Replacing a condenser fan motor on a 29 year old Payne.
This morning we got a condenser fan motor
with stiff bearings that has stopped so we're going to
we're going to replace
the motor. I don't know
if you can see
this but that looks
like that has that
oil
coming
out
of
it
which
happens
sometimes.
You
can't
tell
it's
cold
out
here.
Another
motor.
This
right
here
I'm
putting
this
brown
with
a
white
stripe
the white together
that's going to be my white
or yellow wire.
I'll take that and put
it over here
and contact it.
Those two wires are basically
the same thing.
They
both
go to
the run
winding
one
right
here.
That goes to my capacitor.
And on this one, this is a five.
Check it real quick,
but we're fixing
to tie into that.
First
of all,
I got
it
disconnected.
Point
nine
one.
Try real hard not to say war.
I know I got a southern accent,
but it's not a war, it's a wire.
Check
rotation
real
quick.
This thing
just went
in the
vehicle.
Ooh,
that
contactor
looks
rough.
I'm gonna just
essentially
check rotation,
end, clockwise
rotation.
I think I'm gonna have to switch it up
according to this right here.
Lead end,
we need
clockwise.
Yeah,
I gotta
reverse
that.
Pull
this
back
inside
and
get
some
zip
ties
on
it.
Barely
under,
but
we're
under.
Good on my hand.
