This is the basic yeast dough recipe. I will show you step by step how to make it! You can use this dough to make all kinds of rolls, and shapes. This will keep in the fridge up to 5 days. It mixes up quick, doesn't need alot of kneading. I will be making Piroshki in my next video with this dough!
Hi guys! Hello everyone! I'm Lobdyn.
Today I'll show you how to make a perfect yeast dough
and this yeast dough can be used for many, many different recipes.
I will be posting recipes tomorrow on how to make
these delicious pirozhki, which are like bacon rolls.
And then later on I'll be also posting sweet ones,
which are filled with like sugar.
They're so delicious, so easy to make. Let's get baking!
The first thing we're going to do, we're going to activate our yeast.
So add one teaspoon of your dry yeast into your bowl.
Add the sugar, because yeast feeds on sugar.
And lastly I'm adding warm milk,
it has to be warm, not hot and not cold.
This will activate the yeast.
So we're just going to put half of that in there.
Add your butter into the rest of the milk
and we're going to warm it up until it all
melts.
Take a large bowl, add your egg
and we're going to add all the ingredients together.
So your egg, your flour,
melted butter and milk, and the yeast milk.
Mix all together with a spoon.
Once you've formed it, just take your hand and start rolling the dough,
just to make sure it's all incorporated.
We're going to knead our dough for 5 to 6 minutes until it's nice
and soft and doesn't stick to your hands anymore.
In your bowl, add a
little bit of oil.
Place your dough into your bowl.
Grease it around.
And this is to help the dough to rise.
move it around just to make sure it's greasy on all sides.
Cover it with a damp towel and
we're going to leave it to rise for about one hour.
It's been about an hour and a half and
our dough has risen doubled in size. Look at that.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe on how to make your
own yeast dough at home.
It doesn't take very long and you can see it's nice. It's all gone.
That's from the yeast. It smells really, really good.
I will post several recipes on what to use
is dough for in the meantime thanks for watching
and I'll see you soon bye
