I'm meteorologist Ashley Braulweiler with a look
at your forecast for Newfoundland and Labrador for today.
It's going to be generally quiet but unsettled.
There may be a few flurries around.
I'm already seeing some of those flurries this morning,
just a few of them east.
And we may see a few flurries as well, again,
for the west coast heading towards central as well this afternoon.
But overall, it is going to be a pretty decent day.
We're looking at a mix of sun and cloud for most areas.
Temperatures on the cool side, though, into the single digits.
wind chill values this afternoon likely only in the minus single digits
so you're certainly going
to have to bundle up because temperature
is only topping out about three to six degrees this
afternoon and it is those northwesterly winds
that are going to keep those wind chills in the
minus single digits gusts will be anywhere from 50
to 60 kilometers per hour that will be the case
across labrador as well that's the best chance
of seeing any flurry activity today we'll continue
to be quiet as we head into Thursday.
Then Friday rain arrives a little bit warmer temperatures
that will drop Saturday starting in the west
and eventually by Sunday in the east.
