Hey everyone, it's Deja with Knit
and Crochet Ever After and today I have a new pattern.
This is the trinket bag knit.
You might have seen the bobble bag a little bit ago. I had to
make one a knit of course so that we had both sides represented.
Just like my crochet bobble
Double bag, this is a knit little kind of hand purse bag,
trinket holder that has,
i-cord loops a little small one
and a bigger one that will cinch up the bag and that you can
slip it on your wrist
and carry it around the skill level is intermediate on this pattern
mostly because of the shaping
and the i-cords but there is um it's not
Too much. So if you've done iCords before,
you know already how to do those. There's lots of
tutorials. The shaping is very minimal.
It just gives it a little bit more of a rounded edge.
And the yardage is the same for this one
as it was for the crochet one,
around 90 yards of super bulky. You'll be using a
Six millimeter DPNs
or a circular if you are comfortable with the magic loop.
The difference between this one and the crochet,
the crochet holds about one cake of yarn and it's
just how yardage works. Crochet always is a yarn eater.
So the knit one, I have a cake of yarn in
here and you can see I have lots of room.
I could actually fit another cake.
And I could probably get another one in there if I needed to.
I could fit probably a third.
So this is a great bag for socks on the go.
You'll just slip your thing in there,
grab that, pull your yarn out, and then you can
Knit while you're standing around or doing whatever.
It's nice and squishy,
so you can squish it down and stick it into a bigger bag if you're,
you know, if this is kind of your project holder.
You can put it on the back of a door to hold stuff in a room,
your keys at the front door.
It has lots of uses, and it's not that hard to make,
uses minimal yarn, and it's just
really handy.
