All right, let's go, Cowboys, and let's go.
Let's get this Friday started.
We're tracking some showers already on radar,
and we will have them kind of scattered in nature,
a few little pieces of energy rolling through.
So the first batch is this morning.
We get another one into the afternoon and evening,
and then more rain into tomorrow morning.
But I do think we're drying in the afternoon from west to east,
and it's looking good for trick-or-treaters just about everywhere.
If we were to still have a shower around,
it would be in east Texas tomorrow evening.
We've got a warm
We'll
be
right
back.
Strong to severe, so that is something
to pay very close attention to, but let's just
get through the next couple of days first.
This is the energy, the moisture that's heading our way.
We've got one little piece moving in this morning.
Most of this is just light, showery precipitation,
and then we've got more back behind it that
will come in later in the day.
But the highest rain totals
and the best coverage definitely well to our west throughout Friday.
Notice there's not a lot, few light showers,
sprinkles maybe coming out of these clouds
from the west.
From Sulphur Springs to Palestine with the actual rain, like.
Light to moderate showers off to the west and southwest.
More of that moving into Mineral Wells, Strawn,
Breckenridge, down towards Stephenville and
Heiko, Hamilton to Meridian.
And this is moving northeasterly.
So in the next one to two hours,
this will be moving into the Metroplex.
There will be some wet roadways.
So please use caution.
Otherwise, very uniform temperatures,
mid and upper 60s for most of us this morning
due to the clouds and just this very muggy air that we have in place.
So not feeling so great.
We'll be tracking these showers on and off through the morning hours.
I think we've got some through the commute into the late morning.
A lot of this will lift to northeast.
We get a little break, kind of spotty,
lower coverage, and then more for the late afternoon
and evening hours as we go into your Saturday morning.
We'll begin the day in the low to mid-60s again,
very gloomy, and then into the afternoon
everything shifts eastward.
Highs tomorrow, still a lot of low to mid-70s,
and then I think we're closer to 70 degrees
upper 60s to about 70 as kids are trick-or-treating.
Now, this front next week, all signals are that
this is a strong system
and we could have some strong winds coming out of the storms. I don't
think this would be a tornado threat,
but a damaging wind threat, maybe even some small hail.
We still have a couple of days to fine-tune that for you,
but just want to update you now and keep
that on the back burner. This is something we'll
watch early next week. And then behind it, we will
dry out and cool off to more seasonal norms,
and it should feel pretty good by the middle of next
Okay, there's your four more in seven-day forecast.
Highs in the mid-70s with scattered showers on and off today.
Mostly the first half of tomorrow with the wet weather expected.
I think we dry out for trick-or-treaters.
And don't forget, we fall back, gaining that hour of sleep.
There's little A. Yeah, she's ready for Halloween.
