USC Trojans discuss some of their problems against Wisconsin

Well, I mean, they, you know, they brought some, they brought some max pressures against us a couple of times where they've got, they decided to come after us and they, they, they caught us in some calls that we didn't love there. So give them credit. We lost some in one-on-ones, which we knew they got some talented pass rushers and that was going to be important. Yeah. I mean, we had some moments where we protected good and didn't execute too. I mean, again, it was just shared responsibility. I mean, I'll get back and study it, but I can't look at one group and say, man, that group was outstanding, you know, and that's what you need. on the road like you need groups to step up and really play their best and we just we didn't and and again my the biggest disappointment to me offensively was you know crossing the 50 i don't know how many times we crossed the 50 and didn't get points but it was i haven't seen all the stats but it was it was a lot and in a game like that where points were at a premium you know you just you can't miss as many opportunities as we did yeah it was a weird play i mean i was going to use a timeout um we we had a player not go out they were smart and did the slow sub on us and i was going to use the timeout i was going to see if we were going to get the kickoff and then we panicked and we snapped the ball with the official standing there so the penalty wasn't delayed because the clock ran out the penalty was we tried to snap it before the official cleared it i was going to call the timeout ahead of time obviously wish i just would have done it now standing right next to the official but they we the penalty was we tried to snap the ball when the official was still standing over it so um yeah and then the 58 yarder um i mean he hit from that in pregame um we knew points were at a premium at that point and and just felt like obviously 58 yarders never going to be crazy high percentages but we needed points at that and and and to punt it down there that just didn't feel like it made the right it was the uh the right choice at that time
