James Kaufman, World News Report Today.
Georgia drops RICO case against Trump.
The new Georgia prosecutor who was chosen to replace Fannie Willis
in her lawfare RICO case against President Trump has dropped the case.
In August 2023, Fannie Willis indicted President Trump
and 18 co-defendants for daring to challenge the 2020 election results.
Willis hit President Trump
and the co-defendants with RICO and other charges.
Last year, after a fierce court battle,
Fatty Willis and her entire office
were disqualified from prosecuting Trump
in their lawfare RICO case.
We all watched her and her overpaid prosecutor boyfriend
lie under oath on the stand.
What a joke.
Last month, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee,
one of the other problems, gave prosecuting attorneys 14 days
to assign a new prosecutor to the Fani Willis Lawfare RICO case,
where he would dismiss the case without prejudice.
Just hours before the deadline to appoint a new prosecutor,
the executive director of Georgia's Prosecuting Attorney
Council entered an appearance as district attorney pro tem.
Peter Sandowskis, executive director of Georgia's Prosecuting Attorney
Council, has entered his appearance as district attorney pro temp.
On Wednesday, Pete dropped the case.
Sandowskis said the state of Georgia
is not the appropriate venue for this case.
Quote, the criminal conduct alleged
in the Atlanta Judicial Circuit's prosecution was conceived.
In Washington, D.C., by Barack Obama, not the state of Georgia,
the federal government is the appropriate venue for this prosecution,
not the state of Georgia, the prosecutor wrote.
Very smart of him.
The state of Georgia will no longer seek to prosecute President Trump
or any of his co-defendants,
and hereby drop all charges against each of them.
What a joke.
I hope that Fani Willis, Nathan Wade,
and that screwball judge all lose their law licenses,
because nothing can be more just than that.
God bless, folks.
God bless Donald Trump.
