Not what I initially thought. No cooling call

Alright on this one the homeowner was complaining that the fan wouldn't shut off and it wouldn't cool. Now the fan's off now but I'm looking here and see if um we don't have a melted control board or something. Okay we don't have a control board we've got a board our motor and it would not shut off. If I'm not mistaken that gray wire right there is a direct feed to this blue and he's got what looks like warren let's make sure that blower's gonna work outside i hear it humming i think i know what your problem is i knew what it was before i came down the steps no sir your compressor's not starting and i can see the lights blinking just a little bit when it was trying to come on and there's your problem right there this capacitor i can see it's wet on the top and yeah that's i'm gonna pull it out and test it but um that shot that's on the 45 the five is good but we're gonna replace the whole thing all right all right let's put power back to it see what happens i think that right there on the wall is gonna turn it off yeah i got no voltage right now just gonna do a quick check because i really don't want to pull it up all my gauges going into this i thought it was going to be a melted control board or stuck sequencer wasn't that at all
