Simpsons fans turn local bar into Moe's Tavern | The Moment

Listen, what if I helped you turn this bar into a hangout for guys like me? We are big fans of The Simpsons here. This year for Halloween, we've given the entire bar a costume, Moe's Tavern from The Simpsons. A lot of our clientele, it turns out, are Simpsons fans. We have Simpsons-themed drinks, Doof beer, the Swedish import, as well as Red Tick beer. Mmm! Cold, refreshing, and something I can't quite put my finger on. Simpsons-themed decor all throughout the bar. Our own fake food empire called Krusty Dog, a reference to Krusty Burger, but instead it's Hot Dogs. I got to have a lot of fun sort of imagining what signage and fun knickknacks would look like if I was maybe the interior designer for Moe's in a different universe. It makes us proud. As well, and happy to just see people enjoying and having fun. OK, so they may have started something there because the executive director of the Barton Village BIA there says, you know what? Haven't seen a business do this before. Maybe next year they should all do it. So 2027 Halloween, Hamilton, be there.
