World Series: Brewers' Sal Frelick speaks after title win

He starts spraying some bottles. Yeah, a lot of friends and family and a lot of just Wisconsin, you know, people from Wisconsin and Milwaukee coming out, I think. No, no, not at all. Whose birthday? Oh my gosh, that's that's unbelievable. It's not a coincidence to me. Just just everyone in this organization, everyone in the state of Wisconsin. I don't know if anybody deserves this more than the fan base of Wisconsin. They just deserve it, and we're playing for them. It's been a long time coming since they were in a World Series, and to get them their first one, just like, that's who we're thinking about. You're an organization guy. You're an organization guy, first-round draft choice. I remember when you came to the Fan Fest, that sort of thing. You'd just be introduced. The organization there to where it is tonight, and you're part of it. How does that all hit you? Yeah, I mean, even thinking back to thinking that even this team took a chance on me, knowing their culture knowing the standard is to play here they saw me and took a chance on me and this has been my family and home for the last you know six years and I wish I wouldn't wish I was anywhere else how do you feel you've represented for them man I hope I uphold all their values and not just the values of the organization but all the values that people from Milwaukee and Wisconsin paid money to buy tickets to come watch you know when did you start thinking something like this was possible for this team oh I mean since I debuted since I was drafted like they've been knocking at the door you know this is a prestigious organization and don't let anyone tell you any different it was just a matter of time i think uh before we got to the final stage and i'm just glad we did how do you describe what Christian Yelich has meant to this organization yeah incredible like i said he's our pillar and everything goes through him the standards held through him and that guy's an MVP an All-Star Silver Slugger but nothing is above him i think that's really unique for a guy like that
