Is the best way to begin our Bobbing segment today.
Take a look at this house here on Amos Land Road.
I feel like I'm at the funeral.
These are live coffins.
We got a live hearse.
Ronnie, how are you, my man?
I'm doing good. Thank you.
So first of all, you own both homes here.
Tell me the story on this house.
You bought it just for Halloween?
Yeah, I bought it for Halloween just to continue my adventure.
It's crazy.
Let's go for a walk.
First of all, we got the coffins.
Where did you get the coffins at?
Internet and funeral parlors. Marketplace.
So we're on Amos Land Road right next to Interboro High.
We were coming down the street.
Jared get a shot to the left there of the smoke.
I thought we were coming up on a three alarm fire
but it just happens to be the fog machines
and the animatronics are great. Now hold on,
here's my little buddy. He helped build some
of the animatronics. What's your name?
Christian.
All right Christian, show me what
happens here when you pull the handle.
Uh-oh. What's going on? Oh, cool.
So this sign says Bates Motel.
No vacancy. We're filled up
inside and all the coffins are filled up.
So this is your one house here. And then it just
stretches all the way down. Come on, Ron.
Come with me here. When do you start decorating? August.
In August? Oh my gosh. Where do you store all this stuff?
I have storage containers and I bring one at a time
and fill them up and take it back to my shop.
This is a walk-through. You definitely suggest people to get out,
walk through. I can see all the way in the back there.
Yes. Now hold on. Over here, Delco Dad is here.
Hey, how you doing? Yo, it's this wah-wah switcher. What happens here?
Ah, man, we flip this switch.
You better do your homework!
What's over here in this thing here?
Come over here. It's a gas chamber.
That's new for this year.
What's that?
What's that?
It fills up with smoke?
Yeah, it fills up with smoke.
Hello.
This is one way to get the kids to behave.
Now, look at it.
How's this thing working?
Somebody left their arm here.
Yeah, it's coming from the floor.
Yeah.
Oh, I love it.
I love it.
Come on down here.
I'm going to go down.
Check out the other side of the yard.
So, how many...
What?
Of course...
With Halloween tomorrow, how long do you keep it up for?
I'll keep it up for two weeks after Halloween.
Two weeks after?
Yeah.
Now, do you turn anything?
Do we do Christmas here or just Halloween?
Christmas.
Christmas?
Yes.
Not a graveyard theme, though.
No, no, no.
This is unbelievable.
Wow.
How many years?
Six years you been doing it?
No, about ten.
Ten?
Ten years.
Amos Land Road in Delco Prospect Park.
Right next.
Hold on.
He's going to hit a button on this one, I think.
Right next to Interboro Hyde.
It's Halloween, live on FOX 29. Unbelievable.
We're along Vermont Road in Delco. Take a look at this front lawn.
This is cool. It reminds me of like Christmas all decorated.
But they have the hot pot out front there,
the ghost here, and the spooky music.
Got some animatronics going on and I love
that they kept their lights on. That was our
biggest thing. If you sent me a picture,
making sure all your lights are up. Little graveyard,
front yard graveyard. Let's go ahead and see what we got there.
Archway, and this is going to be perfect for the trick-or-treat.
Man, when you've got a house that's all decorated like this,
you know they're giving out some good candy.
Definitely a good stop.
Not like the neighbor doesn't have any lights on.
All right.
Oh, look at that.
We've got the ghost up there.
Is that like a porch area?
Oh, look at a big, giant skeleton.
That looks cool.
Good job, guys.
Good job.
Vermont Road bringing it.
Halloween, we're coming through Delco this morning.
Still looking for some kids.
Oh, we got a person.
Oh, we got somebody.
Okay, there we go.
Oh, look, they got a little baby.
I think he's holding somebody.
Put your window down.
Tell him to come on over.
Good morning.
Good morning.
They're looking good.
Good job.
That's great.
Love it.
The kids are having some fun this morning.
I have to take a nap later on today being up this early with Boba Ween.
All right, Cameron, back to you.
We're coming through Delco.
We're heading to Havertown.
Checking out the houses.
Halloween in our decorated news van.
You ready for the scare?
All right, here we go.
We're along Bryan Street, just off of Township Line in Delco.
And they really did it up here.
These giant skeletons.
are so cool the newest one i've seen i think
this year is this guy here that kind of looks
like he's rising up out of the grass he's only
in the top portion plus it's trash day here
in delco so up and over
the uh trash containers wow they don't have a lot but they're big
look at the size of that oh my god
that's probably 30 feet tall got that anchored down
Got to make sure we got it anchored down, especially with the winds.
But at least we got some great weather tonight, tomorrow for the kids.
The headless horsemen here, looking good.
Now, this is Beth.
She said she was going to have candy for us.
So should we beep the horn and wake her up?
All right.
Accidentally lean on the horn as an accident,
of course, to wake Beth up.
She said, uh, she sent us the picture and thanks to everybody
that sent pictures, we've got thousands of entries.
Um, we're trying to get to them all.
We're not going to be able to do that,
but if you've got big candy bars, we'll definitely do a detour.
All right, good job there, Beth.
Looking good. Hope you're sleeping nicely.
We were looking for candy.
It's the only reason why we came here, Karen.
You will get some. Should I go knock on the door?
Should I go knock on the door? What do you think?
Yeah, sure. I'm sure they'll go over great.
Maybe we'll just... So they won't have... They think. Yeah.
She'll come out in her house coat.
She got her house coat on. I just need some candy, Beth.
Come on, let's go. Actually, Hill, what's your first name again?
John. John, what's your address
here? We're at 1016 Agnew Drive, right across from Hillcrest.
Yep, and we were here last year
for the front of the house.
He flagged us down and said, yo guys, I built a clown house in the
backyard. Is this our first year for the clown house?
First year for the clown house, and we're
And we're actually doing our walkthrough two nights
this year, tonight and tomorrow.
Tomorrow as well, 7 to 11.
Right out front, and then we walk through.
Jared, I think you should go first.
Oh, great.
Okay, hold on, I'll open the door.
John, kind of narrate, what are we going to see here?
So you're going to see all kinds of
different clowns in here and surprises.
I say there's a surprise in every corner in this.
Now, what's with the clowns?
Are you like just a clown guy?
I always thought like spooky carnival vibes I was going for with this.
Now, what are these?
Oh, you got these walls made out of like pallets.
Yeah, I built this whole thing out of pallets, used pallets.
I'm going to go through the pool noodles, okay?
You want a decapita?
Okay, so let me ask you, how long does it take you to set all this up?
Bob, I spent over a month working on this this year.
Whoa, I love the pool noodles.
The horn is off.
It's just free, right, to walk through the pool?
For absolutely free.
We're asking for donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital, as always.
Great, okay.
Hold on, we're going to keep going.
All right.
Okay, and I think we're, oh, yeah.
You can't escape the game, so why don't you come a little closer?
Let's see how you're going to bump.
This is great.
What I love, we're in a row.
Look at the houses right behind you here.
What do your neighbors think of all this?
Believe it or not, my neighbors really love it.
I mean, all the kids, we're a kid-friendly
neighborhood here, and all the kids love it.
Oh, my God, a pirate ship.
Look at this.
Yeah, this is the whole pirate scene.
Oh, my gosh.
Man, all right, what's your address again?
It's 1016 Agnew Drive, Drexel Hill,
across the street from Hillcrest Elementary.
I love it.
Oh, look, the talking parrot.
We had one of these earlier in the week.
I'm starting to speak.
Here we go.
I said, Jason, unbelievable.
We're in this guy's backyard.
You are.
This must be a neighbor of mine, Bob.
He is, yeah, yeah.
We're going to send Jason and his kids over.
Oh, please, yeah, we're opening at 7 to 11 tonight and tomorrow.
Love it.
Perfect, there you go.
Can the kids handle that?
They're going to have to.
Boba Ween, we are at 418 Westbourne Drive.
Hit it.
This guy's got a pirate ship that he built on his front lawn.
Every year, I'm told, he does a different theme.
We just turned a corner, and both of us just went, OMG.
Look at this. Unbelievable.
It's like Noah's Ark.
He's got the masts.
He's got the animatronics down along the bottom.
Now, this is right, what did I just say,
418 Westbourne Drive in Broomhall.
Oh, my God. Look how long it is.
This guy is neighbors.
Oh, my God. That is a full-blown pirate ship.
And he obviously had to build it by hand on the front lawn
because he takes it down every year.
He's got a different theme.
Whoa, unbelievable.
That's what it's all about, gang.
Bob-a-ween.
Jason, you've got to pick it up a notch because you're a little spider.
You're not going to get a window.
The itsy-bitsy spider ain't going to cut it with a pirate ship.
I don't have anywhere to put a pirate ship in my house.
Oh, hold on.
Oh, hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Stay right here. Hold on.
Here he comes.
What's up? Come here, pal.
How you doing?
My name is Bob. We're live on Fox.
What's your name?
Joe.
Hey, Joe. Is this your house here?
No, sir. I live next door.
Oh, my gosh.
Listen, you've got to pick it up a notch.
I live next door here.
All right. We got candy. Let's have a hand for Joe. Thanks, Joe.
Hey, no problem, guys. Have a great Halloween.
You too. Trick or treat. Here we go. Thank you. You want the bowl back?
If you don't mind.
Yeah, no problem.
He looks like he's wearing the pirate coat.
Thanks, Joe. You got it, Joe. All right, Joe. Here, come here.
Let's show him on TV. There we go.
Happy Halloween, everyone.
Thank you, everyone.
Thanks, Joe.
Bob, what town is that?
He's got the big candy bars, too. The big ones.
Here, Jared.
Oh, you got it, buddy. We'll be back. Oh, it is.
All right. Back to you guys. You have to text
them and ask them. You need to take the kids.
Yeah, that's cool. Yeah. Take a look. The fog
machine. Your first impression is we got a full blown fire here,
but that's not the case. This is
Ash Road in Wallingford. Kind of like you got some ramps here.
Looks like it crashed. Oh, hey,
we got a guy come up here. Come here, pal.
Yo, pal. Come here. Is this your house?
Hey, good morning. How are you? Good morning.
We're live on Fox 29. What's your name?
I'm Larry. This is my son, Ryan. Hey, guys.
How are you? Hello. Is this your house? It is.
All right, Larry, come on. Explain it
to us. You're the best one to do it.
What are the ramps? So this is Evel Knievel meets E.T.
As you can see, Evel Knievel's up there on the ramp,
and then E.T.'s right in the middle with the moon behind him.
For the younger crowd, Evel Knievel was the daredevil that rode
his motorcycle up and over buses, trains, the Grand Canyon.
It looks like he didn't make it here,
because you've got to... Is that a real plane here?
That is a real plane. It's a one-seater, and so I thought that would...
be pretty cool with that.
I gotta ask you how long you've been doing this?
About eight to ten years
with the help of my son Ryan. Well what when did you get the bug?
You definitely got the Halloween
decorating bug. Is it all up there?
It started probably about 10 years ago when I had skeletons
just climbing on the brick
and then Home Depot came out with all these different 12 footers and
different skeletons so it just it just got me.
All right so um how long do you leave it up? Tonight
Tonight, obviously, right?
Probably a good week, maybe.
Another whole week to come by.
All right, so what is your address?
Because folks are watching at home.
100 Ash Road in Wallingford.
100 Ash Road in Wallingford.
You've got a week to come by,
and I'm going to put the whole lineup
that we've been hitting this morning
on a nice little cheat sheet for everybody
so you can throw the kids in the car and check it out.
Now, I've got to ask you, tomorrow night, the big night,
what kind of candy are we giving out?
We'll probably get about 800 to 1,000 kids here.
Okay.
What kind of candy are you giving out?
The most important question.
What have you gotten?
What do you have?
Snickers, M&Ms.
All right.
Milho-
.
But we do a whole lot of that. We do apple cider,
little cups of apple cider, and then cookies of ginger snaps.
So you get the full three-course meal here.
And we're hanging out. I love it. All right,
gang, what do you think? This is pretty cool.
Guys, thank you so much.
And I do have a man cave for a Halloween party tomorrow.
Oh, there we go.
It's in the back.
All right, man cave Halloween. I'll mark it on the calendar.
Jason, I'll pick you up. What time does the party start?
At dusk.
Dusk.
There you go.
