Woodbury's Town Lake Terror House features haunted trail

We are getting you into the spooky spirit with a visit to a couple of pretty incredibly decorated homes. We got to look at that before we went to the break. My goodness. The first stop has a free haunted backyard trail to explore. It's known as the Town Lake Terror House. Yeah. Shane Wilson is there this morning. Be careful, Shane. Be careful. Cut through all the fog here. I don't know, I didn't hear that in the forecast today, but it's very foggy here, at least in Woodbury. We have Travis Roberto with us this morning. This is his creation, his house. How do you describe this experience to people? Because it is kind of a twofold. The front yard is different than the backyard, and we are in the backyard, if you're wondering. Yeah, the backyard's intent was to be kind of an all-ages friendly version. In the front yard was our traditional props that we had at our original display, which we were at that location for seven years. And then when we moved here, I had the opportunity to decorate in the back and the front. So two versions, but just kind of double the madness at this point. Double the madness. And let's give some appreciation because this fence, these posts, they don't exist. outside of Halloween all this was built and created for this that's correct yep and in fact I started probably in August putting all this together because this is our first year at this location so a lot of the stuff in the backyard that you see is brand new to our display and I had to put it all together and get it ready for this year it's kind of nice there's a paved walking trail that happens to go behind your house which then other more people get to see and get exposure to this otherwise you might not realize That you could come back here. Yeah, correct. So we're right on the Colby Lake walking trail. Okay. And it has great access to the backyard. And of course you can get to the front yard just off the main street. So yeah, very easy to see both sides, but some people aren't aware and you really don't expect to have a backyard display cause that's not very common. It is not. So obviously you have a lot of large props and whenever I do these stories, I am inundated with questions from people, not about like how they do the lighting or where did you find that? It's where do you store it? So here's your chance. Where do you store all this? I get that question all the time. Big storage unit. It's gotten to the point where I can't keep it in the house anymore. So on setup day I get a moving truck and on teardown day I get a moving truck and move it to storage and it sits there for 11 months. You have a moving truck, moving truck. Yep. That's serious. And you said this will be gone and done. by November 1st. Did I hear that correctly? I'm hoping so. I want this out of the air. How is that possible? How many people do you have to bring in? I have three or four people coming over to help. Okay. And then you've got some family members, too. Yep. Yep. A lot of people have lent a hand, and it's to the point where it's not a one-person job anymore. I just can't keep up with it myself. I can see why. I can see why. Well, this is truly incredible. Thank you. Every time we go to these houses, I'm like, this ad did the last and the last, which is hard to imagine. Thank you so much for the tour and the bright early morning turning all this on. I'm sure your neighbors are super loving this as well. I don't know, hopefully. They don't mind. It's close enough to Halloween. They're going to be just fine. They understand. Exactly.
