🚐 What did four weeks of travelling around Wales on my own really teach me?

After spending four weeks exploring the beautiful Welsh coastline in my little Vauxhall Vivaro, I've had some time to reflect on the experience - and I've realised I learnt quite a lot about myself along the way!

I absolutely loved the freedom, the stunning places I visited and the adventures I had. But full-time vanlife isn't always quite as carefree as it looks on YouTube.

In this video, I'm having an honest chat about the things that surprised me during my Welsh road trip, including:

🚐 Why I think I moved around far too much
😴 How tiring travelling and working from a small van can be
🅿️ The reality of finding somewhere to sleep each night
❤️ Missing Stephen and having nobody there to share those little moments with
💛 Admitting something I didn't really want to admit while I was away - that I sometimes felt lonely
☕ Why I want to make more effort to meet up with my vanlife friends and make new ones
🌿 What I'm going to do differently on my next adventure

I still love living in my little van, and I wouldn't change the experience for anything. But this trip reminded me that you can love your independence and still wish you had someone to share the journey with.

After spending almost two years living full-time in my van while my house was being renovated, I moved back home - but I never stopped missing the freedom of life on the road.
