Hi guys, just a little update video for May 2024. I wanted
to make this video because I haven't made
an update video for quite some time
and I just wanted to update you on my progress on my fat loss
and how my fitness journey is going. So overall
the fitness journey is going really well
I'm nearly at the lowest weight that I've
been for over five years now since I started my fitness
journey, I've just gotten under 200 pounds
which is about 14 stone and this many kilograms. I'm
I'm so happy with the progress.
I have one or two more months
and then I will be the lowest weight that I've been since I started
my fitness journey. In the last 10 years
or so I haven't been this low in weight so
I'm really excited to see what happens
and I wanted to thank you guys for supporting me for
such a long time. It's been nearly five years since I uploaded
my first video which is this one
which was running every day for 30 days
and that video I just made for a record of myself
just to see the difference before and after
and it went viral and it really did
That kind of changed the direction of my life
and since then I've been making tons of videos
of weight loss and different exercises
and I hope you guys have really enjoyed them and
there'll be plenty more coming from June 2024 so keep an eye out.
But yeah I just wanted to thank you guys
for supporting me all of this time.
I get comments from the same people and I read all of my comments
and I try to reply to every single one and
Yeah, it just means the world to me. We just reached
reached 65,000
65,000 subscribers, which is crazy to me
and my dream is to one day hopefully with your help reach
100,000 subscribers so I can get the nice YouTube plaque
That would be such a nice feeling to get that plaque
I just wanted to thank you guys for sticking with me
I know I've had some times where I've gained weight
and I've lost weight and
My fitness journey hasn't been as straightforward
as I wanted it to be and not just a
downward trajectory of losing so much weight.
It doesn't really go that way for a lot of people, so
hopefully you guys can see my struggles as well.
But right now I'm feeling so good
and I'm so close to reaching.
My goal of being the lowest weight
that I've ever been since I've started.
So yeah I just wanted to share some advice
on how I've managed to lose about four stone
which is this many pounds and this many kilograms.
I've tried a lot of different diets and exercises
but I wanted to share what worked best for me
so it might not work best for you but hopefully I'll
give you some ideas. So my diet recently has
been a lot of meat-based products so no good
if you're vegetarian or vegan
but I've been focusing on getting a lot more steak and
eating a lot of chicken and eggs
and I think it's really important to have high quality
meat and eggs and animal products and dairy products
when you can because I think it makes
such a big difference. Recently I tried the keto diet
which I was really impressed by.
It's probably the diet that I felt the least restricted
on and the least hungry and I also
had a lot of energy to exercise as well.
I found it really good and it helped me lose a lot of
weight so I'm really impressed with the keto diet
and I would recommend it to anyone.
I was thinking about giving it a go.
I've also tried the one meal a day approach to diet.
I found that's really good as well, but I found it quite hard to time
when I wanted the one meal a day.
So I was trying to have it late afternoon
and it kept going later and later.
But overall, I think the one meal a day works really well
if you're going out to a restaurant or having a big meal, then
I believe one meal a day really helps with that sort of situation
so you can go to a restaurant
and enjoy yourself. You could even get up to 2000 calories
and still just have your one meal a day
and it still helps towards the weight loss
because I've done it a few times and found really good
results with it. I also tried a water fast for three days
and seven days. Weirdly enough the
three-day one was harder
because I think it's quite a big adjustment and then once you reach
four or five days your body gets quite used to it
but yeah I found some good results from that.
And I didn't gain back all the weight
as soon as I started eating again because
I gradually reintroduced food to my diet
and I managed to keep most of the weight off. So that
was really good. So another method in my fitness journey
and my weight loss program is to do daily
videos. I've been filming every day
which has kept me really motivated and I will start uploading
these videos. They're short videos.
I'll start uploading them in June so hopefully
you guys will enjoy them as well.
It'll just give an idea of the exercises.
That's what I'm doing every day and the type of food that I'm eating.
But I've really enjoyed making these videos.
I have also filmed myself weighing myself every week,
which I'll be uploading soon again in June.
And that's been really motivational.
I believe filming yourself once a week is the optimal amount to...
weight yourself because
your weight fluctuates day to day so it's not the
best indicator I found
because it can be quite discouraging especially if you've
had a really good day and done a lot
of exercise only to find out that you've
not lost weight or you've even gained weight
but weekly weigh-ins I feel is
the
Sweet spot of weight management just to give yourself motivation.
If you've been solid for a whole week
and done good exercise and eaten well,
you're pretty much guaranteed to have lost weight.
So weekly weigh-ins has definitely helped me a lot.
In terms of my exercise, I still love running,
especially on the treadmill.
I believe it's the best way to run.
For me personally because I like the consistency of it,
I like trying to beat my times and my speed
and I just like the consistency of running every day for a week
and then trying to add five minutes
and five minutes and increase the speed
and I like recording the results so for me it's the
most motivational way. I know a lot
of people don't like running on the treadmill but personally
I really enjoy it and I just love the stats behind it and progression.
I've also been trying out a lot of new different exercises in my gym.
I'll show you a couple here just in the background
but I wanted to mix up a bit.
I felt like I was getting a bit bored of the same exercises
so I've tried a few new machines.
Some of my favorite new exercises are using the ab roller
which I find really
I've worked my abs the best.
I find it's a really good exercise for your abs.
And I've been trying to use
the gym resistance machines a lot more as well,
which you can see some here in the background.
Oh, and the Stairmaster is one of my personal favourites as well.
You guys know I love running upstairs, so a machine dedicated to stairs
and tracking your stats is really ideal for me.
It's like a perfect machine for me,
so I really like the Stairmaster as well.
And of course, you guys know I've kept up my planking.
There'll be plenty more planking videos coming along.
I can't believe my most popular video is this one
and it has nearly 8.5 million views,
which is crazy to me that 8.5 million people have watched me planking.
But yeah, thanks so much again for the support on that video.
I also have some more really good news, guys.
I've recently, well, not so recently, about...
Nearly a year ago I found my soulmate,
my girlfriend and yeah I'm just crazy about her and she's
been helping me a lot with my fitness program and my diet.
She cooked me a lot of steak which is always good.
She really likes walking in parks and stuff like that so we go
on a lot of walks together and I really enjoy it.
But yeah I'm just really happy that I found my dream girl
and it's really motivated me to get healthy as well.
and to lose weight and to look my best for her.
So yeah, that's pretty much it for the update guys.
I just wanted to let you know how it's
going about my weight, my exercise
and all of the new videos will be coming starting from June 2024.
I hope you guys really enjoyed them.
I'm so motivated.
I'm so close to beating my record of my lowest weight,
which was about 13 stone and this many pounds and this many kilograms.
Give me a couple more months and I'll be there
and then we'll see what happens beyond that.
i'm really excited so i just wanted to thank you guys again
for all of the support and the comments
and the likes and everything all the times you shared
my videos it's just meant the world to
me and it's really actually changed the direction of my life
and where i'm going in my life so i
just wanted to thank you guys
so much again i haven't spoken to you directly one-on-one
for a long time i hope you've enjoyed the video and
gained some knowledge from it and leave any questions
or comments or feedback you have
uh in the comments below and i've replied to all of them but yeah so
in june you'll be getting a lot more videos from me
and i can do some more update videos if you
like this sort of one but yeah thank you
so much again for watching and i'll see you in a bit
