NVIDIA Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot First Look

NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot brings advanced artificial intelligence, 75 degrees of freedom, and sophisticated robotic hands into 1 remarkable machine. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor, this humanoid robot offers a closer look at the future of physical artificial intelligence.
Built around the Unitree H2 Plus platform, the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T Reference Humanoid Robot stands nearly 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. It features 2 Sharpa Wave robotic hands, each with 5 fingers and 22 degrees of freedom, giving researchers a platform for developing precise object manipulation and humanlike movements.
At the heart of the system is the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 processor with Blackwell graphics architecture, delivering up to 2,070 teraflops of artificial intelligence computing performance using 4-bit floating point calculations. The robot also includes 128 gigabytes of unified memory, advanced vision sensors, and approximately 3 hours of battery operation.
NVIDIA Isaac GR00T is more than a humanoid robot. It is an artificial intelligence robotics ecosystem that combines foundation models, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and human demonstration technology to help developers train robots for real-world tasks.
NVIDIA is also expanding its robotics ecosystem with the Agile ONE SN humanoid reference platform, demonstrating how different manufacturers can use NVIDIA technology to develop their own intelligent machines.
Could NVIDIA Isaac GR00T become the foundation for the next generation of humanoid robots? Watch the video to see the technology, robotic hands, computing hardware, and development tools behind this ambitious project.
