His Plainview father is accused of tasing his son,
his autistic son rather, during an emotional outburst.
Police say the principal at the boys' middle school reported
the 14-year-old had scratches and marks on his neck and stomach.
After an investigation, the boys' father, Jin Chang,
was arrested and the taser removed from the home.
And nearly five years ago, News 12 first broke
the story about allegations of sexual misconduct in Babylon schools.
And now, the state attorney general's office
is placing the blame on the district.
News 12's Daniela Rodriguez is outside Babylon High School tonight
and spoke with the former student who first spoke out.
Daniela, good evening.
Joe, good evening.
Brittany Roll was 16 years old when she says she was groomed and then
sexually abused by her teacher here at Babylon Junior High School.
That was in 2010.
Today, she says she feels absolutely validated by the Office
of the New York Attorney General and its findings.
Newly released information from New York State investigators say there
were several instances spanning decades
in which Babylon school administrators say, quote,

And now the Babylon School District says it has condemned
and will continue to condemn
in the strongest possible terms the behavior
and culture of permissiveness and predation
with the new administration and Board of Education.
Quote, they say we have spent the past five years establishing
a new culture that puts the safety of our students first.
And we're going to detail the steps
the district has taken tonight at 10.
For now, we're in Babylon, Suffolk County, Daniela Rodriguez, News 12.
