Molson Coors releases "Clinch Cans" for Brewers World Series Champions

Welcome back to Fox 6 Now, where we are talking all things World Series. The Brewers, they are champions. Oh my gosh, that feels so crazy to say out loud. Still settling in with the craziness of last night. And after the win, we've heard of a lot of businesses honoring the team in very fun ways. This one is very Wisconsin. This is a look at the Miller Lite Clinch Cans. Thank Very cool. We're going to get into all of this, but I just wanted to show you what we're talking about, because I love how this looks. And we are going to bring in a guest now who is going to talk all you about it, Allison Hanrahan. She is joining us. And Allison, first of all, before we get into very the cans, want to know how you're feeling today. Are you well rested? much. I am well rested, but still so excited. What a day to be in Milwaukee. I know. And what, have you heard of all the bars in Florida saying that our Wisconsin fans have drank all the beer out of their bars? Because we're talking about beer. Love to hear that. Not surprised. It is truly, how Wisconsin can that be? Okay. So speaking of beer, I know you have something to share with us. Tell us about the clinch cans. Yes. So last night, the Milwaukee Brewers made history and we wanted to capture that moment the best way we know how. So at 1013, when victory was made on the field, we were not only celebrating, but pulling cans off of our lines to capture that moment. So we created these clinch cans to celebrate Milwaukee history. Where can people see these cans? Will they just be rolled out in stores? Where can you find those specific ones? So they are a limited edition. So starting on November 2nd at noon, fans 21 plus can register to reserve a can, a single can, so that will be one per person at our Miller Brewery Tour website. And then from there, they can select a time to pick that up in person at our Miller Brewery Center. What has this been like just as someone who works for Molson Coors, like this whole experience for you? This has been truly incredible. As a team that's been named after an industry that really helped build this city, Milwaukee Brewers and Miller Brewing have had a partnership for decades and have really been partners hand in hand throughout that. And this is such a great moment, not only to celebrate that, but to be able to capture it with something like this clinch beer is truly remarkable. And being able to share that with fans makes it even more exciting. I'm curious, too, about the design of the can. Can you tell us about the inspiration? I love the blue. It's very cool. Yes, it's in true brewer fashion. It's the Brewer Colors, and there's a really interesting message that I won't share on the back of this can, but fans will be able to see it once they collect it. And is that the baseball on the sides there? Yes, it is. So, baseball and barley. So, going hand-in-hand with brewing on the field and then brewing here in Milwaukee. Oh, I love that. Okay, so you said November is when fans can get their hands on these cans? Correct. So you can reserve a can starting November 2nd at noon for fans that are 21 plus. And then there are select dates where you can come in person to pick that up at our tour center. How do you reserve it? Is that all on your website? It's all on the website, so you'll be able to reserve it directly through that. What are you expecting from people? I mean, are these cans you think people will store forever? Do you think they'll drink out of them and then save them? What's your expectation from fans? Yeah, so really up to the fans on how they choose to celebrate with it. It's a taste of history and victory. It's incredible to see the response already and how excited people are. The Text messages and emails that I received last night at midnight asking, is this real? How do I get one? Has been incredible. And the beer inside the can is also special, right? Yes. So we always think the beer inside our Miller Lite cans is special, but this is extra special because it's truly capturing that moment when the brewers clinch that victory. And so we want to capture that moment and share it with all of our brewers fans, as well as our Miller Lite fans. So if you want to reserve your can, you can't do that until November. Correct. November 2nd at noon is when you can reserve it and it's limited. So there are only 440, sorry, 4,400 cans made. Can you reserve just one per person or like, are you limiting it that way too? Yes, it will be limited to one per person. Okay. How fun. I mean, we've been talking about how fans in Florida, as I said, they, I think drank all the beer at one of the Brewers Watch parties. I don't know what beer they were drinking, but I mean, how is it, how did you guys come up with this idea, just kind of pairing the most Wisconsin things together like this? It's so cool. It truly is a uniquely Milwaukee way to celebrate this. Just being down the road from the field where the brewers play and being able to brew right next door and see it from our brewery is pretty incredible. So it really speaks to just how we're always involved in the brewer's celebrations, whether it's just brewing the beer or being a part of the celebrations here in Milwaukee. And so this has just been an incredible moment. It's so fantastic to see the city celebrate. A team that has been waiting for something like this for nearly 44 years and the energy in the city is incredible and hearing it, seeing it, feeling it has just been such a wonderful time to be here. And there were a lot of beer showers to be had last night. I don't know how you feel about that but they were. They were spraying the beer around last night. That is one way to celebrate. So can you see American Family Field from your window right there? I'm trying to tell with the sun. Is that your view? Yes, we can. Oh, that's so cool. And we projected a Go Brewer sign on the sign of our brewery throughout the series to just give an extra fan celebration for us to share with everyone as well. I love it. Can you show us the can one more time? I just want to show our viewers because I think it's so cool with the barley. And the baseball stitches and how it says clinched 2026. Is there anything else you want people watching right now to know about this clinch can special edition to celebrate? Yes. So limited edition, again, only 4,400 have been made for this moment. It's such a great way to capture this, this moment for Milwaukee, for Brewers fans across the state and to really celebrate this moment with everyone here. Well, cheers to that.
