Hi everyone! Welcome to my channel Alice's yummy food. Today we're going to be making persimmon spiced cake and this cake is so beautiful, so delicious. The aroma in the house is going to be fantastic and it's a season for persimmons now so you better get your hands on them and make this delicious cake. And if you haven't subscribed to my channel yet, you really should because I do awesome recipes two times a week, sometimes if you're lucky I do three and they are so easy and so delicious and I love to take requests from you guys as well so leave your comments below if you want me to make anything specifically for you and I love you guys so let's get baking all the ingredients will be listed under my video we're going to need one lemon persimmons ground almonds brown sugar double cream caster sugar flour baking powder and baking soda nutmeg cinnamon vanilla extract unsalted butter and eggs add butter add sugar add one egg at a time cut your persimmons in quarters and we're going to blend them in our food processor add persimmon puree into your mixture add cinnamon and nutmeg add vanilla extract and all the dry ingredients add lemon zest and lemon juice lastly add ground almonds in the meantime slice your persimmons into any shapes you like so our delicious cake has cooled down We're just going to take that out I'm going to brush my cake with some caramel sauce on top
