PAL Airlines flight to Labrador loses a wheel on landing Friday morning

It was in Goose Bay just before takeoff. I noticed the wheel was a little wobbly. It didn't really look normal. And I thought, oh, I wonder if something's going on there. So I got a video of it just, I don't know, just to be on the safe side. Like my instinct was like, let's just get a video of this. That looked a little shaky. Like the wheel was wobbling. There was a bit of smoke. And so I thought, I'm going to record the landing and wobble as well, just in case. I don't know if this tire is going to make the landing. The first thing I thought was, I'm really glad I'm recording the video because no one's going to believe this. Secondly, I thought that was the smoothest wheel come off situation that I would have ever expected it to be. After we had landed and the flight attendant said, oh, I can't believe we lost the wheel. I said, I've got a video of it. And so the flight attendants were like, oh, let me see, let me see. So I showed them the video and they said, can you airdrop that to me? So I did. I don't know who investigates this thing from here on in, but seeing it actually happen might help them.
