We are back in the attic,
and I'm fixing to try to cut this out
so I can reuse what's here.
See, I don't have it, just a short little piece here.
I might be able to cut it nice and smooth.
I've already got it pumped down outside, get this changed out,
and we've got to do something about this drain.
This algae, this algae
is like paper, but we're
fixing to reuse this pan,
so clean the algae out.
i'm gonna add some algae tablets i'm gonna glue
this drain back let me go get that coal i'm
nervous about this pan right here
this is broken they only have one screw in here so it makes it
all the more important to have these hooked up i'm fixing
to start working on that i'm just
gonna clean up these joints a little bit make my job easier
when i go to solder this back in
all right we're fixing
to solder this in it's kind
of difficult to get up here
and once i
get
here
I'm
okay
but
you
get
24-inch
centers
on
these
rafters
it's
what
liquid line has been replaced I noticed upstairs
that it had been the old one
had
been
doubled
back
and
a new
one
is in
its
place
and
get a
vacuum
started
and work on that
drain see how I
have it hooked
up I got a half
inch hose this is
valves off except I got
the core depressor removed
and the core removed
caps insulated and glued
so we're set here I am at 12 minutes since I started
this and I'm only down to 1200 microns
to kind of expect them
a little bit better my oil
still looks clear here we
are at 22 and a half
minutes and vacuum pump either ain't doing so well
or maybe I have a leak somewhere anytime I pump
down like this i'm suspect of those valves they can leak
and it'll throw everything off but down
to 1200 microns while i was out here my phone
busted through my pants but i'm fixing the valve
this off and see
if it holds okay i got this
valve off long story short
this is why i was having
trouble pulling down all right
so if i hadn't hooked up that hose to my schrader core remover
that would have pulled down a hole.
Tis the lessons we learn.
