Spooky Halloween Fun

So when you're ready for a candy break this Halloween, how about some fun toys? That's right, the Toy Association's Rachel Griffin is here with a few of this year's best spooky toys for every age. Good morning. Good morning, how are you? You're so festive. Thank you, I try to get in the spirit of things because it's play, right? So you can't go wrong. Yes, you look great, I'm gonna order these. Yeah, they're good little accessories. These are so fun. They are, so cute. All right, let's talk toys though. Yes, absolutely. So I wanna start it off. So this is what we call bones in a box, so it comes with a book and a toy. And it's really cute because everything is completely Halloween themed, even our little Mr. Bones here. He is 10.31 inches tall, so October 31st, it's Halloween themes and he's got even cute little hearts in his nose and in his chest and if you put his hands together, it'll make a heart as well. So it's all about love and embracing everything, but he also glows in the dark in a warm glowing so it's not spooky and super scary while he is a skeleton and it's a great little book. So it's a great way for families to engage with each other. Have story time, cuddle time, you can do pranks with him and all these kind of little fun things. I like that, nice. It's great. So the next one I wanna say is this is Miniverse World. So MGA has done great with these unboxing and these little spectacular balls. Kids love it. It's absolutely fantastic. So this one is the Halloween version. So you're gonna get lots of different surprises inside. We have vampire blood and we have jelly brains and things like that. So you're not sure which one you're gonna get inside. There's all surprises. And again, you can build out your all little ingredient section here. I feel like this one needs to turn so the camera can see the details. But also these are all good toys for if you're doing the switch witch, right? Is that kind of the thing like we're going for? Trunk or treat, things like that. Yeah, so you can have these little ones and they're all instead of candy. It's great, and the price points are so perfect for a lot of these items. So again, it's super, super fun. Or even booing people, yes, the boo bags. The boo bags, I love it. So the next one we have is Magna-Tiles. So Magna-Tiles is a staple in anybody's toy box. It's so great. So this is the spooky piece. So this is the travel set. So this is a 24 piece set. You can make pumpkins, you can make a haunted house, anything you want. And I love it because it's travel size. So this is a metal tin. So one, not only do all the pieces are contained in that, but it's metal. So you can do it in your lap, in the car or anything like that. I love a good cleanup. And even if you're out trick or treating, some kids get overwhelmed, bring it with you in your bag because it's so small and comfortable. Have them sit on the side of the stoop and play with it to chill out a little bit before they go on to the next house trick-or-treating. It is awesome. Something that's going to make a mess. It's a nice box. Just don't step on it. Yeah, this one may hurt your tippy-toes a little bit if you step on it. But this is the Lego, and this is fantastic because wreath season is coming. And who says wreaths have to be just for the super, super holidays, right? So Halloween is getting a little love from Lego. And this is an awesome, awesome set. It's so cute. And I love it because we do have it for 12 and older because it is pretty eccentric. But again, when you're done with it, you can hang it on your door. It's perfect to welcome those trick or treaters as they come to your house in a very fun and festive way. My gosh, so much detail too though, right? So much detail. It is something that's fantastic. Because the Lego wreath and the next one keeps them busy for a long time. Yeah, both of these will keep your kids entertained for hours upon hours, which is super fun. But they get magical pieces when they're done. So this is from KiwiCo. I'm not sure if you guys know it's a subscription box basis. And this is awesome because you can create your own little haunted house. It comes with everything you need is right inside this little box completely with the The lights, the markers, the tools, the step-by-step directions on how to build it. It is so much fun and just so creative. And at the end, again, you have these magical creations that your child did that they can say, I did that. It's not, I opened a box and it was pre-built for me. This was an experience that they got to do all on their own. You enjoy it more when you do it. And it says six plus, which is impressive because the details are so intricate. Yeah, so they have different levels, similar to Lego on each price points on how they make their difficulties go. But what's this one in particular it is six plus which is great and even six plus sometimes they do it more for what's included. So like a five year old can probably do it with parents supervision. And it's modern day modeling, right? Yes, it's great. Okay, so last but definitely not least. So we do have this aged up for say 17 plus just because it's more of a collector toy. It could be a little bit scary, but this is the throwback to your favorites from Halloween, from Chucky, from vampires, from gremlins. Yeah, so you don't really know which one you're gonna to get. It's a complete blind box. So this is for those collectors. And again, because bag charms and backpack charms are such the huge rage, it comes with a keychain so you can put it on your bag. And it is just so much fun. And I think a lot of collectors really like this and adults because it's the throwback to when they were kids. So it's really, really fun. So we have one here if one of you wants to open it up and see who you get inside. Oh, look at the little keychain. It's super cute. Now you're going to put that on your bag. You're going to put it in your bag. Okay, so you can do the surprise. We'll see what It's like the Halloween La Boo Boo. Exactly what I was thinking. Who is it? You got gremlins, so it's super fun again. And that is one of the fun factors of playing too. So you bet that the unknowing of what you're gonna get inside is just spectacular. So and then again, it's just a cute little plush that you can hug with or put it on your bag and bring with you on the go. Yeah, so cute. All right. Fun, fun ideas. Thank you so much. Absolutely. And you gave me ideas for the hair. Perfect, that's what I'm here for. All about inspirations of play. And the skirt, look at you. So the Toy Association is always advocating for the benefits of play. So check them out online at toyassociation.org. Thank you so much, Rachel. My pleasure, ladies. Thank you.
