World Series: Brewers manager Pat Murphy delivers clubhouse speech

Listen up guys. It goes without saying, you know, how grateful I am. Grateful to have a group like you guys. I really am. All of you. And it starts with Mark and his group. Got to remember guys like Bud Selig who got this thing started. And of course, you. I got a little message for you. Matt Arnold and his front office, the Ivory Tower, putting all this together incredible you know what i mean and we set out we set out and we talked about uncommon mindset we said in spring training you might be shocked it really did and then we had people we had leadership that committed to that and committed to that uncommon mindset being undaunted And it starts, guys, you've got to connect this. It starts back when Robin played and the way he played the game. That set the tone for the Milwaukee Brewers. 20-some-plus years, Hall of Fame, and he's still here celebrating with you guys. And he comes all the time because this is a connection you'll remember for life. So, Uke sent me a text today. He said, look, I helped you against the Padres. and i messed with the dodgers a little bit and then you came here and you're on your own because we had a double header and they actually let me catch the last three innings of the game but you did it for the city you did it for the state and you boys ought to be awfully proud to know that you're the first ever milwaukee brewer team to be world champion
