today. After not replacing our military choppers in so long, Boeing has really hit a home run with their newest chopper, the MH-139. Kind of new on the block, the MH-139 Gray Wolf, the newest helicopter in the U.S. Air Force fleet, recently made a run at the annual Air Force Marathon. Replacing the UH-1N Huey, the MH-139 cruises 50% faster, flies 50% farther, and has a 30% larger cabin and can lift 5,000 additional pounds of weight. We have it coming in to land next to one of the choppers it is replacing. I thought you'd like to see it in operation. The. MH-139A Gray Wolf itself, folks, built in Philadelphia. Wow. It's designed to protect our ICBMs and transport personnel. Check it out. Very nice piece of equipment. Looks like it's extremely versatile. We've had no problems with them whatsoever as we did the, well, 35 Lightning II. We'll keep an eye on this thing. It's going to replace all the choppers in the fleet, and I'm fairly impressed with it. It's actually, well, at Maxwell Air Force Base here, and the 908th Flying Wing is training crews on the MH-139 to support missile security and personnel transport missions. There you go, folks.
