IFA 2026 in Berlin is the biggest tech show in Europe, and this year it looked less like a gadget show and more like a preview of your house in 2030. The Xiaomi SU7 that will be in your garage, the XGIMI projector that replaces the TV on your wall, humanoid robots walking a runway, XPeng's flying car, Govee lighting, AI pet tech, and translator earbuds that let me speak Tagalog to a stranger. Most of it is coming from China, and most of it is closer than you think.

Which one of these do you actually want in your house, and what did I miss that will be in every home by 2030? Tell me in the comments.
A tour of the IFA tech conference in Berlin reveals a glimpse into the home of 2030. The future is defined by high-performance electric vehicles, foldable projector-based entertainment, AI-driven robotic companions, smart health wearables, and advanced AI integration for pets and language translation, with a significant amount of innovation originating from Chinese tech companies.
This is the car that's going to be in your garage in 2030.
And this is the TV of the future.
It's just the wall.
The future is also robotic companions inside of your home.
Today, I am at IFA in Berlin.
It is one of the largest tech conferences in the world
at Rival CES.
And I'm going to show you what your home
is going to look like four years from now.
Let's start inside of the garage.
This is the Xiaomi SU7.
And in America, you haven't heard about it
because they don't sell it inside of America.
In fact, they don't even sell it in Europe,
but they just made an agreement at this conference
with eight different big dealer networks
that this is going to be sold in 2027.
Now, why is this important?
Well, this car, it looks kind of like a Porsche Taycan.
It's a four-door electric car,
but it is the fastest production car in the world.
It beats Porsche Taycan, it beats Tesla,
it beats Mercedes-Benz, and how do they measure it?
Well, they rented out the most ruling racetrack in the world,
which is the Nürburgring, which is here in Germany.
It's about a 14-mile track.
That is where Porsche does all of their main testing.
This car is the one that currently holds the record
for the fastest lap time at the Nurburgring.
I don't think the German manufacturers
are that happy about it,
but there's not much you can do about it
except make a car that's gonna be faster
and that can beat it.
And I'm sure they're working on that.
The crazy thing about this company
is they don't just make cars.
They are like the Apple of China.
They make iPads, they make cell phones, they make vacuums,
they make laundry machines, they make TVs.
They even make air fryers, Xiaomi air fryers.
And yes, in 2030, hopefully we have flying cars
like these ones from Xpeng, another Chinese company.
I've done full in-depth reviews of this.
even sat in that i'm going to fly inside of it at some point
but imagine your garage has this big van
and then a drone helicopter flying personal aircraft comes out
of it and then you just fly
away that is coming 2030 four years from now
the living room in 2030 are not going to have tvs on
the walls and it's not because screens have gone away
but we're gonna have things like this this
is a company called XGIMI and get to know their name
because they're going to be around a lot and
yes this is a tv right here
but it's not a piece of furniture that sticks on your wall with a black
screen all the time. When you're done watching it,
it folds down nicely into this box and it's
tucked away so you can have regular art on the wall
that looks beautiful. It's unique because
this is a projector screen and typically projector screens
are seen as lower quality, but this is the
Horizon Ultra 3 Max and they're really leveling up
the quality of the graphics and the colors. You can
have your images shown in 4k 120 hertz,
which if you are a gamer and you want to play Fortnite or
whatever you play, 120 hertz is a really fast refresh rate.
So not only is it high quality,
but you can see things a lot quicker.
Now how about this? If you have a movie room and you
want a projector, this is the one to do because you put
on these glasses and you can watch 3D
movies inside of your movie room and it is beautiful.
This is a 100 inch screen, no mount,
no cables in the ceiling and it just sits normal on a console.
Two projectors in one makes a lot
more sense when you're doing 3D images
but also to enhance the quality of the image that's projected
on the screen without having to max out one projector.
The Titan Noir series was the most
funded projector project
on Kickstarter 19.37 million dollars they raise i'm not super smart
with like all of the tech when it comes to 3D images
and projectors but i do know that when
i put on the glasses this 3D image looks like i'm
at the movie theater watching Avatar and uh
of course i would want that in my home
this is a different version the Noir Ultra Max you don't
have the little screen display that comes out
of the ground it's your traditional projector
that's a white wall right there
which a lot of people have white walls in their house honestly
looks like a real TV on the wall
but a giant TV on the wall look the bottom line is in the future
we are not going to see traditional TVs on the wall
and it's because projector technology like
this Aura 3 Max by XGIMI is getting
so good that why not use a projector if you see our house back
home the master bedroom i really enjoy having a TV
on the wall inside of there but i would say 95
of the time we don't have the TV on so you just see black
on the wall and how cool would it be
to have just an art or just some paint on the wall
so you don't notice it as much thank you
to XGIMI for sponsoring this video if you want
to check out a link in the description we'll have
their current products that they're selling
the future is also robotic companions inside of your
home I was told that this is one
of the world's first ever robot parades whoa look at this guy
we got this guy hi buddy oh boy oh no i think
it's stage fright they need to do this at CES
this year it's having a robot parade bring out the best of the best
and i love the ones that are
functional like they actually serve a purpose
so that they carry things they can go into places
that are dangerous and take care of stuff
or just be a companion for somebody i know it's scary to
think about robots in the future especially with AI involved
but i think there can be a lot of good
with it all right now this is tech that you can use in your home
or when you are on the go this
necklace right here you put it on and then what it does it's got like
a little camera sensor infrared
looking thing it's not like a 4K camera
that's tracking things it's enough that's like this
to where it sees colors and pixels
and it's able to pick out stuff so this is an orange watch this
i put it up and it's like this is an orange
this is how many calories you have i don't know i've
never seen this before
this is a corny protein bar granola bar maybe 220 calories 20 grams of
protein so imagine you go throughout
your day you don't think about what you're eating well you think
about it you think you're counting calories
so you just wear a really cool looking necklace
and then uh well that's a lot
of cheese i don't think anybody would eat this much cheese that's
what this company is AI technology that you wear
that tracks your calories that's home tech that's
coming in the future and if you have a huge yard
or you have somebody that does agricultural stuff
look at these drones this thing is massive
so it can identify the different trees and bushes
and go on a certain line to drop all of the fertilizer
or whatever it is that you're chopping on your agriculture.
I kind of just want one just to deliver stuff to people.
But I feel like if I had one,
I would probably cut my head off.
These blades are massive.
So I'm already not good enough with like these small drones,
but the future is drones.
Look at this, AI robots in toys.
You've got a camera on here.
It can look at you.
You can talk to it.
It's like your little companion.
I think people will like this.
Kids, oh, I pet it and it's making music now.
I really do think, yes, some people are going to be scared of this,
but some kids are going to absolutely
love having a little robot friend.
This guy can get really tall.
Like, watch this.
Okay, show me how tall you are, buddy.
Look at that.
It's like a Muppet from Sesame Street right there.
Little wings, like penguin wings.
Okay, get smaller again.
It really likes me, I think.
This is a company called Govee, and they have the best colored lights.
They have all different kinds of lights.
You've seen us before.
We've done Christmas lights before with them.
But how about inside of your home?
You have light bars, you can put lights behind the TV.
They even have like little mood light thing
that you can talk to and have it do stuff.
Because here's the thing,
the lighting can affect your mood in many ways
and you need to have the proper lighting.
And if you have a smart light,
then it's actually going to be a different temperature
during the daytime than it would be at the nighttime.
We don't have smart lights in our house right now.
We did wire for it,
but we didn't find the right switches and the right things.
And that's on our list of things to do.
But I definitely see in the future,
we're going to have smart lights.
Like look at this in the dining room.
Look how much cooler this is in the dining room
if you have like unique colored lights.
This is not something that my wife would like, this color of lights.
But there are different things you can do with your lights.
Why are we so boring?
I think in four years, you're going to see more
of this type of lighting in your home.
And your future home is going to be smarter for your pets.
They're going to be using AI to monitor the health, how they go
to the bathroom, how they're feeling, if they need to be taken care of.
They're going to have little spaceships like this,
little capsules that they can go inside.
And the air is purifying him and making him feel cozy.
AI technology to make your cat and your dog
happier and healthier.
Your future home's gonna have it.
I really don't want a cat though.
I'm a dog person.
And it's not just your cats and your dogs
that people are making AI tech for.
This is a bird bath, bird feeder,
and we've seen that before.
But how about this?
What about those people that have reptiles?
Well, these are cameras that can go on your tank
for the lizards, for the reptiles.
There's a bunch of lizards in here.
AI in 2030 and camera tech is going to be
not just in your toys,
but also for your fish and your reptiles.
And I'm okay with that.
The future is here when it comes to translation services.
You get this little box
and it has two different headphones inside of it.
This one's Chinese.
This one's English.
So this is the way it works.
You put one in one ear.
We start the app.
Hello, welcome to our something booth.
Time Kettle Booth, that's the name of their company.
So that's what she said to me.
So now I'm going to say, well, she speaks,
See, this isn't fair because she speaks English and Chinese.
So say something to me that I probably won't know.
And let's see if I get it right.
What do you think of Germany?
What do you think of the weather here?
Is that what you said?
That's what she said.
It's amazing.
Can you believe that?
It just translates for,
yes, there's a little bit of a delay,
but there's 52 languages, 106 different accents,
so useful as you're traveling.
How much does it sell for?
This one is about 379 USD.
I speak Filipino or Tagalog. Do you speak Filipino?
No.
I'm going to say something in Tagalog because I was born there.
I lived there for many years.
But Tagalog is not great.
So show me some grace here.
But we have her being English.
You asked me how am I and what's my name?
Okay, look at it. Let's check the tape.
What did I say?
How are you?
what's your name it works everybody it works
so i came to germany and this is some of the best tech
that i can see it turns out most of it a lot of it
is from china that is kind of taking over the
world when it comes to tech when it comes to ai
and wearables and the things that we're going to
have inside of our house and inside of our work
which thing do you most want inside of your home
and also what didn't i show what do you think
is really going to be in your house in 2030
that we haven't even thought about yet i'm
pretty excited about it thank you for watching
I gotta get out of Germany and get back to America.
