There are all sorts of occasions that call for chocolate-covered strawberries: Valentine's Day, weddings, baby showers, champagne brunches, Friday nights at home and Wednesday afternoons alone. Sweet, fresh fruit covered in a creamy blanket of rich chocolate, they're the finest of desserts.
I love everything about chocolate-covered strawberries. I love the crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth shell and the cool, sweet strawberry beneath. You could buy a box of candy, but where’s the love in that? I love giving them as presents, and I love receiving them equally as much. And I especially love how easy they are to make at home — it's an afternoon project with a result that looks fancy no matter your candy-making skills. Today I will show you how to make them and decorate in few simple ways that make them look fantastic.
The only other trick to making chocolate-covered strawberries is that the strawberries must be very, very dry. If you have any water left from rinsing or any sticky bruised areas, the coating doesn't "stick" to the strawberry as well. Drops of water can also make your chocolate seize up and become grainy as you dip. After rinsing the strawberries, I recommend patting them dry and then laying them out on a clean dish towel until they are completely dry.
Привет всем! Hi guys! Welcome to my channel.
Today we're making one of the best desserts
in the world. It's chocolate-covered strawberries.
I'll show you loads of different ways how
you can garnish them, how you can decorate them,
and you can give them as a gift, as
a romantic gesture.
Just eat them on your own while watching some romantic comedy. Loads
and loads of ways. Very delicious, super simple. Let's get started.
we're going to need dark milk
and white chocolate I've got some finely chopped
nuts in here different mix toothpicks different candy
and strawberries and I
picked quite large strawberries just
so it's easier to dip them so the first
thing you want to do is put a toothpick
into your strawberry right in the middle
so it's easier to dip them just like
that the next thing we're gonna do is
melt our chocolate I'm gonna do it
in the different bowls in the microwave but
you can also use double boil
and do it over the stove so I have my white dark
and milk chocolate melted
and we don't want to overcook it we want it nice and
runny now I've got these Ziploc bags
and I'm gonna put a few tablespoons of
mixture in here I'm going to be using
a white foam board to stack my strawberries
just so the mixture dries out and it's nice
and set so the first way is very
basic we take our strawberry
and we pull the green leaves away and we just dip
that into our chocolate mixture roll it around
and then you want to pull it up
and get rid of the excess chocolate
the second way is to take your white
chocolate strawberry and then do a little zigzag up
and down with your dark
chocolate just like that we do the same
with the dark chocolate and white
chocolate mixture now take our nuts
and we dip our chocolate just lightly tap
just around and you get
this beautiful chocolate nut one next method is take
Take your white chocolate strawberry,
and we're going to draw little circles just around
like that.
Just keep going around,
and then on the second layer.
Another way is to go
across lengthwise,
just like that.
Another way is to draw a few lines just
on top of the strawberry, like that.
And then take a toothpick,
and we're just going to move it about a different size.
Creates a beautiful marble effect, just like that.
You can also dip one half into white
and one half into milk chocolate and that looks like
that.
I think I'm covered in chocolate now.
This was so much fun.
You can play around with different designs,
with different candy, whatever you like.
Now they need to go
into the fridge
so they set completely.
So here it is, chocolate coloured strawberries in different ways.
I just love them.
They look so cute, so pretty.
You can give them in a cupcake case just like that as a gift
and they are perfect for any
occasion.
I hope you enjoyed this video guys.
