This lady needs something adjusted, but it wasn't her bad.
Let me introduce you to Natalia Gaviara.
She's 36 and she's from Kissimmee.
Now, she got really intoxicated
and went to the Dollar General and pulled out a knife.
I didn't stutter.
She pulled out a knife and she's waving it around
and threatening customers.
One of the managers starts running customers out the back door
because she's afraid that
she's going to stab some of them.
and then she stabs a soda bottle. That's right.
She jugged a soda bottle with her knife. And of
course, they're dialing 911.
They're running patrons out of the store, and she's now threatening
people. This is Polk County.
To the rescue, these two folks hold her at gunpoint. That's right.
They both had concealed firearms. One had a permit.
And in Florida, you don't have to have
a permit to have a concealed firearm.
They pulled their gun out and held her at gunpoint. Way to go,
Polk County. So when we got there, you might say the caper was over.
We took her into custody,
charged her with disorderly intoxication,
theft of the soda bottle that she stabbed.
Soda bottle said, ouch.
Put her in jail for two counts of aggravated assault.
Did I tell you she's
here illegally from Colombia. Illegal alien.
That's right. Maybe you act that way in Colombia,
but you don't act that way in Florida,
and you sure don't act that way in Polk County,
or we'll pull our guns on you here.
Congratulations, citizens. You did what was right.
You intervened when a violent felony was occurring.
You kept everyone safe until the
Sheriff's Office could arrive. So congratulations to you.
And Natalia, as soon as we finish sending
you to prison, you're on your way back to Colombia. Have a good day.
